I went into this location to get some paint that would match a stain I previously used (different brand). Matching wood stain to a paint I realized is harder than I thought. A BIG shout out to Daniel who spent the time to find the exact match. He enthusiastic took on the challenge and after some trial and error he created the perfect paint color to match the wood stain I brought in. I also overheard the manager on the phone with a customer and she was very professional and on top of her game helping the person on the other end of the phone. Overall, a great experience and would certainly go back for my painting needs.

A previous attempt at another paint company failed miserably to match so i was off to find something better. Well, I found it! I walked in and Shannon greeted me with a giant smile and an eager attitude. Take note other retailers... These things are important! I gave her a sample of the metal I'm in need of matching and she tells me that it should be no problem. She also asked what finish I would like... Ummm, I don't know I tell her "You're the professional". I told her the first attempt was Semi-gloss and that was WRONG!!! So she made an executive decision and scanned my color. She worked her magic and upon testing the mix decided she didn't like it..... Something about reds and greens being wrong... Looked brown to me.. She added this and mixed it and still didn't like it. Still brown to me.... Added something else and tested it again.. Closer I guess but she still didn't like it... so back to more of something to the mix.. Meanwhile engaging in friendly conversation.. no frustration just smiles. The next attempt yielded shat she seemed to like and I couldn't even tell where the test spot was. If I can't see it then it must match, right? A job well done by an outstanding company representative!! Sherwin and Shannon... I'll be back! Oh, pay attention or you'll miss the driveway and have to pull a pretty good maneuver AND a U turn to get back!

Do not bring your spray pump here for service. Contractors already spend tens of thousands of…read moredollars in order to keep places like this afloat. I agreed to pay the hundred dollar deposit and then the additional fees for repair Josh wanted to charge me an additional $300 simply to store my pump in their shop. With the cost of living already being so expensive in San Diego it seems places like this are insensitive to the fact. There are several other reputable shops in San Diego that you can go to to troubleshoot and make your repair on your pump. DO NOT BRING YOUR PUMP FOR SERVICE HERE

We logged in to the Sherwin Williams website. They had a ton of colors. I love that they really test their paint. They sold me long before I clicked over, looked at the color or even stepped food in the store. They invest in making sure the color will hold up. That the paint will last. That's what I want and need. Any way. We looked on line. I did the preliminary elimination of colors. One thing I loved is they had "wellness" colors. Colors that promote strong mental well-being, yes I need that. Heck don't we all. And for a $100.00 or so. I will invest that into me and my home. I asked for some color chips to be mailed. I also wrote down the color numbers. Since we were soooo inspired, we couldn't wait for the paint chips. We just drove the whole three miles to the nearest store. Looked at the colors in person. That's when we met Clarissa. Holy moly! This girl rocks! She got our sample colors mixed for us. And with out skipping a beat or customer service she helped two co-workers, a guy on hold and reminded someone else of something. She was so fantastic TallGirl tried to recruit her to her company. But she said she loves where she works a and they give them great training. Unfortunately, my experience with the " Manager Rob " (customer service) was not what I had hoped for. The "Manager Rob" I spoke with was very defensive and insisted that the color was correct, but the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. While I understand that misunderstandings can happen, I was disappointed by the lack of patience and willingness to address my concerns. I believe that a more considerate and understanding approach could have helped resolve the issue more effectively. These Custom aerosol spray cans are NOT inexpensive. Maybe "Rob the Manager " could learn to handle customer service with more professionalism and courtesy.

Sherwin Williams told me to try their main store in MG, they may carry it there. I went there and the two sales guy told me to try Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I had asked about Venetian Plaster type of paint and it seems obvious that they have no idea what I was looking for. They told me they only carry house paints at SW. Uh..limewash and Venetian types are considered house paints. Home Depot carries limewash paint online but I was hoping to be able to see and select the colors in person. I kept missing Benjamin Moore Shilpark Paint because of my available weekends hours. I finally called them during the week and J answered, told me they do carry limewash paint in store! I took off work early and rushed over before they closed. To my surprised, they do carry limewash paint! J told me that I can customized any colors I want and that there are different types of paints (limewash or mineral wash) depending on the types of surface I was working on! He was extremely helpful to me and the other customers at the stores as well, all awhile assisting customers over the phone. I noticed he was operating the store front by himself and was attentive to all who walked in. Thank you J for helping me to finally put an end to my search. You don't know how much my family appreciate the paint to complete our project at home. Our walls look beautiful now!

Over 10 years ago, they were kind enough to leave the old paint can in the garage. It was completely dried out of course. I called ahead to check to see if they could paint match, she confirmed they do but they need a large enough sample to scan. She asked that I bring the can in and they will determine if it can be done. I walked in handed her my can she took a look and the dried paint on the lid was enough for a good scan! She was very knowledgeable without even looking at the label she could already tell what finish it was and type. She did warn me it was 10 year old paint and they could get it as close to the color as possible. I knew it would be far fetched to match exact but I will eventually will repaint the entire kitchen later on. I just needed enough to cover up wall patches. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes! Quick scan and my paint was created! Such an easy process! She even provided a 10% discount. I just painted the walls and it's a spot on match! This exceeded my expectations!

Whenever I go I have a great experience. call ahead of time to make sure they have space to take your paint. Go inside and tell them you'd like to recycle your paint. They had you a cart. Load your paint and take it back inside and you're done. SUPER EASY! Cameron helped me last time I came in. He was awesome! If you need to recycle paint, come here! It's free and super easy!

It's a free service that D&E offers but the Poway store had not yet replaced their Color Advisor. We called and made Appointment with the color advisor at the Miramar store, but they welcome walk-in as well. Our color advisor, Javanah, was very friendly and had the patience of a saint. We explained our objective and she took the time to look at pictures of our house as well as offering color options. She understood our goal well enough to explain why one color option would work better over another. Her suggestions where right on, and we are really happy with the way she helped us.
