While I was sitting there eating, they describe the business every day. Leo brings fresh food. Whatever he doesn't sell, he throws out. I drove the 10 blocks to where my restaurant was, sat out in front. Put my car in drive and drove back to El Chaparro That's how good it was and how friendly everyone hovering around Leo stand was. They thought it was hilarious that I came back. While I was there. Another street vendor came up with a dessert. I bought dessert from her while she was eating Leo's tacos. We politely let the cashier and the cook know because we thought maybe there was an issue with the meat. Instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, we were simply told, "That's how they sold us the meat." There was no concern, no acknowledgment of our complaint, and no effort to replace the tacos or offer another option. I understand that suppliers can sometimes send poor-quality products, but that's not the customer's fault. Good customer service is about taking responsibility for the experience you're providing. A simple apology and an offer to replace the tacos would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service was more disappointing than the food itself. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.

My food was out within 10 minutes and with a line they were definitely working. I always know the location is good when there's a line and people still coming in. I came in right after they opened at 6pm. The location is in a parking lot with no restrooms and places to sit. But looks like everybody was taking it to go anyways. Definitely a taco spot to try if in the area.
