Best cocktail bar in Oslo by bar. We were fairly disappointed with the cocktail bars that were recommend online and I was ready to give up on a quality craft cocktail var in Oslo. But I'm so glad we came here regardless.
We were lucky enough to sit by the "fire" in these fur seats. The Calvin Klein and the Northern Lights were our first cocktails and favorite by far. The Calvin Klein smelled exactly like a kouign amann/ crossaint! It was delicious! The Northern Lights was similar to a milk punch, which I loved. I highly recommend these cocktails.
We pretty much had the entire menu. The Spanish Harlem was a smooth tequila cocktail that wasn't too smoky, which I appreciate. The treat that came with it was absolutely delicious. I thought the Kon Tiki was okay, it tasted like straight passion fruit juice but my boyfriend insisted he also tasted spices, so he enjoyed it and it came with a lemon meringue treat.
My boyfriend ordered a coffee cocktail with Jameson black barrel and condense milk, which I'm a sucker for both ingredients and ended up drinking most of it. It was a sweet treat and you should save it for the end. It was their take in the Irish Coffee but with espresso foam at the top and condense milk mixer at the bottom.
I also had the Met, which was their take on the martini but easier to drink. I'm not a martini person but curious enough to order it. It came with herbal oil, which I honestly didn't taste too much, but it was still good.
I couldn't remember the name of the rest of the cocktails but they were all good.
Each cocktail came with a story and how these little details were incorporated into the cocktails, which made it even better. I would definitely return and recommend it over any other hyped cocktail bar in Oslo. read more
