Stay away from this unsanitary nightmare. First they try to pass frozen pineapple as juice. They blend it in their blender and who knows what they use for liquid. So when I said this was a smoothie and not a juice, I told them that I will take a fresh squeeze OG instead. In retrospect, I should have accepted her offer to give me my money back, but I really wanted to give this place a try. It has a cool vibe, but then I became horrified. As she cut my oranges in half to squeeze them, she purposely rinses her dirty hands over the halved oranges. At this point, I just took the juice and got the heck out of this vindictive, unsanitary place. I was completely grossed out! read more

Delicious acai bowl. I had the Hawaiian Dream sub blueberries for bananas. Very refreshing.

A staple of Venice boardwalk with quality food. Always fresh, healthy and delicious plus the new restaurant has an amazing vibe and epic graffiti on the wall. My go to is the pio pico wrap and green machine. I'm a local in Venice and will eat here multiple times in a week because the food is always yummy and the staff are always friendly. It can be busy there but you are never waiting longer than 15 minutes. I have seen a few unfriendly customers in here which is the madness of what Venice is but Nina and her staff handle these people with empathy and kindness. Nina is a true gem and a shining light sharing health and wellbeing within Venice. Definitely worth the stop as there aren't many affordable fresh and healthy places to eat on the boardwalk. read more

Best food on the boardwalk / acai in the world!! I love this place- it's female owned which is a major plus to me! Their acai is so delicious, with a multitude of toppings- including carame & peanut butter drizzles. Yum. Big fan of the vegan tacos, too- carne asada being my personal favorite. They have a rotating selection of cool drinks in the fridge- always something different to try! Thanks for the amazing service & food. read more

This place is nestled in the heart of Venice Beach which is already a win win. It's hard having dietary restrictions and being "normal" if you know what I mean. It's cool and hip street food but healthy too! I had the carne tacos and the Hawaiian bowl. They were both amazing. My 4 year old ate her whole taco (cabbage too!). Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I'm so glad that I found you guys! read more

There are tons of crap food in Venice. After walking past pizza, churros, hot dogs, etc I was relieved to find this restaurant tucked away. I had no intention of reviewing this place but my wrap was excellent so I feel obligated. I ordered the chicken club wrap which has: avocado, bacon, cheese, tomato, cucumber, carrot, purple cabbage, spring mix and a choice fruit, Potato Salad or Pesto Basil Pasta. I got fruit which was just orange slices. But who the wrap was great. And huge. This is my new go-to spot when I need something healthy on the boardwalk. They have a couple small tables out front but otherwise it's all take-out. read more

Amazing acia bowls and great customer service! Perfect for a cycling sesh. Highly recommend this place.

Came here on a whim because my coworker wanted a smoothie. We were out in LA on a work trip and decided to check out Venice beach before headed to the airport. Fruit Gallery was one of a few places opened on a Saturday morning - surprisingly. The place was really small - you can't fit more than 3-4 people inside the door and it took awhile to make your items after you order. I had a shot of the ginger, garlic, lemon cause I was under the weather.. it was a nice shot and helped build my immune system. I also ordered a regular açaí bowl.. this one tasted a bit weird. The açaí was thick, ice cream like consistency. I think they pre-made this and just scooped it out to serve. It is served with granola, bananas and honey. The taste was almost like a medicinal flavor and it loses the açaí taste. Not my favorite açaí bowl. Overall, one of a few açaí options on the boardwalk and had a few vegan/healthy options. read more

The Fruit Gallery has quickly become our favorite breakfast spot in Venice. My wife and I are both moving towards a vegetarian diet and the Fruit Gallery has so many great options from smoothies to wraps, all made quickly and by very friendly people. While it may look like a hole in the wall I can assure you that the food quality and time put into to doing it right is nothing short of five stars. If you want great coffee you can also just go next door so the location is hard to beat. Get a smoothie or a wrap and head down to the beach for a great breakfast or lunch in Venice. read more

Pricey as much as juices go in Los Angeles, but their smoothies and acai cups are so yummy! Great location off of the Venice boardwalk, and the wait can get a little long at times, as it's usually a one-man show. Fresh fruits and a clean belly feeling after sipping and munching on their products! Best bang for your buck? The acai bowl, hands down. read more

With all the pizza, burgers, and fried everything on the Venice Boardwalk, Fruit Gallery is one of few places to pick up healthy sandwiches and drinks. And they're really good! The people that work there are really nice and the sandwiches are consistently great. The prices are reasonable for what you get and you never feel like you need a nap after eating here. While it's not a fruit gallery inside, this is one exhibit you won't mind visiting a few times. read more

Every time I go here I'm always extremely satisfied and content with the quality of the smoothies, wraps, shots, salads or almost anything on their menu. The restaurant of the name may mislead consumers to believe they only serve fruit related menu items. But they actually have a huge variety of wraps and salads. On top of that they have smoothies and smoothie bowls which are awesome, filling and refreshing especially on a hot sunny afternoon on Venice beach. They even have healthy shots that customers can order. The food that they have here such as the wraps and salads are very good too. My favourite is the Turkey Pesto Basil Wrap which is $8.50. I enjoy the Acai or Date smoothies the most - they're aroiund $6.50 for a large smoothie. The place is kind of pricey but it's definitely worth it because they make it from real fruits, right in front of you on the spot. You can even get extra toppings on top of your smoothie, like granola, blueberries, raspberries and a bunch of other different fruits and stuff. This place sometimes takes a while to prepare your food or smoothies, but from my experience it's usually less than a 5 minute wait once you make an order. The staff is very friendly too. read more

Love loooove the wraps here. I usually get tuna or chicken because turkey tastes like sandwich meat. Pretty sure they're all actually sandwich meat lol. You can choose to get collard greens on the outside instead of a tortilla and it's pretty yummy. They do run out later in the day though. The smoothies are soooo good I love the Ugly Girl and Hangover. I hear the juices are pretty good too but I'm not a juice person so I haven't enjoyed them myself. But I'm just a hater. Service is super quick! I call in my order ahead of time during meal hours because they do get packed. read more

Great service. Nice people. Fun atmosphere. Clear view of the beach right outside. Very tasty and refreshing. The portions aren't big but they're filling enough. I would definitely come here again. Quick and easy for vegans and vegetarian. The granola has gluten in it, but there are lots of other toppings for anyone with a gluten sensitivity or Intolerance. read more

My acai bowl did not look like any of the pictures. It was like premade Frozen acai mix and was too cold, like sherbert ice cream. Not worth the price at all. It also was in this hard to hold plastic bowl. Not the large cups that are in the pics. read more

If anyone asks me where to get food in Venice I'll suggest a smoothie from this place! Ginger delight is my go to!

I'm absolutely in love with their Hawaiian dream + granola. It's truly the yummiest açaí bowl ever.. packed with delicious fruit. I could eat it everyday and often do. :) If you usually like ice cream, give this a try.. I'm a bit addicted! read more

My daughter was excited to have an Açaí Bowl- first time here and it is very small inside but very clean. The gentlemen working there were very nice and welcoming. We ordered two small bowls, they are $8 each and you can choose up to 5 toppings. Açaí was refreshing, the fruit was sweet and fresh, the granola and coconut flakes were crunchy and gave the bowl a kick. read more

The place looked really dirty and not well kept. From the outside looking in, it looked like it was going to be a really cute so it was disappointing going in. The place is tiny so it's not the kind of place you could eat at, you just order your food and go. The customer service was pretty bad. There were two people behind the counter, one was working really hard and the other was on his phone. It took like 10 minutes before they even acknowledged our presence. I got the Lean Green smoothie. It was ok. Kinda chunky and powdery. I was expecting it to be all real fresh fruit versus veggie powder. The consistency was chalky but it tasted ok. read more

The smoothie and wrap both taste amazing. Not too "grassy" like some smoothies can be. The wraps are the size of a newborn baby so if you're looking to split a meal, this would be a good option! read more

Are you people crazy calling this pricey?? My LARGE 'detox' drink was made fresh right in front of me for under $8! That's how much it should cost! It's all organic ingredients! The whole 'no ice' thing is super weird, I will admit. But I was just telling myself I was drinking the vegetables at their natural temperature and that made it ok. I'll be back for sure, maybe everyday even. I'm so glad I tried this place out, I really needed it! read more

One of my favorite spots on the boardwalk! At least one person in my office goes to this place every single day. We are hooked on their juice shots and green juice, their "Body Detox." They'll serve 16oz of green juice for $6.50 which is pretty good considering you'll get the same drunk for well over $10 anywhere else. They also sell great wraps! The wraps are like $7 or $8 and you get 2 wraps and a side. The grilled chicken one is my favorite. For those trying to do a cleanse, they sell you all the juices for $120. We've got our other offices hooked on this place too! read more

It seems I spend half my life wrecking myself and the other half repairing. And this is a great place to get that ohhh sooo needed Saturday morning tune-up. The Fruit Gallery offers up fresh juices and smoothies for those of you who should have declined when your friend asked the night before, "One more?" for the third time. I did notice they have a smoothie called the "Hang Over" but the girl behind the counter insisted I had a ginger shot. WOW! This is like drinking liquid fire. Wait. Wouldn't that be lava? Okay, they do not serve shots of lava; however I did enjoy a fresh apple juice as well. The only downfall is they don't serve the juices cold and there is no ice in the building. But when you're here you feel like you found a secret special spot. At least I did. I'll return...with ice. read more

Contrary to what the experts say, doing a juice fast is not "Easy". No, it has nothing to do with getting hungry and wanting to cave in. The problem is expensive, multiple trips to whole foods, getting enough variety, and biggest of all, cleaning the damn machine a few times a day (a 15 minute Pain in the neck procedure). After day 2, I was ready to give up, but thanks to Fruit Gallery and a few other places, I was able to cruise through my 10 day fast with ease. They've got everything green, red, and in between and some nice combos for variety. Fast, fresh and delicious! One minor issue (not a big deal unless you're fasting): Once in a while, some pulp was mixed in. On a regular day, I wouldn't care, but during a fast you don't want that (causes digestion to kick-in which can get you hungry). read more

This place has the best Acai bowls in town...when they actually have the ingredients. Nothing is more frustrating than trekking out, on foot, because Venice, standing in a long line, only to be told to "come back later" at some undetermined time, because they're "out" of what makes up 1/3 of their menu. This has happened 4 times already . I mean, they make wraps, smoothies, and acai bowls. It would be as absurd as Taco Bell running out of burritos. Also, even with the menu being so simple, my order has gotten messed up many times, there is a huge language barrier with the apathetic/lethargic cashier, who has, I kid you not, lost my card while ringing me up. Aside from the staff and supply issue, the food is really tasty and I hope they get it together. I would love to update my review. read more

I didn't think finding a place that offers vegan options on Venice Beach would be so hard, but alas it was. Thank you Fruit Gallery for giving us a place to eat breakfast that wasn't a super long walk from the boardwalk. Their smoothie bowls were delicious and reasonably priced. The fruit was fresh and our order was put together quickly. They had many diary free options to choose from which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and understood was vegan/dairy free meant. Hope to visit this place again next time we're in Venice Beach! read more

Haven't had smoothes, but I've had some of the healthy snacks here, such as tempeh wraps, and they have been OK. What AMAZED me was the raw vegan cherry cheesecake. I've had raw and vegan desserts before--this was the best I've ever had. Anyone who tried it would like it--simply delicious. The place has a happy feel with the...ahem...busomed girl behind the counter. read more

This place is great. Really quality prices and fresh juices, shots and smoothies. Love the service drinks and food.

I had the ACAI Smoothie made into a bowl. It was huge and still came in a smoothie cup. It really wasn't a bowl at all, just a smoothie with fresh fruits on top! It was nice and tasty for a smoothie but next time I crave an ACAI bowl, I'll just go back to my favorite bowl place to have a real one! Also, the street Fruit Gallery is on, perpendicular to the beach, is not super nice. There were flies all over the tables on the patio which made us want to leave right when we got our "bowls"! The staff was really nice and hopefully they can take into consideration some comments to make the experience better :-) read more

This place was tucked around a corner, kind of far down the boardwalk from where we were, but we heard it was the best. The acia cup was delishh, I want another one right now! It was healthy and so refreshing. The fruit was also fresh and perfectly ripe. Friendly staff too. read more

Affordable, healthy, delicious food on the boardwalk! Yes, you read that right. If you are in the mood for a smoothie, raw vegan food, or a delicious ginger shot - perfect for starting your day - come to the Fruit Galley. My favorite? The fresh baby coconuts. After you drink all the coconut milk, they'll split it open for you to eat the meat too. 4x the hydration power of water, and a meal in itself! read more

Perfect, quick, little, whole-in-the-wall, grab-and-go smoothie spot. They have healthy options and fresh juices too, made to order. They also had several raw-foods dishes that sounded delicious and creative. This shop is a hop skip and a jump off of Venice's boardwalk, so it's easy to get to. I like the smoothies the best because I am an absolute smoothie junkie, and am rather picky about them; often finding that when I want to get one when I am away from home, I have to withhold, as so many of them are loaded w/ sugary fruit juices (with added sweetener). This spot had milk alternative bases, as well as fresh pressed/ squeezed juices for them. They are the real thing. They have maca, acai, hemp protein... all the goodness that you really want and that is truly healthy. Yummy. I miss them and once again, wish they were in PDX. read more

After mini-donuts next door, I come here to get HEALTHY again. From wraps to refreshing smoothies, this has always been a great little place for a quick bite or drink. Plenty of clean, healthy choices with interesting combinations and things you don't get at any big chain joint. Reminds me of the little juice stands I've been to in Latin American - oh, yeah, they have Acai bowls too! Also a great spot for a break after a long bike ride. See if you can take a Ginger shot without curling up into a fetal position! read more

I would give them 5 stars if the ingredients for the wraps were 100% organic with raw vegan sauce options or if the prices were $1 less per item. The service is great, the menu selection is good, the prices are okay (relative to overpriced crap on the beach). On second thought, it's at least 4 stars. there's nothing this good in the neighborhood and the staff is awesome. and they have raw vegan brownie sides now:) read more
