This is pretty fucking good and not extremely expensive like many other places like this. Hard to find because the name isn't on the building. It was the correct place luckily for me when I came by. This is located on Broadway at 101st on the Upper West Side. Beware there's only room for a couple of customers. Order a smoothie or a bowl, and they make it fresh. It's about $11 for a bowl. The prices are decent. I had the Açaí Peanut Butter Bowl. This came with the frozen pureed açaí, and was topped with coconuts, granola, and peanut butter of course. It doesn't have any room for seating inside because it's such a small building. It's takeout only. That's okay because the Hudson River waterfront will only be a few blocks away and that's a cool place for eating bowls and such.

I'm really glad I stopped into this small, unassuming smoothie and juice spot. The smoothie was super flavorful, came out fast, and hit the spot. The space itself is tiny, but it has a great neighborhood vibe--people hanging out, chatting, and just enjoying the atmosphere. It felt very Harlem in the best way possible. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a quick smoothie or juice.

Uptown Juice Bar is alright with me…read more Was in the neigh for meeting at a local school and looking for healthy foods options. Some NYC neighborhoods can be bombarded with only fried chicken spots and if thats not your thing it can feel like a food desert. I was happy to find this gem. Ran by a pleasant Rastafarian the spot is cozy and clean. My colleagues and I entered shortly after he opened up. With all of us ordering multiple items and he as the lone staff member it could have created a bit of chaos but he handled the orders with ease. They have a number of fresh juice, smoothie and patty options. I went for the Restore smoothie while colleagues had juices and Pattie's. They raved about both the callaloo and salmon and was big mad I didn't take it to go. Prices are quite reasonable for the size and taste of the products. Support a small business and your health and visit Uptown Juice Bar. One love!

Low and behold, like the sun coming up in the morning, New Life Juice Bar's sinage caught my attention! "Health is Wealth". I pulled my car over quickly and double parked it like a drunk driver trying to avoid the police. I entered the establishment and was greeted by the staff while some good ole R&B music was blaring in the background. The establishment was clean and bright. I asked one of the staff how long they've been opened in this location and I believe it has been over a year. Cool, I said to myself: I found a local spot that serves reasonably priced healthy food. Prices generally start at 6.99 and up for everything. I included a photo of their diverse menu. I ended up getting a juice made of pineapple, grapefruit, cherry and celery. Along with a hot ackee and saltfish patty! Ackee and saltfish is the Jamaican national dish prepared with ackee and salted codfish. The ackee fruit (Blighia sapida) is the national fruit of Jamaica. It was brought to the Caribbean from Ghana before 1725 as 'Ackee' or 'Aki'. Anyway, this seems like a nice local business to satisfy your cravings (they have salmon, turkey, veggie and chicken burgers amongst a plethora of other items to chow down on, if the need arises!) Keep up the good work, y'all. I'll be back.

This might seem like a small mistake, but it was actually very upsetting for my child, who has autism and is extremely selective with food. He only eats cheese pastelitos, and when he bit into it and realized it was chicken, he became very distressed and started crying. I called back and explained the situation, and instead of correcting the mistake, I was told that nothing could be done. I even made it clear that I was not asking for a refund, I simply wanted the correct items that I originally ordered. This situation could have been easily fixed, and it was due to a lack of attention when preparing the order. I'm asking that you please take this seriously and do better with order accuracy and customer service--especially when a simple solution was possible. I would still appreciate if this can be resolved properly.

I also love their Kale Monster drink, but I forget the number for it on their menu. The staff is super friendly. If they're not related, they act like they are, which makes the relatively small operation seem really nice and intimate. They are so nice, and very fast. The drinks are a little expensive, but you can see the entire assembly process and it is clear that only real fruit is used, and no sweeteners. For that quality, I'm happy to pay, and it's still less expensive than other drink spots in the area. There are no chairs, and the standing area is quite small, but I actually love that because it means I don't have to stay in there with my kids while they drink their smoothies. If I did, they would surely be constantly asking for more kinds of smoothie instead of just enjoying the one they have. For that reason, I don't mind the small space being inconvenient for dining in. In the end, delicious, fresh, smoothies at a great price, with friendly staff :)
