They have every kind of bread/wrap/roll you can think of and an array of delicious goodies to put on it. They also have pre made ciabattas ready to be toasted, soups and hot meals like lasagne and cottage pie. You can sit down here or takeaway although its always fairly hectic so getting a seat might be difficult. It cost me 5 quid for my toasted wrap and it was SO DAMN GOOD.... We hit the Spar to have stuff in our hotel room, for when we get hungry between meals. And the Spar did just that! They also sell random things that you might run out of on your trip. This ended up being a great deal and we tried a Bordeaux blend that we never would have discovered. It was delicious! We had olives, focaccia, Tagliatelle Bolognese and a la dolce vita pizza. All of those were special and prepared with love I would definitely return to the wine cellar. And recommend it to other travelers.

If there is a queue it's worth the wait. I haven't had a Reuben sandwich probably since I left Canada in 2016 (Reuben's are American, but you can get them all over Canada too). Dark rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, dill pickle, and Russian dressing. It was delicious. Pickles aren't a staple on Reuben sandwiches, but I love pickles and was happy with this addition. It adds a nice little tang, along with the dressing. The soup was warm and delicious with a bright tomato flavour. Soup changes daily. Portions were quite large. I just got the soup and sandwich and when I ordered I wondered if it would be enough. It was. My tummy was quite happy after lunch here. I'll be back for sure. Or maybe I'll just order in, because they have free delivery in D1.

And they had all-sorts of tasty food on offer including a vast selection of Italian meats. Which seems to be their specialty. We were able to taste a green pepper crusted salami first, which was grand. So got ourselves some slices of that. They also had some tasty looking homemade mince pies on display. If I didn't have a sister who is a one woman mince pie making machine, I would have bought some. I look forward to returning regularly.
