In the middle of town and just perfect for what we were seeking. Wasn't looking for a full meal but more than just a snack. Premade sandwiches, some pastries, coffee, and some specialty teas. I got a great cup of cappuccino, and barista made a fun latte art. They heated the sandwich for me, and it just hit the spot. Friendly, lots of seating inside, and some tables outside if the weather's nice.

Quick take out or sit in coffee place with a lot of seating downstairs and upstairs. Great place to warm up after a long walk by the water

A very friendly coffee house with vibrant ambiance and really great coffee as well as pastries. It was rather crowded and the queue did take some time but otherwise perfect.

My wife and I stopped to grab some breakfast while exploring the city. The food and coffee were good with fair prices. My wife said her Chai tasted more like egg nog than chai but that she enjoyed it. The cafe is large with plenty of seating and WIFI! Would definitely return.

A cute little coffee house near our hotel! We needed a place to crash and just rest before we checked in our hotel. This little gem just happened to be the spot. We ordered ice coffee, hot chocolate and chocolate cheese cake. The ambience is cozy and perfect. You can just sit back and relax! It's clean and comfortable.

This coffee house is beautiful! It is a two story space with seating all around, inside and outside. It's centrally located by the town hall and has a plethora of coffee and food choices. I ordered the lox bagel and an iced coffee and both were presented very quickly. The coffee was strong, but not bitter and there were multiple choices to add: milk, cinnamon, white, and brown sugar. The bagel was tasty and filling! There are charging stations on both floors and a beautiful decor! Would definitely recommend: the location is great & the staff very kind!

Large hot chocolate ...and a random guy sleeping. Pretty much the ultimate coffee shop photo.

A traveler's dream: * Large coffee house with plenty of seats and outlets * Free wifi * Open late * Good drinks and snacks * Corner location with huge windows-- great if you like natural light or people watching Cozy, relaxed atmosphere with a fairly loud conversation buzz that makes an excellent white noise background.

This location is right around the corner of the Hotel Continental. It's one of the bigger ones I've come across in my travels through Copenhagen and Stockholm, and it was interesting to note slight changes in menu options between countries (loved the Tiramisu latte in Copenhagen, which I didn't find in Stockholm or at this location). I ordered a cinnamon bun, a triple chocolate cookie, and a chocolate Frappuccino, and my friend ordered a slice of blueberry pie, and also a latte. It was all good, though my bun was a little dry. The cookie more than made up for it though - probably one of the very best cookies I've ever had! This is a really busy location, so seating availability can be a challenge.

So who's the more beautiful? There's only one answer to that! This place is a spectacular architectural delight of a coffee house, an uber cool walnut layered Scandinavian barn conversion of a place. And staying on walnuts. The cranberry and walnut scones are worth an effort. Not that it'll be too much of a burden to chomp them down with your subtly caffeinated hot drink. I couldn't believe how friendly the staff were, there was so much disbelief in me that I had to do a double take the next day. Not only that, but I decided on a magnificent walnut and brie Panini. "More walnuts"! She gasped (not the good looking, ever blonde waitress. The exclamation came from my not so blonde, but twice, nae thrice as beautiful wife). I may even do a triple take tomorrow. No, I'm sure I will!

You are too amazing of a coffee shop to be in Norway! PLEASE come to California! I swear, everything in Norway is ten times better than everything at home. I came in with my friend after seeing the Castle up the street. We got tea and the flat white, and it was AMAZING inside. I can't even describe the incredible presentation they have going on. Sandwiches, bagels, treats, desserts, all types of stuff! Comfy chairs, unique ladders, rugs galore! The gal who rang us up wasn't super friendly, but I'll pass that aside. We didn't mention we wanted our drinks to go, so after we paid we told her and she was not happy. Worse things could happen by patrons, but maybe she was grumpy! Just be specific with your order and they won't hate you ;)

One of my favourite coffeeshops in Oslo. The range of goods is quite big and the coffee is delicious. I also appreciate such small and innovative goods on offer like kurkuma shots.

Great decor. It's a chain store so coffee will be average, but the atmosphere here will outweigh it. Come here and relax with a some mates!

Well I must say it was not a bad choice! This place on daytime serves food which is more or less the typical cafe food, with burgers and salads. I had one of the salads that had grilled cheese and it was good. The salad came with bread and aioli for free on the side (generous portion of bread). Not a bad deal. And I also thought the price was ok. It was sth like 170nok. The place itself is very special. Filled with numerous colours and strange decorative things. I saw also the backyard which everybody has commented on when I was leaving, which does seem very cosy. What I didn't really like was how dark the whole place was as there were only few windows to the outside. And even though the salad was ok good, it was not something I would be going back to. So in general terms it was nice but not amazing! Good for lunch or coffee in a cosy colourful place.

The server recommended Afternoon Break as our tea selection and it was wonderful. (I'm not really a tea drinker) We also had the Afternoon Tea service that included everything you see in these pictures. The scones were delicious and the lemon curd was lemony and not too tart. All locations offer reservations for tea, with the Copenhagen location booking out quickly. I Decided to try the Oslo location with my friend, which had plenty of availability. We Ordered the afternoon tea which consisted of two ham sandwich slices, two smoked salmon sandwiches and two cucumber sandwiches, four scones, two macarons and two lemon tarts. All of which was served with our choice of tea. We also shared the cheese plate which was delightful. Loved the earl greys and the history regarding the queens blend. Was a little discouraged when the server put the receipt on the table early on while we were still eating, but they do this with everyone. It's more of a way to track the order than to encourage departure. The gift shop also has a lovely variety of items. Definitely a worthwhile shop and would consider returning in the future.
