I love going here because it's easy to shop and everyone is all we at so helpful and friendly. I get my liquid multi vitamin from here because it's easy to take. I also pick up additional supplements and snacks too. The variety of options that they have is great but not overbearing. I love this store. Its location is right on LaGrange road in the strip mall with the Panera Bread. I don't live in the area, but I do stop every five weeks or so (when I visit my favorite hair salon for a cut and color). I like the layout. I have been a loyal shopper at Fruitful Yield for over twenty years. A couple of days ago, I had horrible heartburn and wanted a natural solution. I asked one of the salespeople in the store (his name was Mark) for a recommendation. He showed me neat product with licorice as the active ingredient called Enzymatic Therapy DGL Ultra. It was reasonably priced and worked within a hour. I used it again yesterday, and it got rid of the heartburn quickly. A perfect recommendation, thank you so much! read more

This place is a little more expensive then I had in mind but it's worth it! There's a variety of foods, drinks, and body products to chose from. It's near by, and definitely has healthy foods. I was surprised to see how healthy their selection is. The service is FABULOUS they really zone in what you're looking for. I told them what my problems were: snacking too much and a sweet tooth. Very good natural food and supplement store, they are more affordable than others. They don't carry fresh fruits and or vegetables. highly push for the "NOW" brand, nothing wrong with that but they have a vast variety of healthy items. read more

I received A $5 OFF $25 purchase coupon for my birthday in early March. On 3/16 I went into the Lagrange Park store & made a $25.54 purchase, but the cashier refused to honor the coupon because the pretax amount was $24.98. The coupon did not state "pretax" & for a 2 cent shortfall an additional $11.99 sale was lost, & probabaly my future business, as I feel this was a terrible way to treat a regular customer, & extremely poor customer service. read more

This is a GREAT alternative to wholeFoods AND traderJoes! They have better prices on basic items and many items that WF does not carry! They have ORGANIC produce & Dairy/frozen plus lots of pet items. I have spent hours browsing their non-food items. Definitely a great place to shop and very friendly service!!! Interesting location full of healthy goodies, supplements, protein powders, etc etc. It's a small shop, but they fit a lot of nice options in there. Fruitful yield has a big emphasis on supplements, which I'm always into checking out. Their organization of said supplements, though, confused the heck out of me! They were semi- alphabetical, but then different brands would cut in seemingly out of order. If you were looking for something specific (which I kind of was), it wouldn't be easy to find! With such a strong emphasis on supplements I think this could be executed in a much better way. Food prices, and the protein powders (brands that I was familiar with) were pretty on par with what I see at whole foods or mariano's, but they carry some specialty items here that I hadn't seen before as well. Excellent location, very helpful staff and competitive prices. The selection is broad. I have purchased everything from dryer balls, organic cheese, sprouted grain pitas and wraps, organic hummus, toothpaste to lavender soap. There is much more there. As sad as I was that FY moved out of Berwyn, I guess it's for the better. Most of the employees are still familiar faces; they're all pretty helpful. Now they have 3x the space, so there's wider aisles and more room for new items. It's pretty impressive how their variety has grown. I mostly come here for things like spirulina and amaranth because they're cheaper here than at Whole Foods (and I can't find them anywhere else). I'm just glad I can finally walk around this place without feeling cramped or bumping into someone - gives me more freedom to wander around and try to take it all in. read more

I have been shopping at this store for some time, from the time it was at Berwyn till now in LaGrange Park. Now it has more space and more items to choose from. Thankfully, a few of the employees from Berwyn are now at Lagrange. One in particular who stands out is Krysta. Always friendly, helpful, and knows what she's talking about as far as what the store carries. As long as they have workers who go above and beyond, I will continue shopping there. read more
