I had been with Fuchsia spa atleast 3-4 years prior to cancelling. They make it super difficult. They make you physically come in and to sign the release forms. They called me this past week regarding a spa day that I had set prior to cancelling and when I told them I had cancelled beginning of October, there was no "record" of it and they had to call me next day. It was resolved but I find it very unprofessional to be called when you cancelled the membership. I had a preferred masseuse and aesthetician and seems they got rid of all of their long time team? Sad because I loved coming to them hence why I cancelled. I cannot stand by a company that doesn't take care of its employees. I have had poor quality services from other providers that is why I stick with my favorite people. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this spa for quality and ethics. read more

I have been here twice. The first time years ago for a massage. Last week for a facial. I received a gift card for Christmas, and scheduled a facial. Intake was quick and easy, as I had already completed client forms online. I felt it was a bit of a waste thought because aesthetician didn't really refer to the information I had reported on the client intake, and just asked me about my skin and what I was looking for in the session. If that was the case, what was the point of filling out the forms ahead of time. Even down to the music preference was asked on the form, and the music that was on was the same generic spa music. I would have liked the aesthetician to tell me what product she was using and why, during the conversation prior to the facial or during the facial. I had to ask after the facial about what she actually did/used. All that said, it was a great facial. I wanted a relaxing experience and facial that would brighten and hydrate my skin. And those expectations were definitely met. Jodi was my aesthetician, who is new to the salon, but has many years of experience. I would recommend her for a facial. read more

I prepaid for a package of three massages to use with a massage therapist that I really liked. I was only able to use one of them with that therapist and she is no longer employed with the company. When they called to let me know and see if I wanted to reschedule. I asked for a refund and they would not give it to me. I'm so glad I did not get a yearly package. Buyers beware you will not get your money back and I have heard they are hard to break contracts with. I've only used the one massage therapist who was absolutely great really sad. This place is goals, right from making an appointment to the end of appointment the experience was incredible. Making an appointment is super easy and when u hear a friendly voice u know that it's going to be a good place. I received a follow up call before the day of the appointment with a friendly reminder. Appointment: As I entered into the spa, I was greeted by very friendly front staff. They are so warm and attentive. There is such a positive vibe to this place. The whole theme of the spa is fuchsia and the decor just compliments to the name. I was given a welcome drink which tasted delicious. I chose to get a express massage done and was led into a beautiful relaxing room before the massage therapist took me to the massage room. The therapist had a 12 year experience and she was just perfect. She asked which areas needed attention and checked how much pressure was fine with me. There are different massage oils and I chose eucalyptus. It was a 25min massage and the time just flew by, I wish I could get it done all day. It was so relaxing that I want to just visit this spa every other day. The price point is definitely the best in the market and there are very few spas with such great customer service and experienced therapists. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a facial. As an Aesthetician for almost 20 years, I would never leave my client alone in a room. When I was steaming them with their enzyme, I would give them a hand massage. Besides, what if they had an extreme reaction? This aesthetician literally left the room and the steamer shut off and I was sitting there, like what... Who does that? When Lucy was there, I had a membership and never experienced anything like this. She was attentive and made sure she was providing the best service she could. With this treatment, I literally waited, got frustrated, then got up, put my clothes on and went to the front desk where there were several technicians standing around. And I'm not saying 2-4, it was several. I provide this service for many people and don't understand what she was thinking. I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews, because we are human and we all make mistakes. But the more I thought about it, Fushsia needs to know about it. So I did call the location and the Manager answered. She apologized and was very professional about it. She said they had a large party come in and it caused some confusion, so the technician had to come to the front desk to clarify. But she did not leave for a few seconds. She left for several minutes. The manager also said that they had new trainees and that was why there were several people at the front desk. I think that is a poor excuse. Training should not happen when you have a bunch of clients there. People plan their work and personal schedule around these treatments. I was very disappointed and expressed so. She did offer to have me go to the Dana location to get another facial from a different technician, but I said no. I explained that I go to Ahwatukee because it's very close to my workplace. Disappointed New to the Arizona and his area, I came across this spa and made an appointment for a facial w/ microderm and added 2 other services to my first visit. The staff was really nice. Very low sales pressure for services, membership and products which was nice. The environment is also very clean and relaxing as well. So far 5 stars. Then the services start... The facial was sub par to what I am used to in California. Relaxing yes, but no facewash (beyond a warm moist towel), no scrub, no mask, etc. The Microdem was rather weak and didn't really cover areas on my face or my forehead very well . The lower jaw area was missed completely. For a 50 minute facial, only about 30-35 minutes was actually spent on it. The two other things I had done made up for the remaining 50 minutes to just under an hour which should have been about 1 hour 15 minutes if done right as advertised. And before moving here, I used to have these services all the time for slightly less money so I know what a good facial and microderm should be. My recommendation to customers is to just get one service at a time and watch the clock. As to the amount of products used for your facial, they don't look set up for it in their rooms. Likely they are just using products they sell. The fact this may be a franchise could be their biggest issue. I never go to franchise spas for a reason. In time I might return to see if anything has changed but for now, still searching for a spa that satisfies my expectations. What a lovely and relaxing facial! While I wouldn't say I walked out feeling like I'd had the best facial of my life, I certainly did have the most relaxing. The massage addin for the facial is a game changer. I didn't feel that my skin was "inspected", no extractions etc (which takes away from the relaxing). While this is a membership spa, no one tried to hard sell anything. Overall a terrific experience and I will be back. read more

I had a gift certificate that was not honored even though it said "no expiration" and was issued from this exact location. Was so excited to come in for the Yelp event this morning. From when you're greeted right when you walk in to when you check out Ashley and the front desk team are so helpful and friendly. I've been wanting to try this out and was very excited to be booked for a express massage (under 30 minutes) with Matt. As you check in, you'll have to fill out a quick contact and health questionnaire about your massage preferences so make sure you get there a little early (15 minutes) to take care of these things. Great part is that they give you a little "pink," drink while you're filling out paperwork. Never had cranberry rose but hey it's 11:30 AM in the morning why not right? For the record, the drink is yummy and it's a good way to start any beauty or massage service. The place is very organized, spotless and the layout was well thought out. From the lovely decor in the quiet room to the actual cozy massage room, everything is beautifully presented and serene. As someone who loves getting massages, 2 hours at a time, I consider myself a massage expert. From shiatsu to deep issue, I've experienced it all and in locations ranging from the US to international places like Asia, Mexico, etc.. So what did I think of my massage? It was simply fabulous and one of the best massages I've ever experienced. From when you enter the soothing and peaceful massage room to undressing and laying your clothes in a wicker basket, music playing at the right level to the hot towels placed on your feet everything again was carefully curated. Quick note: Pay attention to the form you fill out before your massage because it gives you the ability to choose what kind of music (I chose soothing/tranquil, amount of pressure (I chose firm) to what kind of massage oil (peppermint or eucalyptus is my favorite). They think of everything! In all my massage experiences from a Massage Envy subscription to an in room massage at a five star hotel to getting one on the beach, I have never laid on a massage table with a warming element. As one that gets cold all the time the warmness of the table felt AMAZING. The table stayed nice and toasty the entire time I was getting a massage. As far as my masseuse, he was a young man named Matt and hands down one of the best masseuses I've ever had. His hands were strong, capable and had just the right amount of pressure. I was in heaven. Overall this was place was 5 star, the front desk and customer service check in was 5 star and Matt my masseuse was 5 star++. I initially became a customer here due to a Yelp event. It is their customer service, available services, and facility that keeps me coming back. Every employee at this location has a great attitude and is very accommodating. They always have little munchies on the register and offer water every time I come. They offer a variety of spa services - facials, massage, nails, waxing, etc. I've been able to try the massages, facials, and nail services but go mostly for the nails. Everything inside is extremely clean, well-organized, and fragrant, and as a result, I feel very comfortable going inside. A little more about the nails, they offer multiple options from the bare basics to the more complicated services. I typically use "gel" polish. Here at Fuchsia, they use Shellac products, which doesn't really make a difference for me but just FYI for people who do care. They offer a diverse set of colors, and better yet, they offer GLITTER options! Who doesn't love glitter?! Anyway, pricing is a more than that of a usual nail salon, but for the customer service and facility, it is well worth it for me. read more

I should likely begin this review with a caveat indicating how little I have frequented spas in my life. Fine, there it is. However, I did wait a few visits prior to writing this review and that's fair. Initially, I discovered this spa through an event and was impressed at the time and decided to book a custom facial. I have now had my second facial and cannot express how night and day my over all attitude is between pre-facial and post. Typically, I don't feel anything will relax me and then there I am, relaxed... releasing quiet noises of contentment and feeling like a weirdo.... but I don't even care. I completed a survey upon my first appointment and Addyson was very good about asking specific questions to try and suit my needs. They do have a membership option which offers a monthly service at a discounted rate. Additionally, you can request extra or add-ons also for a discounted rate. I feel that they are fairly priced for what they offer. I had my toes done at the event I was speaking of and they still look great, a month later! I know, I know, I ought to get them redone but as I said, they still look great! I have a massage scheduled next visit and I will be certain I update but I am willing to bet that it too will be as awesome as all of their other services I have enjoyed this far. My fiancé's mom, Linda decided to treat us to a spa day. It was the Friday before New Year's so a lot of people were out and about enjoying their time off and treating themselves, just as we were. We arrived at around 11 AM for our facial appointments. I have been to Fuchsia a few times before but never to this new location. It's a cute area, parking is very easy as there's a huge lot out front, there is a nice juice place next-door as well. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff-all young and cute girls. They asked us if we had ever been there before, and my fiancé's mom is a member so we explained that to them. We looked around some of the skin care products that they were selling upfront, and I had to fill out a little bit of paperwork before my facial because it had been so long since I had been there. They walked us over to the waiting room and offered us water and M&Ms. We took them up on their offer for water. We waited for about 10 minutes and finally somebody came to get each of us. We were already about 10 to 15 minutes over our appointment time. I was greeted by Gretel who was amazing. She did a remarkable facial and she also gave me advice the entire time. She recommended that I use less harsh products on my skin and that's why I keep getting broken capillaries. I've taken her advice since then and my skin has been improving. She told me that I don't need to look into Botox anytime soon, and I kind of loved her for that. She's a great girl that used great products, and gave me advice. I thoroughly enjoyed my facial. The only thing that I seriously did not like about this experience is that we started late, and we ended early. Altogether my treatment was under 40 minutes and we paid for a 50 minute experience. My fiancé's mom said the same thing as she was actually done before me. We paid full price then we got robbed on our time. It ticks me off, because I don't treat myself often and that was very unprofessional. The facial itself was great, and I would return to Gretel, in fact, Linda chose her for her next appointment. Anyway, I asked them if they heard anything about the salon next door and they said that they only hear good things. I took their recommendation and decided to try them out. You walk In and are immediately greeted be the friendly staff handed a glass of rose' if it's too early they give you the cute little glass to go. I had an ongoing membership for over a year with the option to stop if I was not going to receive services. Under the old management, this was totally acceptable; however, under the new management, this is not the case. Once I made an appointment, the manager called the day before and advised me that I had to pay membership fees for the three months that I did not have any scheduled appointments and for the services I had scheduled for the following day. So, to be clear he wanted me to pay almost $500.00 for "past potential services" before I could schedule an appointment. Needless to say, I have found another spa that offers the same services at a lower price and without the hassle of an awful management team trying to make you pay for services that were not received. I LOVE how convenient this spa is. I'm not the type to splurge on unnecessary things or even treat myself to much self-care (although I wish I could). However, I have a membership which lets me make use of their infrared sauna, compression pants, and light therapy and it feels so luxurious without breaking the bank. I stopped by to check out the new place in my neck of the woods. The decor was nice, as were the front desk people. I hit a lot of unexpected traffic on my way home from work, they were understanding and kind about it. The esthetician was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered questions about some services I've not tried but certainly am intrigued about trying. They do have a monthly "subscription" option. I understand the concept and why you get a discount for it, but the subscription concept bugs me. I feel like life already has enough contracts to read and worry about how they'll be handled. A subscription service for a massage just bugs me, making me feel like there will be a hassle at some point down the road. I didn't remove points for it, but would if they were too pushy. read more

My daughter and I scheduled appointments to have facials done. It was her first time since she is only 12. Staff was friendly and extremely catering. They made us feel like true VIPs! While waiting for our facials we hung out in the relaxation room with tea, cookies, and a fireplace! My facial and microdermabrasion were fantastic! I will preface this by saying I have been going to the same place for over a year now, so I am certainly biased. But, the esthetician I usually go to is on vacation and I needed a facial badly! I will say that the facial itself was pretty good:). However, she finished 13 minutes early, which may not seem like a lot of time, but I truly love every minute! Additionally, I was offered high frequency, but I was not told the additional price required of it. Also, my facial consult was not done until after the facial. I was only early by 3 min, but I wish they had still assessed my face first (I wanted to explain my recent breakout). So, the facial itself was great, but I did not feel like my face was given the full attention I was hoping for. Really beautiful spa though! read more

The experience was good. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful, I just wasn't super impressed with my pedicure. My feet were still dry and rough a few days later like I had gotten an express nail color change pedi. The bench where you sit is kind of uncomfortable. I am so disappointed in the San Tan location. I am a member currently however I mistakenly wrote in the calendar the wrong day for my appointment. When I called to reschedule the appointment due to work meeting I was told it was in 2 hours not tomorrow. Obviously I wasn't able to make it back to Gilbert for the appointment today. I have never cancelled within 24 hours nor be a no show. They I am sure can verify that information. I was asked if I want to pay $30 or shall they take my monthly membership service which I pay $70. I clearly went over the costs with them and obviously makes no sense for them to take one of my membership services. I was put on a brief hold only to find out the manager insisted on charging me. I could see if I was habitual no-show or always canceling within 24 hours but that is just not the case. So I am extremely disappointed in the lack of understanding that sometimes this does happen to good people. I will not be renewing my membership nor will I refer anyone to them. Rules can be broken once in a while but I guess Kayla wasn't feeling generous this day! read more

I am disappointed and unhappy with my lash lift. There is absolutely no change in my lashes, no curl and it does not look like any tint was even applied. I get better results just using mascara. I came to Fuchsia instead of going to a different salon as I wanted to go to a better salon that I feel would give better results. I would not recommend the lash lift/tint and definitely it is not worth the price not including tip. read more
