I just walked in here at 11am. The owner of the place tells me he's opening late. He asks if I can give him 10 minutes to open up the shop I said sure no problem. I wait and I initially wanted to order a torta but he said he can't make them at the moment and didn't say why.. I said ok no worries I'll just get an açaí bowl I try to pay but then he says it's cash only. I'm just bummed because there are no signs anywhere stating it was cash only and I just felt like I waited for no reason & he couldn't even make the initial order I wanted. Today I went to this place and I have to say that it wasn't my favorite, I had better. The guy that is in charge was nice and had great customer service, but I had pico de Gallo which it was okay but the watermelon wasn't good anymore. I had a beet carrot and orange juice and they served with ice, it wasn't good it was like water. My husband got the green juice and they did the same, so I was getting ready to leave and obviously give them a bad review because of all the little not good things when the guys asked what did we thought about the juices so we had to be honest and let him know that we didn't liked and he apologized and made clear that he wasn't cheating by putting ice but he thought it was nice because the of the weather, but he said that he always ask to the customers if they want ice or not, he just forgot about it today... he also offered to make new juices for us but we didn't took them. Anyway the four stars are because they don't have restrooms but i will go back and see if they have fresh fruit this time. read more

I had come her even after hearing that the manager was rude and I was sorely disappointed with the management here. The workers are fantastic and super nice but The manager/owner took my order and completely ignored me when I asked a question. Came back and then wasn't fully listening and I asked the same question 3 times before getting an answer. After I got my first order of tostilocos it was missing peanuts and chacachaca, and I let him know. NOT A BIG DEAL. While I was waiting for it back he got a phone call. Completely ignoring someone else that came in. He put the phone call on speaker.. and it was a another manager from another store and they were completely talking crap about their workers Cussing and berating them. ALL ON SPEAKER AND IN FRONT OF THEIR WORKERS AND CUSTOMERS. Won't be coming back because of this dude. I can't stand terrible managers who treat their workers like crap. If I could do negative stars I would. It's been several hours since my experience & I'm still irked! I have been to the location in Campo. The service is okay there. But this Spring Valley location... UGH! So, I decide to give this location another shot after a bad experience the first time. I walk in after a busy 10 hour day at work. The guy behind the counter is on his phone. So, I wait. When he finally puts the phone down & he looks at me. Am I supposed to start ordering? I'm not sure because he doesn't officially greet me. So, I just start ordering. He starts to take my order. While I'm still giving him my order, he turns his back to me to serve up a different order that was ready from the kitchen. I understand multi-tasking but let me finish ordering or at least acknowledge that you're still listening to me. So, I continue to order...I'm mid sentence...& he tells the other customer to "pick up". After that other order is picked up by that customer, he has me continue but he interrupted me AGAIN to serve up ANOTHER order. I knew I should've walked out at that point but I was tired & I just wanted my fruit. I finally finish & pay. He looks at my uniform & asks me what I do. I tell him I'm a nurse. He then sees that as an invitation to give me his opinion about Western medicine. He tells me that going to school to be a nurse or a doctor is a waste of time and money! Ugh! I already paid. The kitchen was already making my order. It's not their fault that this guy is upsetting me. If I hadn't already paid & if I wasn't tired/hungry, for sure, I would've walked out! I couldn't get a word in because he kept cutting me off and talking over me. Dude, you don't know me! You don't know my story! He went on to basically say that the people I care for are a "waste of my time". WTF! He tells me his mother's side of the family are all professionals that have degrees. His father's side of the family make their livings on "instinct". He asks me who I think is doing better. He doesn't give me a chance to answer because he just keeps talking! He tells me he dropped out of school and didn't get a degree but is making millions of dollars. Shush! I don't care! Thank God, another customer walked in. I sat down to wait for my order & texted my husband about the horrible experience I was having. While the new customer was deciding on what to order, the guy behind the counter takes the opportunity to get my attention to continue to give me his opinions on professions. He related going to school for medicine to going to law school (time & money "wasted"). He told a story about a lady who raised her kids on the "straight & narrow" only to have them become "liars for a living" by becoming lawyers. Lucky for the new customer that was still deciding on what to get that he hadn't ordered & paid yet because he was a lawyer & overheard what BS this guy was spewing. The customer had a few choice words for the guy before walking out. The guy tried to back track but the damage was done. When my order was ready, the guy continued to talk about the lawyer that left stating "the truth hurts" while bagging up my fruit. Bro, just give me my fruit! I leave & what happens when we open our bag at home. THE ORDER IS WRONG! After all that, my order wasn't even right?!? I vent to my husband about the crap service & everything the guy said. My husband is a nurse too. He's irritated to the point that he wants to go back the spot. Like I said, I was tired & hungry so I convinced him that we just try to enjoy the fruit that wasn't prepped the way we wanted. & what happened? My husband got a stomach ache from the fruit salad!!! Came in the store at around 7:40ish because the family and I wanted to try a new place. We didn't find out until we were almost done with our meal that the place closed at 8PM. So thank you so much for serving us!! The owner(I assume) was super friendly and suggested the Ham Torta and the torta with shredded Brazilian beef in it. Both tasted absolutely flavorful and the bread was crunchy, but not too crunchy where it would be difficult to eat. The fruit smoothies actually tasted like FRUIT smoothies too. He also gave me a free drink made from the leftovers of the other drinks we ordered, which was absolutely so kind of him! The inside is pretty brightly colored. 10/10 would come back again for great customer service and great food. read more
