This is my Carmel Sunday with Heath Candy bar on it. This is after our 2 minute drive home. The napkin is soaked with melted ice cream

Just went to this Dairy Queen and we're shocked that they would serve melted ice cream. We ordered a Carmel Sunday that was more like a ice cream soup. I opened my lid and ice cream spilled out everywhere and it didn't even have any ice cream above the cup line. A peanut buster parfet that was as runny as water. This location has gone down hill with the lack of caring for their customers. We go here for a treat every weekend. It is not worth it anymore between rude employees that you get at times and wasting money on deserts that are bad quality. We will start going back to the A West location as their employees have never been rude and we have never had issues with the quality of the products. I suggest people do the same.

Single cheeseburger. Double the fake cheese!

There's nothing better than ice cream from Dairy Queen on a hot summer day but my God folks, they dont have a clue about a hamburger! Look at the cheese! I swear it came in a bulk package that had like 800 slices in it! And then they just slapped it on there! Okay, my fault for thinking the place known for Blizzards could do fast food. They cannot. But gotta love the soft serve ice cream in ANY form. Finding a way to keep it from dripping all over you in this heat is all you need to worry about! No one on staff looked over 25, and there must have been 7 or 8 people trying to work there, but it was clean and cool inside. Much better than the outdoor DQ's cuz the bees chase you!

It appeared that we were going to have a great meal with great service, until...... Our server was very attentive, until food was delivered... then no where to be found. We ordered deviled eggs that were overcooked and too salty. My friend and I shared a burger and her son had the pork chop. Our meal arrived without any condiments (please.... a burger and no ketchup?). I attempted to flag down our waiter, but to no avail. I got up and found another server near the drink stand and asked for condiments. She said they would right over. Ten minutes later, nothing..... finally found our waiter who retrieved condiments from the kitchen... by then our burger was cold and not very tasty. We decided to treat ourselves with some key lime pie which was recommended by our servers as his "favorite." The pie had far too much crust that was chewy and hard. The entire meal was a big disappointment.

All the meat was okay, chicken was the most moist and flavorful. Would not recommend the barbacoa, very dry and cinnamon forward in flavor, carnitas was okay (chipotle is better). Atmosphere was nice, good lighting, would come back but would order something different.

As Lucy's is known for their stuffed burgers, I went with The Juicy Lucy and a half order of fries. The burgers are made with a 76/24 blend and stuffed with cheese, onions, and pickles. There are plenty of add-ons (tomato, lettuce, pepperoncini, bacon, even an egg), but go easy as these burgers are seriously indulgent and filling. The skinny fries were fabulous (you can't have just one). My order arrived quick AND hot. The burger was good and as promised, juicy. Definitely recommend indulging in a cocktail too. Lucy's infuses their vodka so check out the Cherry Spritz (it isn't quite as tart as the name implies) or the pineapple flavored Lucy's Spritz. Beer and wine are served as well as Pepsi products.

My wife and I popped in to try it out and got the classic stuffed burgers. The burgers were almost 20 bucks each with no sides, which would be fine if they were exceptionally tasty or high-quality, but they tasted as if they came from the frozen section at Walmart. The stuffed cheese was barely existent, and I was charged for adding lettuce and tomatoes. Wtf? The fries were good, but they were clearly from a giant frozen bag, so charging extra for them seems crazy considering the burgers were almost 20 bucks. When it was all said and done, we paid over 80 dollars for two mediocre (borderline bad) burgers, one side of fries to share, a Bloody Mary, and a cheap canned beer. We left with with a very bad taste in our mouth both literally and figuratively. The only saving grace was that the server was very friendly and nice. That's the second star. Also, we chose this place because we had some cash on the in-kind app, but when we went to pay, they said they had changed POS systems, so they were essentially engaging in false advertising. They did give us a drink coupon, but we won't be back ever.

It's located in Golden, Colorado, right across the street from the world-famous Coors Brewery, so the setting is already pretty cool and scenic. Bob's Atomic Burgers has a great neighborhood-joint feel: small, cozy, clean, and eclectic, with interesting stuff on the walls and a fun local vibe. When we walked in, there was a table near the door with order sleeves and paper forms where you build your burger by choosing the meat, bun, cheese, free toppings, and extra toppings. They have a really good selection. I went with a single beef patty on a white bun with American cheese, pickles, raw jalapeños, tomatoes, green chiles, banana peppers, and a large fry. We turned in our order sleeves at the counter and ordered fountain drinks. When we mentioned it was our first visit, the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The young lady behind the counter explained a little about the place and how the ordering process worked, which was much appreciated. The burgers are made to order, so we waited about 10-15 minutes. Honestly, that worked out perfectly because indoor seating is limited, and during the wait we were able to grab a table. They also have outdoor seating, though it was raining when we visited. When the burgers came out, they looked amazing. I'd describe them as a cross between a smash burger and a traditional patty, and I really liked that. My burger was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and messy in the best possible way. The large fries came in the usual paper sleeve, but it was absolutely overflowing, and the fries were hot, fresh, cooked to order, and excellent. This was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and a local feel that big chains just can't touch. Skip the lame McDonald's or Burger King run and go somewhere that makes an actual great burger. Bob's Atomic Burgers is absolutely worth the visit.

This is not the restaurant's fault at all, so the lack of two stars is not for their shortcomings, but for our dining experience. Hear me out. Noise sensitivity is always a consideration for where we go. Bar+Friday Night+Dinner time has potential for being loud anywhere. I get it. But unfortunately, we were surrounded by small loud children that all seemed to compete in the loudest volume competition. I have children and totally understand they do what they do. But for us, a lunch or weeknight dinner may be better because we had to get out. It was so loud that I couldn't have a conversation with the adults at our table. So if you have similar challenges, skip Friday night dinner but definitely go a less busy time! Job well done for the staff and folks behind the line!
