This spot has been my go-to for years, mostly through DoorDash and a few times in person. I've even recommended it to friends and family. But the last time I stopped by during a walk, I had a pretty unpleasant experience. I noticed the online price says $12, which I hadn't really paid attention to before, so I asked Maddie about it. Her response was rude and unfriendly. However, I had my mouth set on a bowl so I still went ahead and ordered my usual, the Ultimate bowl. Every single time in the past, I've asked for a little granola on the side (because when it's delivered, the heat turns it mushy), and it's never been a problem. They've always given me a small amount in one of those little to-go sauce cups when I asked without an issue. But this time, Maddie tried to charge me $1 for it. I told her I just wanted a tiny bit on the side, and she replied, "Whoever gave that to you, it was out of courtesy," basically saying she wasn't going to do the same. Her attitude was off-putting. On top of that, the açaí bowl itself wasn't up to the usual standard. The fruit was hard and not fresh or juicy like it normally is. It's upsetting bc I love this spot but everyone VALUES customer service and they are slacking on it. read more

Another update: the BULLDOZER is my favorite protein shake here it's legitimately so good I order the sweet passion from them and it's so good every time. It's not filled with ice, it's smooth, it's not too sweet and it's so flavorful and the passion fruit flavor is sooo strong I love it. They just make actually good drinks that are consistently fire and you can tell they put good ingredients in it. Casual sounding employees and they seem to enjoy it. What people come for though are the bowls of superfruit. I like the Ultimate Açaí Bowl. It's $11.50 for a bunch of goodness. This is made with frozen açaí purée, and topped with almond butter, blueberries, chia seeds, coconut, granola, mango, and strawberries. It has some comfortable chairs and couches. Plenty of outlets. Great juice bar that I only learned about and started frequenting during the pandemic even though it's been around for several years. When I'm in the area, I always get their Mean Green smoothie which is made up of spinach, kale, mango, banana, blue agave, and almond milk. Just yum. I've also ordered the vitamin C smoothie for a family member and they loved that as well. Their salads are also good: chicken salad and quinoa salad. For those who are regulars, you can benefit from their rewards program where they punch a hole in the loyalty card for every drink you order that is medium or larger. Love this place. What puts it over the top is the fact that they use the freshest tastiest produce. The quinoa salad is simple but deciduous thanks to excellent avocado and carrot. I've only had my own interpretation of Avocado Toast, which is just toast, agucate, and Everything Bagel seasoning (amazing). But Fruces created a scrumptious bite. Toasted whole wheat with grains and seeds, with a slightly citrusy avocado spread. Customer service is terrible. They take a long time to make your drink or food ok totally understandable. I try to call ahead of time to place my order because I only get a half hour lunch break. They will stand right there and not answer the phone. I kept calling calling no answer so when I walked over here I called and literally watched three people just look at the phone ring. I will not be back here surely you know it's a customer calling and to just sit and watch the phone ring in my opinion let's me know my business is not wanted here. I'm so excited that this smoothie bar opened up in my neighborhood! Their smoothies are all natural without added sugar or anything unnatural. My favorite smoothie has avocado, passion fruit, and mango. They have a big selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, including ones you can buy. Their baked goods don't look too good, but maybe they will get better stock as they get more established. They also sell flowers and some dried health foods.
