The shop looks small from the outside but has rows and rows of colorful fabrics to choose from. There are tons of sewing supplies, sewing machines to buy, and they also service machines. Lots of free parking in front of the shop. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable which makes deciding what to pick much easier. Downstairs is where sewing classes are held. My daughter and her mother in law went there and had a similar experience so I feel the need to share the experiences I have had MULTIPLE times. This store is much more focused on its students who attend the classes than your average customer. The general impression is that customers are a nuisance to them. If you ask a question, their answers are abrupt with no follow up. I've asked for assistance with selecting the proper yarn weight and learned to look it up rather than ask. It just isn't a pleasant place to be. If you need yarn, go but if you're traveling don't bother. Order from an online store. It's what I've started to do.

One of the jackets was removed from its package and we indicated which sleeve the logo was to be put on (the right). The logos were embroidered on the wrong sleeve. The company refused to acknowledge the mistake. Samantha emailed us a copy of a work order, where right had been crossed off and left written in. This was supposed to be their "proof" that we had asked for left side from the beginning. We however, have the carbon copy of the original work order indicating the right sleeve was the location for the logos. Embroidery Unlimited took the position that we had told them the left sleeve from the beginning, even though the original work order says right). The owners were on vacation and we were told we could take it up with them when they returned. The owner Judy called us and continued to insist we had indicated the left side all along. It made no difference to her that we had a signed work order indicating the right side, or that the work order was later altered by one of their employees to say left side. Judy and Emily have no customer service skills and were downright rude and argumentative. They blamed us for the error and refused to acknowledge the work order was changed after we signed it. The only employee who was pleasant to deal with was Samantha. We will never recommend this business or send them work again.

The other day I made a booboo while checking out and they were calm and pleasant when they had to re-ring up my whole stack of quarter yards - no eye rolling, just a deep breath and a wide smile. I was "having a day" and they couldn't have been more helpful. My latest find is their skeins of Queensland cotton worsted - the colors make my potholders sing and it has a great hand feel. After ordering sleeping bags from LL Bean I needed to find a place to have the embroidery done…read more Yeah yeah I know LL Bean offers embroidery but if you have kids, and teens at that, then you know that what you think and what they want are two different things. I gave the girls the sleeping bags and carrying cases minus the stitching as gifts and then asked them what they wanted. I got the "I don't know" answer so I ventured over to 4 Seasons with the carrying bags. They gave me color and font options for the girls to pick from. After getting my instructions from the kids, back I went with my instructions. They did a great job and the bags were done. However, after a few trips some of the stitching got caught on "something" and came unraveled. Back in I went to have it fixed. They fixed it up at no charge and no questions. The original price was reasonable and they have an upstairs store so I can buy local school apparel too. The only hard part is matching up my work hours and theirs. I wish I could swing by on a Sat but they are only open weekdays with hours like the bank so I do have to make a bit more of an effort to get over there. Other than that I have been really happy with the work and the service.

Gemini Sign Letters makes a great product, but their whole system is antiquated and very clunky. I place hundreds of orders a month with similar vendors without any snags. Occasionally, an order will be delayed of course, but no problem placing the order. With Gemini, I tried to place my order in April but the system requires receiving emails, clicking a link in the email, which takes users to a confusing site that doesn't give an option for actually placing the order or making the payment. Various people in the company apparently took up the order and from time to time asked me to upload new artwork, color specs, and other information. This is all for a single letter that should be a one click and done order. I don't doubt the quality is superior, the people are nice and helpful, but their system is so bad that I hope I never have to do business with them again!
