Most importantly, getting the old liner out became a real problem, and they worked slowly and carefully so as not to damage our old chimney and got it out after spending much longer than they had planned. They were also very careful when taking the crown apart to not drop anything on our back deck. The guys were all pleasant, had good senses of humor, and let us know what they were doing when asked. They wanted a $3.1K deposit which she had to pay in cash because their "credit card reader failed". This amount turned out to be excessive and in violation of NY law. The work was schedule for December of last year. Without notifying her, they rescheduled the installation for March of this year... without her consent. However, my sister who signed the contract became seriously ill... is in the hospital... and would not be available to supervise the work at that later date... a date they rescheduled to do the work without my sister's consent or knowledge. As such, a demand for return of the full deposit was made and refused by Woodford. We will be taking further action. UPDATE While it was inexcusable to have withheld the deposit, Woodford is making a full refund of the remaining deposit and promised to send it certified mail the same day. My thanks to Eric for his prompt response to this matter.

Elana in the office was super and got everything scheduled . The workmen showed up on time ,as scheduled. Covered all the walkway areas they used to go back and forth. They were knowledgeable and completed the job as outlined in the estimate. Very courteous and polite.
