Came as a party of 2 on a Sunday at 2:00 PM. There were plenty of seats and it was quite empty. Parking: Plenty of parking available in the large lot. Ambience: The interior is vibrant and colorful, creating a cheerful and cozy atmosphere. It's a great spot to enjoy a sweet treat. Service: The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The staff let us sample the house cream before ordering, which was very nice of them. Food: Bionico - 8.3/10: This was an amazing medley of fresh fruits cut into perfectly bite-sized pieces. The portion was generous and the house cream was delicious, but I wish it had been colder. Summary: Fruity Loco is a fantastic spot for a refreshing dessert with fresh, vibrant flavors. Please come visit and try the Bionico!

Recommend the spinach chicken wrap as it is generously made with chunks of chicken, lettuce, tomato jalapeño, and melted cheese. Great Service!

Tucked away in a older strip mall next to Caesar's Pizza. Is a bright spot on Campo Road that needs to be highlighted. With a menu of cold treats to tasty tortas. It's an area I have lived in for years but just recently discovered Fruity Loco. It just shows you good things are just under your nose. You just have to look. On a lunch break, I wanted something on the lighter side. Working a long shift on a hot day. A burger or burrito would of been counterproductive. So the search was on. Luckily I saw Fruity Loco across the street. Upon entering, I was greeted with a friendly Hi and some familiar tunes. I already had what I wanted in mind; two large chamangos. Before you know it. I was in and out. A perfect lunch spot if your pressed for time. The chamango itself was delicious. Very hard to explain unless you had one. Let's just say it's like a Jamba Juice but hundred times better. With bits of chewy chamoy and pieces of mango. After I felt energized, satisfied but not weighed down. Overall, a great place for a quick drink and/or a bagel or nachos. Next time I visit. Going to try their tortas. Support local businesses especially the good ones. Fruity Loco is a bright spot on Campo Road you need to go to. Eat here.

My husband, Tj, and I LOVEEEE Fruity Loco and all staff! The owner Krystal is SO sweet and helpful! We love that this is a family business and you can tell they put their heart and soul into making these establishments perfect! One of the best smoothie places in San Diego and I was born and raised here. The atmosphere is colorful, the music is relaxing and the staff is always very nice. I go and get the same smoothies everytime. Honeydew smoothie with Almond Milk, pineapple smoothie with juice and Chamoy around the inside of the cup. Too it off with a turkey torta. This place is a hidden gem! The best I have been to by far. Fruit and veggies are so fresh. I got two drinks: fresh squeezed orange juice and the green drink. Both were amazing. I highly recommend the green drink, she put a little ginger in it to give it a bit of spice it was great. The gal working was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I went here to get a fruit salad and drink. Hands down the best fruit salad I've had in sooooo long. I sent my bf back three days in a row. I'm pregnant and asked him to get extra cottage cheese and he actually brought back the entire tub! He mentioned to the clerk that I was pregnant and having cravings for their specific cottage cheese and she ended up selling him the whole tub and even wrote a nice note on it for me. So sweet! I came here on 3/2/22 around 3pm. The service was so bad. The girl at the register looked so annoyed and frazzled with every single customer interaction. Not only that but I paid $8 for a SMALL fruit cup that didn't even have watermelon in it because they ran out. For some reason there is also a $1 fee to use your card??? Could've given them 5stars. I always come here after my nail appointments or when I'm craving a sandwich and smoothie. Sandwiches are always delicious.. Today, I had poor customer service from GISELLE. She kept interrupting me, made me feel rushed & pressured to order as I'm trying to read the menu, and make sure I don't order some ingredients I personally don't like anymore due to being pregnant. This place is truly amazing. I've been here twice so far and each time stellar service and even better food. Their in house made cream for the fresas con crema are amazing. By itself, a bit too sweet for me, but perfectly compliments the tartiness of the strawberries. And their elote in a cup is deliciously creamy down to the last spoonful. They're a bit of a drive from me, but now that I've found them will definitely start visiting more frequently. :) Can't wait to enjoy more of their menu!! read more

History

Established in 2007.

Originally started as a healthy juice bar which only served fruits and vegetables to help get people healthy and assist them in a dieting journey. My brother owned a super market in national city which catered to Mexican American products. A lot of the customers would buy chips, salsa, chamoy and other products from him. His customers would come to my juice bar next door and ask me to add fruits and vegetables to the items they bought. After some time the word spread in the neighborhood that i would add fruits, vegetables, and other toppings. I told my brother that this was crazy how I started selling more products that were not on my menu. My brother told me it’s ok, go ahead and expand your menu. My favorite is strawberry-pineapple but I tried the watermelon-cantaloupe that was suggested to me today and it was very refreshing! Can't wait to try more items on their menu. I have been here on multiple occasions and he has zero customer service skills every single time and is short and snappy unless he wants to start the conversation -- he went on and on about random shit like he used to be a crip and that he wants to become breathatarian. My wife and I went in for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised the quality of everything we got. I heard about the Elote from a friend and it was out of this world it kept me wanting more. This review is based on a delivery order through a third party service. I ordered an x-large mango agua fresca, an order of their aguachile verde, and a bag of salsa verde Tostitos. Unlike other reviews I've seen, I got everything I ordered. Everything was packaged with so much care too. Multiple bags to make sure nothing spills, utensils, straws, napkins, everything included. It really doesn't get better than this when it comes to delivery. The customization on the aguachile let me go a little wild so I added mango and extra camarones. I thought the mango would come in the same container but it was packaged separately in a bag. The quantity actually surprised me. I was expecting maybe a few pieces but it looked like almost a whole mango. The portion of aguachile itself felt a little small for the price, especially after paying extra for shrimp, but still okay. It came with onions and cucumbers but barely any avocado, maybe like three pieces. The flavor of the aguachile was not what I expected though. It wasn't very limey or spicy, it leaned really mild and didn't hit that craving. Most of the shrimp tasted fresh but a few had that fishy taste which kind of threw me off and ruined the experience a bit. The mango though, super fresh and really sweet. Now the mango agua fresca was incredibly sweet, like way too sweet. Even after letting the ice melt a bit it still tasted like straight sugar water and I had to add more water myself just to make it drinkable. I did like that it had real mango pieces and tasted fresh, but I want something light and refreshing, not something that feels like three cups of sugar. Overall, I really appreciated how well everything was packaged and delivered because that honestly makes a huge difference. I'd maybe give it another shot in person, but based on this delivery experience it was a little inconsistent
