I was told this location was the nicer of the two in the area...I'd hate to see what the other one looks like. The store itself was definitely trying. However, the majority of the customers made it seem pretty trashy. The fruit and some other produce were past their prime. The parking area was nice and had a covered lot. I have always loved this store since almost forever. Well lit, clean, well stocked , variety, a Starbucks inside, a cheese stand, and great employees. The parking area is shaded, and in the summer, we sure need this. There's a large wine section A bakery, too. A section with kitchenware also. For whatever season, they change out some of the plates and dishes. Right now,red and blue gingham patterned dishes , a strawberry shaped bowl and white side pieces. Perfect for that summer picnic vibe. I live not too far from this site and will be back again soon. read more

Have been a faithful shopper here since 2011, until today. Today I have had enough and the reasons are this.... Price gouging. Went to buy eggs today and they are over $6.00 per dozen. I understand that food prices have gone up over 12 percent since this new administration took office but Fry's has been raising prices on core items above the normal and their eggs are the most expensive now. Aldi's in Buckeye sells eggs for $2.95 per dozen and the Aldi's on Estrella Parkway sells them for $3.85 so why in the world why anyone want to pay Fry's crazy price gouging prices? It's a decent enough store, and I've never had any issues with things being out of stock or unpleasant service. However, I visited today for the first time in months, and I was delighted to find that they had added a small Murray's cheese counter! I'd never visited this location. I really like it. It has solar panels out on the parking lot so it's basically covered parking everywhere. Which you know in Arizona is a huge blessing during the summer. I was looking for a few things. They had everything. The Starbucks, the flower shop. And the great deli. I was able to find exactly what I needed right away even though I'd never been there. The staff was great as well. I think quite a few of them greeted me just in passing, which I can truly appreciate. I think I will definitely drive back here for groceries. Less crowded even at 11 am on a weekday, unlike the one closer to me, that always seems to be a mad house but does have everything as well. The trip is not bad, a few extra miles down the road on Yuma and Sarival. I like the neighborhood. Plus Target is right next door so, I can always come for my groceries after my target run. read more

LONG LINES!! They no longer have cashiers so the self checkout lines are a 10 to fifteen minute wait! Rude employees! Also the produce department has really gone downhill. Not fresh produce. Paige in money services is racist would not cash my check and then said it was because the check said original. I went to fry's on McDowell & Dysart and my check was cashed. I'm not sure if it was because she was racist or being prejudice to my attire. If it wasn't for the other fry's I'd probably never use frys again. When ordering a customer cake my parents wanted a dinosaur cake, and you know what we got, we got a jungle cake instead with elephants. They were also supposed to write happy birthday insert name and they did not. When asked the writing looks like a toddler did it, and this cake was almost $22. Do not order your custom cakes at frys because then they will be complete different than what you asked for and a whole disaster. We ordered well in advance and was given a completely different cake, with no remorse or any resolve of what to do when the party is today. read more

When I first moved here 8 years ago - this store was great. It was well run, well staffed and clean. Now - I hardly go except for one or two items and the pharmacy, mainly because I live one block away. The past year this store has taken a nose dive - management and staff turn over is high, it's dirty, not stocked and the worst part - every employee looks miserable. Hearing how the management speak to not only employees but customers is horrendous. I'm not sure what is going on, but it's not working. The pharmacy... well it's not all that great either. During this Covid 19 pandemic, I am so impressed with this Frys store, in Goodyear, Az. Since this nightmare began, the employees of this store have been amazing. It's been 5 weeks, and anytime I have come here, the employees are so nice to me. Always smiling when you talk to them, never hear anyone complaining. They organizeD the early openings very good. They are always trying to keep restocking, but I know it's hard, always running out of the most needed items, like every store. Store remains clean at all times. I'm very thankful for all the employees here, putting themselves at risk of catching the virus, making my family's life a little easier. Thanks again, Mike, a very happy customer. read more

Just had an employee at self checkout Dennis I think was his name be very rude. I moved the bag that had the blueberries and bananas in it to the top shelf and he kept trying to say I didn't scan something and implying I stole something. I'm doing Instacart, if I don't scan stuff I don't get my full pay. I told him multiple times to check my items since he didn't believe me he kept refusing yet kept harassing me and then wanted to just stand there staring at me. I don't know what his issue is but he is not God and he needs to get his act together. read more

This store was once great 10 years ago. Now you have to check your receipt before you leave the parking lot. 9 out of 10 times there is a mistake, always in their favor. See pictures. Bought a gallon of organic milk from the front register area. Got home and found the "sell by date to be 9 days past. I can understand 1 maybe 2 days past the sell by date but not 9. So......... bought the milk at7:15 pmI called the store at 9:17 and spoke with the "store manager" was told she had been off the last two days and was not responsible. Ok, I get it, but that means she was there the first 7 days it was past the sell by date. Our conversation ended after only 4 minutes because I could not take her blaming the stock person, the workers, the fact she was not there for two days and it was somehow NOT her responsibility. She is the manager, responsible for all that happens while she is there. After thinking about this, she is accountable not just responsible. The FDA sets the sell by date to protect consumers. It is not just some arbitrary date that has no meaning but has been proven to be a safe date that a product can be sold by. 9 days past the sell by date is inexcusable and such a "whatever attitude" is completely unacceptable. I would shop anywhere else till they are inspected by Maricopa health department again. FYI been in the Food industry for over thirty years. PART TWO: Today is 10/31/16 I went to Fry's today to return me gallon of milk. The young lady at the customer service was so understanding Agreed this is how people get hurt. My review is concerning the Fry's pharmacy located at 16380 West Yuma, Goodyear AZ. The way things are being handled in the pharmacy is, in my opinion, a tragedy waiting to happen. Recently, my doctor sent several prescriptions to this store (on 12/6/2021) & I have yet to be able to pick them up (as of today, 12/9/2021). When I called to find out about the 'scripts, I was placed on hold for 30 minutes before the pharmacist answered. He told me he was the only employee in the pharmacy, dealing w/customers, answering phones as well as dispensing the prescriptions. This is certainly a distraction enough that he may just have issues in filling prescriptions correctly! Is Fry's waiting for someone to be severely hurt (or killed) because they received the wrong medication or dosage? This issue certainly needs to be addressed ASAP before this happens! read more

It's 2020 and they don't accept Apple Pay. I will repeat, we're heading into 2021 and this Fry's location refuses to take Apple Pay. The Starbucks inside doesn't accept Apple Pay. If I remember correctly it was Android and google who have had numerous security breaches. Yet they still take those forms of payment. Just not Apple Pay. If I could give this a zero stars, I would. Came for some ice cream and wine coolers with my boyfriend. They asked for both of our id's while paying. I left mine at the house because I wasn't driving or paying for anything and this was a quick little stop. Mind you we are both over 30! (31,33) Wouldn't let us buy the wine coolers because I didn't have my identification on me. I was told everyone gets ID'd when buying alcohol even though I've had my kids with me when buying wine for dinner. So do we ID children too... Um had I'd just stayed in the car and my boyfriend got everything, would he have been treated differently.Yeah, make it make sense.... I ordered my groceries Wednesday night for a Friday pick-up between 4-5 PM. After waiting 15 minutes for a parking spot we called only to find out our order was not ready and were instructed to come back at 6PM. I went inside the store to complain to the manager and she went to the back to find our order. She came back and told me our order was now ready, hmmm. Now we had to get in line again to wait for a spot. This is ridiculous! Do not order groceries from this store, they cannot meet their promise times because they are severely understaffed. This Fry's is pretty cool the staff is great and all that good stuff, but the infrastructure is failIng in a bad way. A couple months ago there was an unbearable smell of iron it lasted for about a month. What I saw yesterday takes the cake, a complete embarrassment and probably many health code violations. Just so everyone can understand the amount of garbage that was now in the store I will recap, this area there are still many farms and lots that are just dirt that allows dust to pick up. Then you have birds and other animals that make nests on roofs. So when it's been a few months since there was rain all of the garbage from everything that accumulated over the months ends up coming inside along with the water. So any bird poop stuff from birds nest and rodents also comes inside the smell was so bad that I couldn't bring myself to buy anything even if it was packaged. read more

Today at 11:20 AM in checkout 9 I asked Josephine if the gas rewards card was the same as the shopping rewards card. I had to repeat myself 5 times because Josephine would talk over me. Her attitude was apparent. She didnt answer my questions... because I couldnt speak over her without it potentially turning into an argument. This is the grocery store where I do all my last minute shopping and if I'm able too go out sometimes get a bunch. I don't recommend coming to the store during 2-6 peaks hours most of the time lines for the registers are going to have a longer wait. Other than that they have a decent variety in organic to name brand non organic food brands. It is a bit on the pricey side if you do spend here use your frys card to save or use the app to connect it. ALWAYS DOWNLOAD THE FREE DEALS, if you don't you'll have to pay full price. The employees are nice and welcoming depending who you talk too. Some are new as well mostly anyone working near the front. And the Management is good understanding for the most part. The store layout as well is very opened many Aisles, different departments. Seven months ago or more they added a new section where now Frys now sells clothes. It's a good mix of Walmart meets Target kind of quality clothing. Not to mention they added solar panel shades to be environmentally friendly, prevent us and our vehicles from getting too hot Good Neighborhood Fry's Marketplace! read more

This is the worst Fry's I have ever been to on not having enough baggers EVER! It does not matter what day of the week, what time of day, any holiday....this location NEEDS to hire more baggers!!! They have about 3 baggers at the most at any given time...1 grabbing carts, 1 wondering around or standing in the corner and 1 who actually works. I do not work for Fry's and I refuse to bag my own groceries! This is a job that is implemented for a person to apply for, be hired for and paid to perform this task. This causes the lines to be out of control long, running into aisles and not allowing traffic to easily pass through. It is ridiculous! I got to this Frys 2-3 times a week. Every single time I leave happy. I do not know the names of the self check out ladies, but there is one who looks like she's in her 30s or 40s. She is the best! Always friendly and fast. No matter how busy she is, she always speaks to you. I appreciate her and hope her managers do as well. Also I know you all are not cleaning carts anymore, but the older gentleman who has done it this entire time during covid is a stand up gentleman. Great employee's! read more

I want to complain about this store. I'm pretty sure there are other people who would agree. I have had to bag my own groceries about 60% of the time. My biggest complaint is the wait at the Deli. They don't have enough people especially on weekends. They have 4 ladies making sandwiches, and 1 person taking care of slicing meat, and getting the prepared food. I was at Fry's Gas Station tonight for gas, I went to the window around 9 pm to buy Ice, I paid cash for it and had to remind Preston how much I gave him in cash since he was giving me the wrong amount of money back (less). I shop at this Fry's almost exclusively but I am becoming more disgruntled with this store. Yes the prices are great but almost every time I got to the store they are out of what I want. Having something on sale does not mean much when I can't purchase it. I also tried to use a coupon and couldn't because I had added a different coupon (less $ off) to my rewards card. I think they should honor the best coupon not force me to take the lower amount. I think it is time for me to branch out to other stores for a while. read more

Everytime I come here there's multiple people not wearing masks and they do NOTHING to correct that, despite the recording over the store speakers saying you need to wear a mask if you're in the store. If you care about not contracting COVID, I wouldn't come here unless they sell something you can't get anywhere else that you love, like I do. Seriously disgusting.
