The sandwich portions are generous and come with a small side portion and sliced pickles. The pulled pork comes without sauce and when we went, they only had spicy and blackberry sauce. As far as flavor, we agreed the pork was kinda dry but okay. I had the blackberry sauce, which I found runny and not so flavorful. My boyfriend had the spicy and said it was good, but the kick lingered in his mouth. My coleslaw was weak too. Overall, the location is perfect for this kind of meal. It's a reasonable price for what you get - sandwich, side, and drink. Probably great for local lunches, but we wouldn't go out of our way.

The meat has a great smokey flavor and is very tender. The baked beans have quickly become a favorite and the coleslaw is a close second. They offer huge sandwiches which include 6 oz. meat, one side and a drink for $7.50 or larger platters for around $11. They never keep me waiting long and they have many BBQ sauces to choose from including some interesting ones such as cherry habanero and blackberry. They are usually located around the corner of 7th Ave. and 44th St. in Marion behind Arnold's motor supply. So if you find yourself in the area around lunchtime it's definitely worth the stop!

Well, I guess my 500th Yelp review is as good a time as any. I don't eat potato salad, but I have to start with the potato salad because my wife loves Willie Ray's potato salad so much that I actually order it as my side just to give to her. So, I guess it's pretty good. I'm pretty sure I've had every entree at Willie Ray's. I think their best entree might actually be their barbecue chicken, but I also love their ribs. A lot of places make ribs that I think are too fatty. My guess is the ribs are the same before they go in the smoker, and the ones I consider too fatty just haven't fully rendered. Regardless, the ribs at Willie Ray's never seem too fatty, or too greasy. They're always cooked just right, and have a great flavor. The entree I get the most is probably the pulled pork. It's also very good. It's not as good as the ribs, but I usually go to Willie Ray's for lunch, and something about ribs just makes me sleepy. Their brisket is awesome, too. They seem to run out of that pretty quickly, though. If you ever go there and they have a side called chicken ro-mac, definitely try it. They don't seem to have it often. So, you don't want to pass up an opportunity to try it. Based on the name, and the flavor, I'm assuming it has Rotel tomatoes in it. Other than that, it's mac and cheese with pulled chicken. I highly recommend it. Anyway, I've never had a bad meal there, and I've had a lot of meals there.

The restaurant was clean and tidy while the dining area had that delicious smell of cooking meat that makes you drool. The food was delicious and they heaped the helpings onto my plate. It was just the perfect amount of food for me at that time. The ribs were tender and juicy, the burnt ends had a nice caramelized char, the potato was cooked well, and my corn was sweet as pie. If you haven't tried Bandana's before I highly recommend it

The variety of appetizers is solid and we almost always get at least two because it's so hard to decide. The pork belly burnt ends and cheese bread are regular favorites for us. The barbecue strangely enough is solid for a place that doesn't do it regularly. I usually get some type of chicken sandwich and the chicken is always moist and above average. The only "cons" I have. Sometimes the service can be a touch slow. This isn't super common, but has happened once or twice for us. Second: the kids chicken tenders just do not look appealing and my son isn't impressed by them. They're dry and honestly they'd be better off getting premade frozen ones cause these ones aren't great. The fries however make up for this ten fold as my son is obsessed with their fries. Otherwise, this place is solid. We recommend it to friends and family regularly and it's a great spot if you're wanting to try something unique.

Our server Izzy was super helpful in getting us started, but gave us enough autonomy to cook our own stuff and enjoy the experience. The dinner started out with Banchan, which consisted of a bunch of small dishes that would be passed around - among the veggies, bean sprouts, potato's, salad, miso soybean soup, etc., the kimchi radishes were my favorite. Upon request (and free of charge), they'll bring out seconds of whatever you'd like. Then, they come out with a variety of meats that we cook ourselves (with guidance if needed) on the grill in the center of the table. Among the many, the ones that stood out to me were the brisket, lemon pepper chicken, and the miso garlic pork collar. You will leave FULL and happy. 5 stars. Thanks MIX for a great night!

I reached out to Charles via email and got a timely response. He was upfront on cost-- how much was needed for a down payment and how much his minimum was. The entire planning process was painless. I had an event of about fifty people-- we had a two-hour serving window. Keepin Up With the Jones's food truck came about 90 minutes or so early to prep. The menu we had included: pulled pork, buffalo chicken sandwich, chicken bacon and ranch sandwich, cheeseburger, hamburger and popcorn chicken. Along with fries, baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad as sides. I am not kidding when I say everything that came out was great! Everyone was clean plate club. (And that is saying something. Those are some LEGIT serving sizes but the food was THAT good.) If you want reasonably priced, yummy food-- hire Keepin Up With the Jones's for your next event!
