One of the best cakes I've ever tasted AND laid my eyes on. I cannot say I have ever had a cake like this before. For the past year, I have been eyeing this cake for my recent 21st birthday. I think they are the most instagram-worthy, aesthetic, and unique cakes I have seen. I knew I just had to have one!! Staff: The process of pickup/ordering is really convenient with Frudeco. I was constantly in touch with Kelly, as he helped me figure out what I wanted and customize my cake. Also, I love how efficient they are in terms of scheduling, where many bakeries tend to require several days prior of ordering. When ordering you choose the size, color scheme, and what kind of toppings you would prefer. Pickup: Though they don't have a permanent location yet, when you go the address for pickup, they come out right away and hand you your cake. There is also an option for delivery. Cake: My cake came out absolutely perfect. I ordered a double small (which means two cake) to make the number 21. My color scheme was pink, purple, and gold with a preference for fresh fruit, macaroons, flowers, and chocolate. Now the true test was the taste of the cake. I can say for a fact that this cake was HEAVENLY. I have never tasted such a light, delicate cake! It tastes more like a fine pastry as opposed to a traditional cake. What is even more amazing, is the fact that each slice of the cake can have different toppings! It is literally an experience of its own. The cake lasted pretty well. I had it for two days before I cut it and it was still in perfect condition. It's nice to know that for what you pay for, you get a chance to enjoy all of it! Overall: I am HIGHLY impressed with the work by Frudeco. It truly made my birthday memorable and everyone that saw the cake was definitely blown away read more

I recently bought a dessert -bc it wasn't exactly a cake- and it was beautifully crafted and complemented my decor perfectly. The place is very cute and cozy, and the service was wonderful. Ordering online was super easy, and when I needed to change the delivery date two days earlier and switch the delivery method to pick-up, a simple call to their customer service solved everything. The woman who assisted me was very nice and efficient. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement. *I chose the coconut flavor and paid extra for it, but it didn't taste like coconut. *To be honest, I won't order again because it's a too pricey for what is essentially a biscuit with a lot of sweet cream. *Additionally, I recommend using a round cardboard base for the dessert, as the square base didn't look as nice and made it difficult to place the dessert on the table without it almost splitting into two pieces. read more

Wow! I've seen these types of cakes, actually nevermind it's called a cream tart (not a cake), on social media almost all the time, so when my girlfriend's bday was approaching I thought it would be a pleasant surprise. It is truly an art, I'm not good with baking so I can't imagine how delicate this process can be. Besides the presentation the cream tart was delicious. The cream was not too overpowering and the almond cookie was crunchy. My girlfriend and I truly loved it and we both definitely recommend this for any birthday or even non birthday celebrations since they have different designs. read more

To all cake lovers, my new favorite cakes are from Frudeco! As you walk in, you instantly smell the baked deliciousness. For the first time, I purchased a tropical fruit + flowers cake for a friends birthday. Everything about it I absolutely loved. The fruits were so fresh and it's not your typical fruit cake. After a wonderful dinner with family this spectacular creation came out! This was the most unique and fantastic birthday "cake" I have ever had. Besides being beautiful every item on and in this cake was delicious! From the chocolates to the macaroons to the merengues, beautifully sliced fresh fruit and berries and then the Oreo cream. Thankfully we had some to take home and since it needs to be eaten within 48 hours I didn't feel at all bad about having it for breakfast the next day. I mean it did have fruit in it:) read more

All I can say about Frudeco is WOW! These cakes are unique and delicious. Their attention to detail with the cream flavors and different toppings is truly amazing, and the presentation is more like a piece of art rather than a piece of cake. I ordered a cake for my mom's 97th birthday and what a pleasant experience. The customer service was awesome and just outright attentive. I placed the order a week in advance and someone in my household tested positive with covid, so I was going to cancel the celebration. I called Frudeco to let them know that I had to cancel the order and they asked if I wanted a refund and I told them that I would push the order to another week they were very accommodating and said what ever I wanted to do just let them know. Ultimately I didn't change the plan and they had the cake ready for the original pickup. Great experience they did exactly what I wanted and the cake was a hit delicious . I will definitely order from this business again. read more

Passion fruit cream is the way to go!! Do not forget the Yelp discount promotion!! I got my son the large number 5 tropical food + macarones + flowers, 1 layer of passion fruit and 1 traditional vanilla layer. The original idea was full passion fruit cream but after reviewing the I.G. pictures a little more and seeing most of the photos being vanilla I decided to ask for both. Vanilla is good but when compared to passion fruit on the same dish, vanilla becomes bland & boring so there is no way we go back to vanilla. I may try Nutella & Passion Fruit next. The cake came with 6 macarones that tasted pretty good & had powerful colors, purple orchid flowers, small white/dark chocolate straws and several sliced fruits. I would had like some merengue cookies on it but I was very happy with the outcome. First impression seems like a lot of apple but it wasn't apple. It was peach and mango. In my request I had asked for lots of red and orange. I was skeptical it would not last for 20 people like advertised but incredibly lasted for two days of party. Not bad for $150. Everyone had something to say about the cake and of course everyone wanted a piece. Great presentation and flavor! In addition, I purchased 3 of those extremely appealing looking oval cake snacks. I didn't really know what to expect. If it was mousse, pudding or just almond crispy dough like the traditional Frudeco cake. All passed the test. They go for $10.00 and the smaller round type goes for $7.00. 1- To my surprise, Ferrero was the best and felt like a moisty/nutty/crunchy/melty chocolate kaboom in my mouth. I didn't have high hopes for it but it impressed me for sure. 2- The Passion Fruit one besides being very handsome, has that great authentic flavor that makes it difficult to not be liked. It has that sweet & sour unique flavor in both the cream topping and the bottom sponge cake. It has other complementary flavory/ texture factors like the meringue type frosting and pearly gold little balls. Very good but not as impressive as the Ferrero. 3- Pistachio was let's exciting to eat after starting with such strong opponents but still had lots of pistachio flavor plus the little pistachio crumbles that added texture. The sponge was not as moist as the other 2 but not dry at all. I was happy with it as well. The small round Frudeco cakes go for $10.00 and the macarones 8 pieces for $16.00. Service was great. Andre was very pleasant at the counter and the First Lady I interacted with over the phone when making my order was nice as well. I usually hate special ordering something customer without actually talking to the people but Frudeco page is very organized and my experience overall was great. read more

I resent the photo March 26: I figured I'd swing by the cake shop early to take a look at the cake in case there were any issues I needed addressed. I went to the cake shop a little after 0930 and it wasn't open, although the sign on the door and online said they opened at 0900. I called and the person who answered asked if I could pick up the cake at 11 because there had been a power outage the night prior. In my mind I'm thinking if there was a power outage the night prior I would have gotten to work earlier the next day to fulfill the obligation I have to ensure my client's cake was finished on time. But I guess that just how I conduct business, which is different for everyone. I told her my event started at 11 and that required me leaving the event, in which I was hosting to pick up a cake, that should have already been prepared. Mind you my initial request was to pick up at 10:00 am because my event started at 11:00am. That same day I was emailed at 10:46 am asking if I could pick up the cake around 12pm I arrived to pick up the cake up at 1100 and the cake was in a box with the top opened, the lid quickly shut and hurried to my car. Once I arrived at the venue I opened the box to find half of a "cigar" made for the cake stuck on the back of the cake, it looked like a piece of a turd (for lack of better phrasing). It wasn't even part of the original cigar which was in place on the cake, so I was truly baffled as to why it was there. I digress. The whole cake ordeal was a mess and my chef whom had the food prepared by 11 (services on time as true professionals) was waiting to be paid making me looking unprofessional once I made it back to the venue by 1130. This company never offered to deliver my cake to the venue even though they were at fault for the cake being late. There was no sincere apology delivered for the inconvenience they caused. They didn't offer to take off any money toward this cake or future items, a free cookie, a water bottle......they offered nothing. This is why I do not like paying people for services upfront because they slight you on the backend. The bow tie of the cake was sloppily painted it looked rushed and last minute. I have included a picture below. I will never purchase any products from here again, anyone who knows what this cake represents I would suggest you do not purchase from here either. The lack of customer service I was provided could be for any number of reasons but it was unacceptable. After paying almost $600 for a cake you would expect a heartfelt apology, at minimum, for the inconvenience they caused during this celebration. As far as the cake is concerned, the attention to detail is great as it pertained to the insignia and other trinkets (outside the half made cigar I referenced and the bow tie which was sloppy). The taste of the cake was average, nothing that made you have to go back for another piece. To be honest I've had much better experiences with far less cost and better customer appreciation.

She has a cute little location in Miami Shores, and luckily for me, I arrived at her bakery just when she was just walking in. The minute I caught sight of her she instantly reminded me of some of those beautiful women you see in Monaco. Seeing her creations I immediately knew she was a master baker, she seems to specialize in anything that makes your toes curl. https://www.sarahluconfections.com/collections Her menu is loaded with cakes, cookies, flans, croissants, bars, macarons, loafs, and tiramisu etc. Menu: https://bit.ly/3ehx7dn Raspberry Lychee cake? Sarah asked me if I was going to eat them now, and I replied yes, so she heated them before she gave them to me which created the perfect palatial foreplay. I didn't expect the cookies to so big or I would have just got one or two lol They were like little mountains, but mountains of incredible goodness, rich in flavor, and light in sugar. This deliciousness melted in my mouth while creating a delicate and pleasing ensemble. "Sara I. - Texturally these are perfect. Crisp exterior thick rich moist interior without being over baked. Value wIse these are a steal. They're huge and typically a cookie this size with these ingredients should be over $5" --- I totally agree with this. Indeed these are the best cookies I've ever had. ~~if you special order she will bake organic cakes, I'm not sure about the other stuff, call and ask her.

Parking is available in the lot just south of the building, next door to Vegan Cuban Cuisine. The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the most incredible aroma of freshly baked cookies and desserts. I received a warm welcome from the staff and was well taken care of throughout my visit with samples and suggestions. Choosing what to order is no easy task. The display is filled with tempting cookies, bread pudding, cake slices, sweet breads, Rice Krispie treats, mini pies, and other irresistible desserts. I thought I had already made up my mind, but then they started offering samples, which completely changed my decision. In addition to their regular menu, they feature rotating seasonal and limited-time specials. They also serve coffee which is the perfect partner to their rich desserts. I ended up with the Coconut Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie, the White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie, and the Toffee Bread Pudding. Before visiting Cindy Lou's, bread pudding wouldn't have even made my list of top ten desserts. After just one bite, I had to order it. It was rich, buttery, moist, and unforgettable. The cookies were equally impressive, thick, soft, loaded with flavor, and easily among the best I've ever had. They are on an entirely different level from the typical commercial cookie chains. Thank goodness Cindy Lou's Cookies isn't closer to where I live, or I'd probably be diabetic. However I'll definitely be stopping back the next time I'm in the area. After all, a balanced diet is one cookie in each hand!

This shop popped up in my IG feed. I was kinda scared to order at first but then I saw all the beautiful work they have done. I went ahead and ordered. The cake arrived right on time, and they were super friendly on the phone. It totally surpassed my expectations. Beautiful and not only that, it tasted amazing!!!!! The cream was so yummy, the cookie part was soft and all the toppings were on point! I loved the colors they used (I sent a pic of my theme) and they made it a reality. Thank you so much for making my daughters birthday special. Everyone loved the cake and was raving about how yummy and beautiful it was. Will order again!!! read more

Stopped here accidentally on our way to find coffee. We were greeted right away and made to feel very welcomed. This place is decorated very cute and is very clean. We ordered an espresso and cafe con leche. Their food items looked so delicious we decided to stay for breakfast. I had the chicken empanada for an appetizer, it was so fresh and so flavorful we ordered a few more to take with us for our road trip. My wife ordered the croissant sandwich and I ordered the omelette. Both were very delicious! We are very very pleased with our decision to give this small business a try. If we loved local this would be a normal stop for us. read more

I am surprised at the fact that most reviews mention how great the cakes actually taste. I ordered one for my friend birthday this past weekend. They all look beautiful, on that I have to agree.
