My tween daughter really wanted to try rolled ice cream so this was the closest place I could find at the time. It was spur of the moment so I didn't have a chance to do my Yelp research beforehand. Upon entering, I thought it was nicely decorated and the employees were very friendly. My daughter picked a small original with strawberry mix in, cookie straws, and whipped cream. The total was a little under $11. I can't get over the extremely high price. There was only an option for small or regular but really they should also have a kids size. The small was way too much for her. Anything and everything (mix-in, topping, syrups) was an additional $0.55 each on top of the high base price. It was fun to watch them make the rolled ice cream and the finished product was super cute, but I won't be returning based on price alone. We might check out other rolled ice cream shops next time though.

Delicious, great customer service, and color changing spoons! I drove here 30 minutes and it was definitely worth the drive, they have so many flavors, toppings, and add ins.

Super cool way to eat ice cream!! It's like a fro yo place mixed with cold stone but they make the ice cream "spirals" in front of you. Tons of mix-in and topping options to choose from and they also have specials as well.

The decoration inside is super cool and feels very fun. I also love how all the ice creams are named after The Never Ending Story. The ice cream is super fun to eat and super tasty. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat!

I've seen many videos of rolled ice cream but didn't realize there was a location so close to me. There were SO MANY options for toppings and combinations. The staff at Frozen Spirals were very helpful, and the ice cream was really delicious. A really fun twist on traditional ice cream. I ordered a matcha ice cream with condensed milk and shortbread cookies. They made the ice cream right in front of me and added the milk and cookies as the cream started to freeze. I also topped it with hello pandas. It was a really fun flavor combination!

Wouldn't make a regular stop but it's certainly delicious. Especially when you consider the Starbucks across the street for a sweet treat. Or local schools within walking distance. I'd much rather of had this after school then a drink with a mermaid on the cup. Open for a year now so I figured it's time to stop in and taste. Went in Wednesday evening figuring we would have a bit more time to make selections. Also avoid a crowd of kids and families. That mostly worked out, it's a popular place even at the onset of Fall/Winter. Opted for the Matcha Madness with popping boba x3. Went all in! I expected a poo rock type situation but basically it's Boba meets Gushers. Partner did a original (vanilla) base with bananas, butterfinger, and coconut toppings. One size cup from the pre-made or custom menu. For an evening treat I may suggest sharing it with your significant other. Maybe in future they'll release a smaller half portion size. Owner was extremely nice and helped out on the production line. We were waited on but an extremely patient and cheerful young man aware it was our first visit. Will certainly be back and with numerous friends!

After waiting 30 minutes from time of ordering, we witnessed two guys go in without masks talk with their friend behind the counter. The two "friends" proceeded to stick their head over the glass where our ice cream was being made to talk to the employee. The employee brought our first ice cream out and we asked him to ask the guys to step away from where our food was being made. He went inside and sarcastically yelled at his friends to step away. They did go outside. I didn't want to write a bad review because I know how hard it is to be a business but this needs to be addressed. I will happily take down orthis review if I see that a training has been put in place to prevent this from happening again in the future. ****UPDATE**** I was not contacted by anyone representing the company but I was harassed by a few different Yelp accounts because of my review. I've attached screenshots.

I am so happy I found this place! It is such a unique twist on a classic dessert. They have many signature options to choose from or you can create your own! We chose monkey business and mint to be. Monkey business was banana and Nutella while mint to be was a mint Oreo and chocolate sauce. You also got to pick one complimentary topping, yum!! They were both delicious, the mint to be was richer than the monkey business. It's so fun to watch them "make" your ice cream. My favorite part besides the delicious ice cream was the spoons! They have color changing spoons which I love since I'm still a kid at heart. The little details just make your experience so much more special and unique. I also think this is a local family owned small business, which I love to support. I believe both the owners were working when I visited. You need to try this local ice cream shop and support your community in the process!

I cannot believe how highly this dump is rated. Skimpy and a cheap knock off of ICENY (rip) don't waste your time or money here. I ordered a Cookie Monster, see picture. It's supposed to have every kind of cookie including Oreo and chocolate sauce which neither appeared in my dessert. There's supposed to be chocolate chip cookie crumbles and as you can see, barely a sneeze of cookie made it into this "confection". My wife ordered the mangoberry and got a singular slice of mango. Weak, expensive and incredibly disappointing.

Hardly ever open, by far the most expensive way to buy ice cream. Kids said the felt ripped off because there's hardly anything in the cup.

We stumbked across frozen splits by accident tonight and boy are we glad we did! The ice scream was so delicious, I'm usually not an ice scream person, I prefer a tart frozen yogurt and/or anything without artificial flavoring. I ordered a pineapple delight that was so flavorful but not overpoweringly sweet, it was a perfect combination of pineapple, mango and coconut flavors. My daughter had the s'mores one and was beside herself with the attached roasted marshmallow on a stick. My husband enjoyed the matcha madness which included pieces of mochi. We live pretty far from this area and are already thinking about our next visit here. read more

The staff was very sweet and you can tell this is a family-owned business just by the decorations and interactions with the staff. Rolled ice cream is a labor of love, so even if it is on the pricier side of frozen desserts (~$7/bowl), I feel this place is worth the extra few bucks. The flavors sound really amazing and I'm excited to return and try others (I got the mint Oreo flavor this first time). I appreciate that they let you choose 3 toppings on your base ice cream! read more

Yum! Not only was my dessert delicious, but it was really fun watching the process of the rolled ice cream being made. We got the monkey business and a "make your own" with the coffee base and caramel sauce. So creamy! The fresh banana ice cream with Nutella was my favorite. They have roasted marshmallows as a topping that made the dessert even more tasty. It seems to be a family business, and I am happy to support them. Really nice folks. read more

I really enjoyed this experience. It was everything I was expecting and more. My boyfriend and I came here after dinner and we really were impressed with the whole process. At first I thought 6.99 was a bit much for ice cream but it was worth it. We actually split one and were both very satisfied. Finally roll ice cream north side of Denver that taste good, the reason I like to come here because they use all real fruit for the flavor not some flavor extract, the staff is friendly and they will guide you on how it work and I see when they have line they can move quickly also unlike other roll ice cream place where I have to wait 30 mins to get my ice cream, came here for their grand opening day and been coming here almost every other week now read more

Great place and great ROLLED ice cream. I've tried their Strabella (Strawberry and Nutella). You wouldn't believe how GOOD it was. Staff is very friendly, owner came up a couple times to make sure I liked what I ordered. The girl rolling the ice cream even went as far as to draw an awesome image on my pre-finished rolled ice cream. The place is very clean. Outdoor seating and indoor seating is also appreciated. read more

An indie ice cream joint where you can watch them freeze and roll your ice cream right in front of you and that's after you've chosen up to 2 different things to be mixed in the dessert as it's rolled. You get up to three toppings after that. I got a toasted marshmallow as one of my items and it actually came out toasted on a stick - just like a campfire. The owners are friendly, fast, and proud of their little shop. They should be. It's incredible. read more

Stopped in today to try. I loved watching them make the ice cream and how they roll it. Next time I go I want to try the chocolate base with bananas graham crackers and either Carmel sauce or toasted marshmallows. I think adding any of their mix ins to any base would taste great. Love it! The locations easy to get to and they're always cleaning. It's just nice to know they care about that. The fresh made matcha ice cream is to die for. The flavors are more prominent than regular ice cream places. For those with texture problems in food beware of the mix ins! They can cause the ice cream to be less smooth. read more

I had the Nutella one and this was my first time at this sort of ice cream place. It was a bit expensive and wouldn't do it a bunch but highly recommend every so often! The ice cream was great both when it was very cold and as it melted into a more ice cream type solution. read more

Our family has been here a few times since they've opened... tonight we stopped in to treat our baby boy on his 3rd birthday! The sweet lady taking orders heard us talking about his birthday and must have passed on the info to his ice cream maker because he drew him a cake on his ice cream as he was mixing it up! We loved the personal touch!! But it didn't stop there- after we sat down with our treats, they brought him out a happy birthday balloon and he was just thrilled! The ice cream is great, the place is clean, the staff is outstanding... definitely recommend this place! read more

My new favorite place in the neighborhood! I found this place stoned and hungry. I like the elder couple, the way the ice cream is made is interesting, and it taste amazing!!! i came back sober and it still tasted amazing! So much fun! We had never been to(nor heard of) this little ice cream shop before but stopped there one weekend night on our way home from a high school foot ball game. Staff was very friendly and helpful as we made our selections and we were then entertained as he "drew" a picture with our toppings and then mixed it together. Very tasty and fun experience! A mark up higher than diamonds! I had to try this place...it was recommended by a coworker. No more than 50 cents of ingredients sold for $6.99! Its ok....but not more than that, and certainly not worth $6.99! Novel idea, but stick with a traditional ice cream place for something tastier and with a price tag more palatable! read more

Really cool place! I liked that it was really simple to order (even with a massive menu) and then you can watch them make it! All of the staff was really friendly, and there was no wait but always people coming in! I got the monkey- which had banana and i love anything banana flavored! I would not recommend this place. This was my families first time going in. We are fully vaccinated so we usually don't keep masks on us. So we did our order outside which is fine. They brought three of the orders back to back to back out. But then my fourth one didn't come out for about 12 minutes. Leaving me and my child even wondering if they remembered. The customer service was crap. And I have had a better rolled ice cream for Way better prices. You're better off going to Dairy Queen read more

what a fun concept! although I have had more flavorful ice cream this is a neat place to get a pretty treat that is fun to customize and watch being made. great for kids of all ages. I had the "say cheese" and my mom had the coffee one thought I don't recall the name. I preferred her flavor combinations but regardless it was a good experience. I would say it is a bit pricey at $16 for two people though and there are no size options so be prepared for that. Room for improvement but ice cream is supposed to be a light hearted treat and this is definitely that. read more

Quite disappointed. We were really looking forward to trying the ice cream. Better have your mask! We didn't have ours because most places are not requiring masks, but you can't enter without one... vaccinated or not. Showing vaccine papers doesn't work either. No mask... no service. So we went across the street instead and had ice cream at Culver's. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff create a welcoming environment and the ice cream is delicious. It is all homemade and the mix-ins allow you to make a unique desert every time. The experience of seeing the ice cream being created is like no other. Awesome time here. The ice cream is fantastic and the entertainment factor of it is great. It wasn't busy or crowded when we went so easy to enjoy the space. The flavors really come out in this ice cream. The workers were fantastic and helpful. Overall worth it for an outing. Not some place I would go consistently because of the price. I Waited 40 minutes and there was hardly anybody. Looked like they forgot about the order. Other people got their order before me and paid after I did. The own manager wasn't wearing gloves while cutting the fruit and handling the mango which was disgusting. Told the employees to put his mask on then two minutes later he puts it under his nose again. Also they don't clean the trays after making the ice cream and little bits gets into your ice cream. Imagine that being mixed into your ice cream really disgusting. I'm pretty sure it's under new owners and they need to look into this if they want to keep their costumers. I'm not going to this place any longer. read more

We were so excited to try this place based on reviews. Went on a Monday night. I was overwhelmed with the choices and wish I'd studied the menu before coming and this isn't like me! We bought slices of the apple, cherry, and blueberry cream cheese. These were perfection and absolutely delightful. I was totally focused on the strudel case (yes, there's a lot of strudel on offer), but I believe there are eight huge cases of treats, each one looking more enticing than the next. Quite a few gluten-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free options are available, so if that's what you need, this is the place for you. The bakery was moderately busy during our visit. There was plenty of staff and they were all friendly, helpful, and very efficient, so purchases moved swiftly. Lots of coffee and drink options are available. I unfortunately didn't get any photos of our ice cream, but honestly, that might have been for the best. We sat there quietly enjoying it, smiling ear to ear with every bite. The shop was still decorated for Christmas (we visited during the first week of January), which made the whole place feel magical. The lights, the festive atmosphere, and even the slide inside made it such a fun and memorable experience. This spot is an absolute must-visit, and I can't wait to make it part of our tradition every time we visit Denver.

We shared a large Cinnamon Toast special that came with a tiny portion of bread (~$9?). It was pretty good. I wonder what the up-charge on the ice cream is from the local shops. I'd rather just go to those shops directly but I think this is good for people who don't want to make the commute to the specific creamery or for out of towners who want a variety to try and have limited time.

I finally woke up early to come here and order a small bag of pastries - specifically Cheese Danish, Apple Fruit Diamond, and Bear Claw. I took them home to enjoy with my coffee. Plenty of parking in this strip mall lot. Customer service is great. My favorite pastry was the Bear Claw, which one of the staff members recommended. The Fruit Diamond was delicious as well. I thought I'd like the Cheese Danish more than I did, but it was only okay. Next time I'm getting some of the larger pastries to split. Great place to stop by before heading into the office OR hang out here. There were quite a few people in the weekday morning crowd just chilling at one of the many tables in this surprisingly large bakery. Can't wait to try more!
