Hi, I was towed by Dick's and the driver's name is 'Jerimiah'! He is fantastic driver! I am a 81…read moreyear old guy and I live in a seclude place down a 1/4 mile gravel road almost like 'off the grid'. When we started this journey, I was thankful that Jerimiah agreed to deliver my vehicle at least to the end of the 'flat part' of my gravel road which is before it started down a steep hill with a twist and sudden uphill turn at the bottom. But, when Jerimiah saw the tricky part, he said "no problem" and continued on! Wow I was 'really' feeling thankful that my vehicle was at least going to be near the 5th wheel trailer I live in! But then, get this!, when we was at least near my trailer more less in my yard, Jerimiah could tell that I was trying to figure out if I had a better spot closer to my 5th wheel trailer, but really 'i' was not wanting to 'ask' Jerimiah to spot it even closer to my trailer because of all the obstructions. Then he just popped up and said, "are you sure you don't want it closer to your trailer, because he said, "i can turn around and back in and place it where you 'normally park'! This meant he had to turn around in the narrow gravel road and miss all my other vehicles and big steel shipping containers and trees!! Well, I said, "if you can do 'that' then I will close my eyes and say 'yes', and that I would be 'so Grateful'! Jerimiah said, "no problem!" Dang!, he turned that big truck around so fast I could not believe it and then he backed it into 'absolutely' into the perfect position where I always park and thus where I will have good access for working on it!! I said to myself, "thank you Jesus" and I tried to give him a tip! Jerimiah being 'upstanding' young man would not accept my tip and just said to "call Dick's again If need a tow in the future!" I shook his hand with both of my hands, and I watch his truck drive away until he was out of site because I was so appreciative. By the way Jerimiah was so 'upbeat' and 'jovial', and we found common ground for good conversation as he drove to my place. What a great experience it was at midnight in the rain and cold, considering the fact that I broke down on the freeway and 'did' have to call for a tow! Saturday, August 1, while driving on I-5 south near the Tulalip Outlets just off exit 200, it was…read morestop and go traffic on the highway. Cars had slowed to a crawl and I came to a complete stop just as cars in front of me were stopped due to the early afternoon weekend traffic jam. And as I was stopped a light green Prius had crashed into my car completely damaging my rear bumper and pushing my car into the car in front of me further damaging my front bumper and hood. The shocking part was the driver of the light green Prius did not stop to check to see if myself, my passengers, and the driver in front of me were OK. The woman driving the lime green Prius had left the scene and drove off without taking any accountability or responsibility for what had happened. It looked like she was distracted and on her phone during the accident. Luckily, none of my passengers were hurt or injured during the accident. And the woman driving a 2017 Lexus in front of me was not hurt either. Her car did not sustain any damages either, just my 2005 Nissan Maxima SE. I had called 911 to request assistance and seek advice from a state trooper on whether my car was safe to drive home. It was fortunate that I did, I was still shaken from what had happened and still in disbelief the women in the light green Prius had driven away making it a hit and run accident. Soon after speaking with the state trooper I had called several tow truck companies in the area. Richard's Towing was one of two who responded immediately. I called and left a voice mail message with my name number and details of the accident. Richard had called me back and was very professional. He asked me specific details, where I was located, where I would like my car to be dropped off, calculated the total distance between Tulalip and Bothell (25 miles) to provide an accurate estimate, and he also provided an eta when he was able to pick up my car. Richard provided clear and transparent pricing, professional service, and I was also able to ride along in his tow truck for the drop off. During the ride home, Richard was very personable and shared his knowledge and experience with similar accidents. The accident was a bit jarring and the conversation helped me calm my nerves and get my mind off losing my car or no longer having a reliable car to drive. Once we arrived at my home, Richard safely unloaded my car, accepted my payment via phone app. He was also able to provide and email me an invoice for the towing service so I could submit a copy to my insurance company. I highly recommend Richard's Towing. Richard earned my trust by providing clear and transparent communication. His pricing was fair and accurate based on the miles calculated and rate for the distance traveled. Richard was also very personable and showed much needed empathy and compassion after my accident. I used to love to have Adrian work on my vehicle but since the new upgraded place its been one bad…read moreexperience after another. The last 4 times I went there I waited in the lobby for so many hours. If I had known it would be that long I would have went home. The last time was 5 and a half hours in the lobby! I tried to go home at hour 3 and was asked to stay (telling me it would be soon.) The prices have really gone up. He wouldn't charge me to look at it so I thought I was getting a good deal but with the high pricing it made up for it. Several hundred dollars cheaper at other places when I called around. I got an oil change here and I made an appointment for it. I waited 3 and a half hours in the lobby and it cost a little over 100$. I mentioned I was feeling the transmission slipping and was told they would take a look at it. At checkout they said nothing, I asked them about it and another 20 minutes later they came back and said it was fine maybe I could get a tune up soon. I brought it in again a few weeks later still with the transmission slipping. They said they found a sensor out and a few other things. I paid a little over 1000$ two separate times within 3 months. Each time I asked is it worth it, to fix it? What about the transmission? I got round about answers and was told fixing it was a good option. Now after putting almost 4000$ into it within a year my transmission needs to be replaced and I can't afford to fix it or get another vehicle! I don't have words for how I feel about that. I really trusted Adrian and so I trusted his crew and I feel like they really let me down and put me in a bad spot. I'm a single mom and I needed the honesty and care I had gotten from Adrian at the beginning but I guess things change.
