Just returned from this restaurant and felt I should share my experience. I should have suspected something when I drove into the back parking lot and saw at least one team member playing around (like hackey sack of something). It set the tone.... Went with a buddy and we each placed our orders. Cashier walked off without getting me a cup for my drink. I waited for a minute or two while calling for someone. Finally I just grabbed a cup from behind the counter. My buddy's order arrived while I was waiting to get my cup. It took about 10 or 15 minutes before my burger came. I was told the "fryer disappeared" which is why my burger took so long. I asked for an order of free fries to make up for the fact that my friend had already finished his meal before mine arrived. I really like their food but this poor service will kill them. I don't want that to happen. But someone has to manage these dudes or it will fold. read more

Unfortunately consistently terrible. Blizzards are usually served about 4/5ths, and are never blended properly. You'll get maybe halfway down and go into pure vanilla without fail. Wish it was better, but Sonic is too close to put up with this. read more

Just went to this Dairy Queen and we're shocked that they would serve melted ice cream. We ordered a Carmel Sunday that was more like a ice cream soup. I opened my lid and ice cream spilled out everywhere and it didn't even have any ice cream above the cup line. A peanut buster parfet that was as runny as water. This location has gone down hill with the lack of caring for their customers. We go here for a treat every weekend. It is not worth it anymore between rude employees that you get at times and wasting money on deserts that are bad quality. We will start going back to the A West location as their employees have never been rude and we have never had issues with the quality of the products. I suggest people do the same. read more

I purchased two boxes of Stars and Stripes Starkiss bars for $30 on 7/1 to have at our party on Independence Day. When we opened them, they were melted beyond recognition. I tried to return the bars on 7/5 and was refused a refund or any other compensation. Their reason was that the boxes were opened and that a couple were missing. I sheepishly pointed to my daughter who was with me and said, "Well ya, at 9:30 last night, it's not like I was going to come exchange them. And my kids had been wanting them all week, so I let them eat some in a bowl." I even offered to accept the purchase of one box and only get refunded for one of the two I bought. They still refused to help resolve my issue! Update! The real manager of the restaurant called me to apologize. Can I give zero stars since they failed so miserably? This has been my family's go-to DQ for years. My daughter wanted one of their cakes for her bday party, so we ordered one about a week in advance with a pick up time of 3:00 on 4/30, the day of the party. We called around 2 just to confirm it would be ready. We were told nope, no cakes today because the "cake lady" just didn't show up. They even mentioned that we weren't the only customers not getting their cakes that day. DQ didn't call another store to see if they could cover, and they didn't call us, leading us to scramble 90 minutes before our kid's bday party. It's insane to me that a business would handle things this way! The manager offered some coupon. No thanks, we will never give them business again. Luckily, Baskin Robbins saved the day. Denied service before they closed. Cussed at. Lied to. Got to the place 12 minutes before they close. They had a recording saying they closed at 11. They ignored me at the microphone. I pulled around to the window. Not one, not two, but three different employees saw me parked there and refused to come over to me. Finally, a 15-year-old ish "manager" came over and said sorry that our recording says we close at 11, but we close at 10. I responded, "well it isn't 10 yet." He responded, "yes but we have already closed everything down." I said, "however, you should still be open, so can I order?" They had literally fulfilled the order of the truck right in front me too. His response was, "let me go check and see what they've done." He returned and said, "Oh sorry, they have already closed everything." My next question was, "what can you offer me that I could use at the next time I visit your establishment since you closed early?" He responded that he could not offer me anything. Then he said, "or I could give you a dilly bar." I said I was here for blizzards and was here before you closed. I asked for the owner's phone number. Then, the entire staff of the Dairy Queen came over to the window just to look at me. A girl handed me a phone number. I drove away and one of the teenagers yelled, "f**k you" as I did so. I called the phone number. The same twerp manager answered, claiming that he was the owner. I could hear the other teenagers in the background. He confirmed that "he was the general manager." I explained what happened after he insisted that he was in fact the owner and he apologized for what happened to me. I said, "what will you be doing to make this right?" He said, um I'm thinking." I said, "you sound an awful lot like the young boy manager I was just talking to at the Dairy Queen itself." He hung up the phone. We just came back from ordering here and are appalled. The guy who appeared to be tonight's manager (black hair and tattoo over right eyebrow) was literally roaring cuss words, hitting and slamming things around the store, and cussing out and venting about customers after they ordered in drive thru. He was so incredibly rude to us when ordering as well, and every car after us, as the drive thru window was propped open the entire time we waited so we heard allll of it. The two other staff members we saw with him, a girl with a ponytail and a blonde guy, were literally cowering and looked miserable. The blonde gentleman had wonderful manners and was apologetic. My sister and I went in today for a sweet treat and I have to say that I have never in my life received such great customer service. The young man who took our order was friendly and professional. Asked about amout day and seemed to actually care about our answer. He assured us in our blizzard choices and thanked us for our order. Our food came out not only fast but hot and fresh. While eating in, I witnessed great teamwork and cooperation. They treated each other with respect and kindness. I must add that every employee in the place looked under 20 years old. Average Dairy Queen. These for me are like A&Ws or K Marts, a dying breed. Birthday and I thought an ice cream cake would be good. Had a fairly good selection, they even offered to write on my cake for no additional charge. "Happy Birthday" Parking in back and out front. Clean tables. Countertops etc. Staff seemed extremely young but they had the counter and drive through covered. Greeted my partner and I and answered our cake questions. Quick painless transaction. Would return for ice cream or maybe some hot food. Only issue is the nearby roads make it difficult to park let alone leave and get in the proper turn lane. We just came from this Dairy Queen and I was appalled by what I saw! The poor girl working the front that took our order -Nikki or Dominique (I asked her what her name was when we left)she was great-however she was running around working her butt off taking and making orders and still being polite and nice to everyone coming and going "hi welcome" "thank you for coming have a great day" that right there would warrant a 5 star review -but then I saw her ask a woman in the back (who I didn't even know was there) to grab her a dairy free bar that I ordered and the lady said "yeah" and never brought it to her , then I saw another worker ) a man) come out from the back only to fill his soda -not offer help to this poor girl -then this girl rang up a customer who had ordered a cake and the lady from the back appeared again only to berate this poor Nikki in front of the entire store about how she didn't charge the customer correctly for the cake she had ordered and it should have been more -she was mean and rude and honestly could have waited and pulled her aside and said something to her when there were no customer but yet this Nikki smiles and says "I'm sorry" and just continues busting her ass greeting people and smiling -if my boss did that to me it would have likely ruined my day-just very disappointed in what I saw take place there today-the owner should probably check their employees and reward the good ones and get rid of the bad ones -thank you Nikki for your service today-you were beyond wonderful -sorry your co workers or bosses or whoever they were suck! read more

We went to the drive through because their lobby is closed due to COVID, & they gave our entire order to the car in front of us, then tried to give us the order for the car behind us. This after the person on the intercom got testy with us because we repeated ourselves while ordering because we thought he hadn't heard correctly. My family and I have been going here once a week for years. There have always been issues (usually with the blizzards (i recently ordered a mint m&m blizzard and when i opened it at home there was only ice cream)) but they have started to get better. However, recently the service has been getting worse. The newer employees are very rude and not at all helpful. The blonde kid who took my order and rang it up tonight was very short and impatient with me. Ive had this problem with this same employee the past three or four times I have visited. Maybe its different for Dairy Queen but when I worked fast food several years ago I know the type of behavior being displayed by this employee would not have been tolerated. If there was another Dairy Queen closer to me I would have stopped coming here a while ago. UPDATE: Immediately after posting this review i opened my blizzard and it was the wrong order. Again. I specifically said I wanted a peppermint only blizzard and NOT the blizzard of the month. I repeated this to make sure blonde kid got my order right. Guess what I found when I got home? You guessed it, the blizzard I specifically said I didnt want. I might give this place one more try but honestly my expectations are pretty low. This location is just...OK. I mean the ice cream for the most part is exactly what you would expect it to be, and I actually come to this location quite a bit because it's so conveniently located to where I live. But since I come to this one frequently enough I've also seen all their little flaws too... The employees don't know their own products very well. If you want to get anything but Ice Cream, and you ask them what comes on such and such burger the response I often get is...they turn around at the menu look at the picture and go..."Ahhhh...I'm not really sure looks like it has some spicy stuff on it." ...lol....yeah that's helpful....lol I would also say about 50% of the time they don't get your order completely right. I often have to tell them that we need our drinks, or we're missing some ice cream, or they gave us the completely wrong order. You get a real "stoner" vibe off some of the employees too....lol....like they got it wrong to begin with because someone's high back there. The other thing that's kind of annoying is they run out of stuff. For example I my wife wanted a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and they only had strawberry stuff. Sometimes they turn into cash only because their machines are down. If you come to this location don't expect anything that "stands out" from the crowd. Just recognize that you're going to get some pretty good ice cream, have a fun little distraction with the family, and be on your way afterwards. read more

This dairy queen absolutely sucks. I ordered a cake 2 days in advance, and when i went to pick it up, it wasn't ready. They proceeded to tell me to come back in 3 hours to pick up my cake. I returned, and recieved an undecorated cake with ugly, unlegible handwriting, that was half melted. The customer service is terrible, and they flat out lie to you when they make mistakes.
