I really didn't like her demeanor especially towards the end of the project. She started coming up with excuses about why things weren't getting done in a timely manner. Our project was suppose to take 10 weeks and it took at least 20. I should've never trusted her, there are so many red flags now. She didn't pay the contractors who did the work here. She won't answer any phone calls or emails from anyone she owes. But she went away every weekend while our project dragged on. The backsplash was the last thing to do and the guy doing the tile said he couldn't do it because the wall was so uneven. She told him to just do it. She made him do it anyway. Then she never paid him! And we have a backslash with 3 inches of spackle behind it. It's glass tile and its cracking. I hear she's bankrupt. The guys that did work here are calling asking if we've heard from her. We paid her over $100,000,00 and I think she was here 3 times. Be careful, and don't use Cherie Carignan she owes a lot of ppl money.

We had some ideas on what we wanted the finished bath to include, but did not know how much change could be worked into the space available. Cherie was able to design for us a new bathroom that feels spacious and includes many of the things we were looking for. Cherie also handled support for the cabinets and design details, working with us on paint colors and hardware details along with the plans that were needed for our contractor, Roberto of Double R Home Improvements, to build us the perfect complement to our master bedroom. Cherie was very prompt with replies to our questions and had several suggestions that we would not have thought of on our own. Overall, we are very pleased to have worked with Cherie and recommend her highly!

Unique among the…read moreindependent hardware stores in the area, they cater to contractors and specialize in building supplies. Because they sell to professionals, they carry higher quality tools and supplies than the more typical homeowner-focused hardware stores. They also have a great selection of paints and stains, including Benjamin Moore. They are also distinguished by their lumberyard. They carry a broad selection of quality wood, from small molding pieces to plywood and long boards and milled products, and their knowledgeable employees can help you figure out what you need for a project. They buy better lumber than the big stores, so you don't need to root through stacks looking for acceptable boards. Once you place your order, drive in to the lumberyard, and employees will make any cuts you need and help load the wood into your vehicle. They also deliver, for no additional charge, a handy service for long boards and large orders, and a necessity if you can't fit lumber in your vehicle. The staff is very knowledgeable about lumber and building supplies, and have helped me many times when I wasn't quite sure what I needed for a building project or how to go about making something. Because they know many local contractors, they can also make recommendations when you need to hire someone to do a job. If you go there, mind the hours, because they are closed on Sundays, and also close earlier in the day than other area hardware stores. Willard's is an incredible resource in the area, with a great selection of high-quality building products and supplies, knowledgeable employees (many of whom have been there many years), and great customer service. They also deliver. Need I say more?

They were getting stripped and would no longer open. I originally had a Master Carpenter look at them, and his estimate involved a great deal more work than what Scott ended up doing to fix them, keeping the cost down and still repairing them with much less disturbence to the windows frames etc. We originally hired Scott for our roof. He did a wonderful job. again, keeping costs down if he could, though alway consulting us about options. There hasn't been a job too small or too large yet. It's great to have him on the job!

Scott was one of very few roofers who responded to our calls, gave us the best quote, and pushed hard to get a big job done (it's a ranch house with a lot of roof) while the weather held. What really sold us on APR, though, was how obviously Scott knows what he's doing and how meticulously he applies his knowledge to his work. He knew all the pros, cons, and technical characteristics of the materials we considered, diagnosed problems we didn't know were there, worked with us to keep the costs down, and was open and honest in all his dealings with us. And - oh, yeah - the roof looks great. There's never any guarantee with ice damming, of course, but we are confident that Scott has given us the best possible shot at keeping the water outdoors this winter.

In May 2019 we are starting to notice water behind our walls on the second floor. Final inspection was never done on the roof because owner of company never called to schedule it. I had it done may 22nd 2019 and it did NOT pass. There is many issues. Sealant was applied to cover up mess ups holes in roof that where never there before roof was even ripped. A ridge vent was applied and never should of been. Very time I came home during the process business owner was never on site. Bob, the owner of Suburban Remodelers, will probably never see this review…read more Let this be his greatest weakness, but Bob isn't exactly the most tech-savvy contractor you'll ever meet. He does all his estimates on paper, gets his pricing from a paper catalog, hands out business cards at fairs and trade shows, and engages in many other old fashioned histrionics to make a living. He may never truly understand the concept of an "online reputation," in fact. But none of that really matters... Bob is an extremely nice guy, and the results of his work were impressive. We just needed five new vinyl windows upstairs to match the relatively new existing ones downstairs. Bob identified the downstairs windows (Harvey Slimline), and found all the right materials to make the upstairs match nicely. It was a small job, but it was executed very well, and for a much lower estimate than the handful of other contractors I met with. Bob and his co-worker were done in about four hours, and cleaned up after themselves nicely. Fair price, job well done. Hopefully, Bob won't be too surprised when his next customer tells him, "Well, I saw your good reviews on Yelp." "Son of a gun, what the heck is a Yelp?" he will most likely reply...
