Girl who took my order was not friendly or informative. I said that it was my first time there and I had some questions about some menu items. I don't think she even knew what they sell there. Food came out fast. The chicken burrito looked promising, however the small chicken chunks were hard and dry. I picked them out and gave them to my dogs. I won't be going back to this restaurant. There are plenty of other restaurants that make a better chicken burrito. read more

I asked for a surf and turf burrito and got no guacamole and no sour cream on top of that my wife is allergic to shrimp and she also got a burrito but the cook messed up on identifying which burrito was the shrimp. Horrible read more

Decided to give this place a try been hearing a lot of hype about it. Had ordered the birria fries. Instead they sent the asada fries. No biggie, but the asada meat was flavorless and over cooked. I just want to start this off with saying that I went to another fuego cravings in West Covina and the service was genuinely horrible the cashier was rude and looked bothered every time I asked for extra sauce and the broth that comes with a pizza birria. I understand portions but they had given me one 8 oz container of broth for a whole birria pizza and a couple of green salsas. Ultimately I asked for more but was given unnecessary attitude. I asked for more broths/consomé but was told it would be an additional charge and under different circumstances I would've just paid for another portion but I refuse to give that establishment anymore money so I left. All this to say that even though the West Covina one is closer I will drive the 23 min to this fuego cravings just for the service I was given by Nick the cashier. Every time I asked a question he was patient and with good attitude and answered every single one. In addition to that this place gives two 8oz consomé and as much green salsa as you'd like. I want to give this place more stars because I love the name & concept, but it just doesn't deserve it. This place popped on my radar during the pandemic and I quickly became a fan of their churro bites & esquite; However, their quality has gone way downhill especially for the price. Churro bites have been inedible the last 3 times I ordered them -- either burned or overdone on the outside and raw on the inside & the cinnamon sugar never sticks to the churro, so you end up with fried dough sitting in a bed of sugar. I honestly prefer Del Taco's churros ANYDAY. The agua frescas aren't fresca -- not the refreshing drink you want a summer day because they Jack flavor, sweetness & the texture is clunky & unappetizing (especially the cucumber (pepino) one). The esquite has been watered down during my last few trips & it lacks flavor, tastes like boiled corn with some butter. The most shameful is their "birria" and "consommé" -/ they're just awful & they always always have been, unfortunately. The menu centers around the birria so you would think they would put some love in it, but there's no developed flavor! The birra lacks spices, passion, & love. It's basically like wet carnitas that was quickly made and broth with a couple of spices (consommé). The place isn't serving fresh, authentic cravings food like the menu suggests. Also, the front end service is always bleh -- no customer service and awkward. I'll be looking elsewhere when the munchies hit. read more

EVERY TIME I order food through door dash and ask for NO CILANTRO OR ONIONS they put both in my food. I've ordered from this place FOUR times and literally every time they put both when I asked for neither. Because it's happened every single time, I'm not ordering from here anymore. By the time I pick both out, half my food is practically gone. Their food isn't the cheapest so to see half my food gone because they put something inside that I asked not to, it's disappointing. I had the Birria quesatacos with the consome and the Birria nacho fries and it was bomb! Although I did order an Al pastor mulita and the meat was very dry I took one bite and left that alone. So you order at the register and they bring the food out to you which is cool seems to get pretty busy. read more

Soooo good. Ive ordered the shrimp and fish taco and the asada and birria tacos (queso and street) as well as the burritos (I like the tacos more tho) and the aqua Frescas. Each time the food is absolute gas and the prices are not that bad either. The customer service is really good, everyone who works there is nice :)) and it's also a clean place.
