I had dinner at Fuda Seafood Buffet on a Monday night, and it was fairly quiet. Parking was easy both in front and in back. The buffet was around $37 per person. The seafood was fresh, especially the oysters, clams, crab legs, and crawfish. There was a good selection overall including sushi and drinks. But the tables felt small for a group, so managing all the plates was kind of tricky. They do charge extra for lobster now, about $6.99, which makes sense because of lobster inflation but I did notice a few dishes not available from before. The desserts, at least for me, weren't a standout.

I'm going to be very transparent when it comes to AYCE. I'm just a very simple guy that loves a buffet lol I go to many AYCE places. This review is based on Lunch time (at opening. I came right at 1130am and was seated at 1135am). Things were starting off good because we got FRONT parking at the restaurant lol We walked in at 1130am and were seated immediately. We were a group of 8 people. Everything was pretty much out and available already. Only a couple fried dishes were brought out maybe 5-10 minutes after. All the raw seafood and sushi were out and nicely displayed. Each Station had an employee standing there waiting to adjust and refill the sushi and seafood. I'm a huge fan of going at opening if you can. You basically get everything fresh. You can't really expect an establishment to keep refilling food every 5-10 minutes. Got to give them some time lol Food - I'm going to be very honest. I thought the food was pretty good. Actually, my whole group had a great experience. We thought everything was good and fresh. The crawfish was VERY good. Every piece was fresh and tasted like it was live. The spicy crab was my second favorite. They had a mala fatty beef with mushrooms, amazing. Idk, maybe we got real lucky that day? LOL Drinks are self serve and unlimited. I feel like this will eventually change because there will be wasteful people out there. Service - GREAT. Plates were taking right away. They did not just randomly reach over and grab it. They all asked if we were all set and if we needed help. Overall, our experience that day for lunch was good. No complaints at all. I can't really give it 5/5 because it's not the best food ever. My rating is base on my experience with service and food. I'm just very surprised to hear a lot of bad experiences and that's unfortunate. I'll be sure to go back again (lunch only) and see if things changed. I don't think I will go for dinner because $50 is hefty and I can't see it being much more different than lunch besides offering the crab legs.

I wish I loved this place more because I was so excited to try it out when I saw it blowing up on social media. Unfortunately the food was just okay quality and less variety that I expected. I came on a weekday lunch and knew I wasn't getting oysters or crab or lobster, but the sushi variety was lackluster and almost half of the hot food was fried carbs like French fries, cheese sticks, scallion pancakes and dumplings. While the bottomless drinks sounded nice, they were all bottled drinks. Wish they served something a little fancier like a fountain machine with ice. Even the water was bottled generic, and the napkins at each table were Kleenex boxes which threw me off. Right now there is a promotion where you get a discount for writing a review, but honestly I think that's an unfair way of promoting the business when almost all the Google reviews are 5 stars. That just doesn't seem right to me. I'm glad I gave this place a try but it's likely I won't be back.

Dinner price here as of 8/2/26 was $42.99 per person. Spent over an hour here at dinner and somehow was only able to get four slices of salmon sashimi after multiple failed attempts. That tells you all you need to know about this place LOL. Also, while they do serve lobster, the good pieces were usually gone within a minute. Some of the lobster pieces were also VERY mushy, which could mean that the lobsters had died and released toxins prior to cooking, increasing the risk of food poisoning.

Came here for the lobster and left thinking it was an average buffet overall. The garlic ginger Cantonese-style lobster was easily the highlight of the meal. If you can get some fresh pieces, definitely do it. The downside is there are a lot of people who crowd the seafood station, so getting lobster can feel a bit competitive. At $43 per adult, I think the value is fair, but not amazing. The sushi is about what you'd expect from a buffet at this price point. It's fine, but nothing memorable. They have a surprisingly large selection of Sichuan dishes, which was nice to see. I just wish there were more vegetable options. Other than the green beans, the selection was pretty limited. The drinks were good, but I've been to other Asian buffets that offer a better drink selection. By the end of the meal, we both felt pretty bloated, which made the experience less enjoyable. Ambiance is what you expect. Don't take your girlfriend here on her birthday guys. Overall, it's worth trying once if you're looking for lobster and a wide variety of Chinese dishes, but I don't think it's one of the better buffets in the area. I would give it a solid 3 out of 5.

we love buffets so we decided to give this place a try since it is local and new. we came here for lunch, the place was smaller than we thought. the food option was kind of spread. and a good selection of drinks included. the sushi varieties were ok but the sashimi weren't even cold. we feel like the sushi area can't keep up with producing the dishes as more people were at the restaurant. hope it isnt a problem that the sashimi aren't as cold as it should be. the services were decent. as soon as we placed the used dishes on the table, someone will come by to collect it.

Fuda Sushi Seafood Buffet is an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant in Allston offering a mix of sushi, seafood, and pan-Asian dishes in a casual setting. The dining room has a straightforward layout with plenty of seating, making it a convenient choice for larger groups or anyone looking for a relaxed meal where you can try a wide range of different foods. The focus here is less on a traditional sushi restaurant experience and more on having plenty of options available in one place. The biggest draw is the variety across the buffet. There is a good selection of sushi rolls, nigiri, cooked dishes, and seafood options that make it easy to sample different items throughout the meal. The sushi selection covers the familiar favorites, while the hot food section adds more variety with different cooked entrees and sides. For the price point, the quality feels reasonable, especially if you are looking for a place where you can enjoy a lot of different flavors without paying individual menu prices for each dish. The experience depends a lot on the timing of your visit, especially when it comes to the buffet line. Some popular items can run low during busy periods, and the kitchen may take some time to bring out fresh trays. I found that certain sushi rolls and seafood dishes were best enjoyed when they had just been replenished, while waiting a little longer for specific items was sometimes necessary. The food quality was noticeably better when the trays were fresh and fully stocked. The service was efficient and focused on keeping the dining room running smoothly. Staff members regularly cleared empty plates and kept tables clean, which helped the buffet-style setup feel organized even during busier times. Since it is a self-service format, most of the experience comes down to exploring the food selection at your own pace. Overall, Fuda Sushi Seafood Buffet is a solid choice when you are looking for a casual all-you-can-eat meal with plenty of variety. It is not the place I would go for a highly refined sushi experience, but the combination of sushi, seafood, hot dishes, and fair pricing makes it a convenient option when you want to satisfy a big appetite or enjoy a wide selection of foods in one visit.

I love Fuda. This is my first time there. They have lobster and sushi there. The service is quick. The ambience is loud.

    Assorted sushi, fresh and flavorful

Best AYCE buffet around Boston area. Lots of sushi options, seafood is fresh. Hot food is so tasty and flavorful . Great value, definitely will come back again

The food is decent for the price. Great that included the drinks with the buffet price. Tables are kind of crowded. The ambient is great. Service is ok.

There are maybe five tables in the entire place, and you feel like you're sitting in the kitchen with the chef. A pro tip I've discovered is to arrive early for dinner--maybe around 4pm--to beat the long line that will grow outside. I cannot say enough about the freshness and quality of the food. Our group had a few small appetizers which were excellent, but the real treat was their daily swordfish special. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, other than "wow." So much flavor packed in this dish. Wine is served in regular plastic drink cups alongside fresh bread. You really do feel like you're sitting right in the middle of a great Italian kitchen. It should be noted that this is a cash-only establishment; so plan ahead. This spot is a Must Visit if you find yourself in Boston's North End.

This location was easy to find parking along Harvard street at a meter. We arrived at their 4pm dinner open time and they said give them 10 minutes so we ended up at the new blank street location right next door. Once in and seated, our waitress was great! Marathon Monday vibes all around town. We took a seat in the window nook. My lady loves squid ink pasta and it's different than Japanese style (doesn't stain your teeth haha). We ordered + fried calamari + mussels siciliano + aglio olio We started with the complimentary bread, with olive oil, crushed red peppers and Parmesan! The calamari was next (my must order anywhere i go to taste). Light batter fried (didn't just fall apart thankfully) nice light and crispy. The squid was fresh, not cooked rubbery and tasted great with the marinara sauce (nice hint of spice). Now i wish the portion was a tad bigger but it was yummy. The mussels is the ladies go to, for an appetizer. It came out HOT, with a lemon white wine garlic sauce. Super tasty, mussels definite shine through without the sauce/broth overpowering the natural flavor of the mussel. She finished that up quick and i had a taste myself and agree with her assessment haha. And finally the Aglio Olio, squid ink pasta with minced squid and garlic. This was a perfectly balanced dish, came out HOT be careful of the pan. The pasta and squid just melted together so well. The caramelized butter/garlic with bits of minced squid just had you scraping the pan at the end to make sure you inhale them. Great meal for two. Very satisfied. (Give us another couple ounces of fried calamari and it'd be perfect!)

For appetizers we had fried cheese with pineapple sauce and fried plantain with shrimp in a criollo sauce. Delicious, really fantastic. My wife ordered the sancocho de res, and she totally enjoyed it. I ordered a mixed plate with white rice, beans, tostones, onions, peppers, beef, and shrimp. Absolutely incredible. The tres leches was also terrific. Very well done. But then a group of six rowdy individuals came in. Completely destroyed the nice, chill mood. Total disaster. They were animals, folks. Total animals. Loud, obnoxious, so bad that a table of people actually decided to move completely outside just to get away from them. That's how disruptive they were. At that point, an employee should have stepped in and said, "We're glad you're enjoying yourselves, but there are others here trying to enjoy their meals too." It was out of control.
