On the inspection itself David was good about explaining any questions myself or my husband had, such as "What is this thing with the plugs you just said?" Or "Those cracks? Are they okay?" We had our inspection in the winter so certain information was limited due to snow. It meant he had blocked views of some things, and he didn't turn on the AC because...it's winter, but he did tell us what he could based on access. As expected with an inspection we learned what was good about the home, what was functional but would need attention, and what were immediate concerns. For this being my first experience with a home inspector I was happy with it.

We were delighted that he was able come so quickly to get started as we were anxious to move in. Upon arriving we inspected the area and he assured me he would be able to take care of the job in about 4 days. This is where the nightmare begins. Every time they came to my house they made things worse. They are sloppy and careless. They have no pride in their work and don't care about your house. I asked for a refund and was told "that's not going to happen." My entry and stair case are the are so messed up that I will need to call in professionals to fix. I need to have the entire job done again by someone who knows what they're doing. They are messy and careless. They make you pay before the final coat of poly is dry so they are long gone before you can really check out their handy work. They did offer to come back and try again. I declined their offer because they had already delayed us 5 days from moving in which ended up costing us so much money. I can not stress this enough. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

When I did move forward with Joe he was punctual and respectful in scheduling getting it done within a week while working around my schedule. During the inspection he was thorough; climbing into each nook no matter how awkward. He also leveraged modern equipment (thermal imaging, sensors, software, etc) and experience. His knowledge of roofing and access to proprietary roofing software not only put the issue in context but also produced a region-specific quote instantly.
