I am an elderly widow that was taken advantage of by this man. He was hired to fix a hole in a…read morecinderblock of my foundation and replace a small wood patio by a side garage door where the damaged cinderblock was with a concrete pad. There was a water issue there that caused the cinderblock to disintegrate over the years and he said he could fix the problem. When he was finished he had made the problem worse by pitching the concrete towards the house instead of away from it. He said he would install drain tile. He installed about 3 feet of drain tile which was useless. His work was shoddy at best. I learned later he had grossly overcharged me. The job should have cost around 2800. I paid him 5875. He refused to refund me any money. I did the math and learned how much the concrete and the parge costs and I knew how many hours of labor. He made about 300 dollars an hour for the shoddy work. He did agree to redo all the concrete again this time pitching it away from the house. I am now left with a board cemented in concrete between my driveway and the concrete pad and cracked parging on the foundation wall. Another shoddy job. He said his daughter would come and finish, she never did. A warning to all not to hire this con man unless you want to pay double for inferior work.

We never got the dignity of our response This year we are damaged due to ice buildup. It took them all summer to get the part and when it came, it was the wrong part meanwhile they had our deposit over $1000 no apology when they didn't come to install it we were not told they were coming. They just appeared. Our problem is that we are into this company for thousands of dollars for a roof and here we are still paying for our new roof.

Their estimator looked the job over made some suggestions, and said I would be the first or second job that season and they would start in April weather permitting. I signed a contract and sent a check for half the agreed amount. Around the 20th of June I got one days notice that they would be at my house to do the job. About 7:00 AM the next day the same estimator showed up with a crew of about 10 Hispanic people only one of which spoke a little bit of English. About 1:00 PM the Estimator/foreman took off to visit family out of state leaving the crew to finish the job. Around 5:00 PM they started putting all their equipment away and I asked about the roof on the bay windows and the soffit repair that was part of the contract. Now no one understands English. I contacted the foreman and eventually was told another crew would come and finish. That crew came probably three times each time telling everything was done but it was not. Not only didn't they do the work they said they did but they slopped gutter coating all over the new roof shingles. This dragged out until December when Over the Top wanted to bill me for the roofing only and let the other work go. I told them no way. We have a contract and I want the work done as per the contract. Then I was told they would not be coming back any more. I had to find another contractor who came the following spring to fix the poor work that was done and finish the job. That cost me an amount equal to the second half of the original contract plus another $1,000. In the meantime there were three different leaks which I, a disabled veteran in my seventies, had to fix myself in the middle of December. Then repaint three different interior walls. I am also a retired contractor and believe me these are the last people you want working on your home.

The canvas which was supposed to be covering the truck was not tethered down and several other drivers were also experiencing this as they were frantically trying to pass the truck. One of the rocks hit my windshield and caused a crack. I called the company and was told I couldn't be helped because I didn't have the truck number. Does it matter which one of your trucks caused damage to my car? I was trying to get away from the area as soon as possible, I'm sorry I didn't ask for the driver's truck number and driver ID. Sub-par customer service at best. If you see a Ricelli truck please get off the highway immediately.
