Everything was explained to her and they patiently performed the tests sometimes having to repeat them. Dr Drobeck was so patient with her and took her through the exam step by step insuring he got accurate results and best outcome for her. What a great practitioner he is. I never would have guessed it is the same business as the other location. When I arrived, the receptionist asked do you have your paperwork? No, I never received any. She said sInce theres no paperwork then we'll need to reschedule. At that point I left stating I'd find some other doctor in Corvallis to have an exam with. This is extremely poor practice and they lost a customer who would have purchased "several" pair of glasses from them at this appt, not just one. Also, they need to actually SEND paperwork or let people know it's required so they can pick it up in advance. If you use them be certain you can only be 5 minutes late after rushing over from the other location which is actually called Eyecare Associates. Poor practice!

I told the eye doctor that while the options he flipped to, looked the best out of the choices, the right eye didn't look right. He held lenses over my glasses, that was supposed to be equivalent and it looked ok, so I went with it. I then looked at buying glasses there, but their prices, even with insurance, were about $150 more than other places, so I decided to buy them from my husband's eye doctor. The glasses came back and the vision wasn't right in the right eye so they made them again. It still wasn't right so they asked me to have my doctor recheck the prescription for my right eye. I made an appointment and came in, but was told that they couldn't recheck my eye prescription without having the glasses and that it would cost $95 to have it done. I asked, even if it's discovered that the prescription was wrong, I'd have to pay? And they said yes. So I said I wouldn't be returning and if I have to pay, I will pay a different place to do it. I can't believe they won't check if they made a mistake.

They charged me full price, over $230 for the office visit. The Dr told me to use refresh eye drops more often, it was probably dry eyes, he was struggling too. I have and do use eyedrops through out the day, for years. It has been 1 year and my vision in the corrected eye, new lenses in my glasses too, is aweful. I will need the other eye done and will go elsewhere. I was going to switch my vision care to this office but will stick with Costco. The office staff is great, the Dr is nice, but "good enough" does'nt cut it when it comes to corrected vision.

Once in the exam room I waited an hour before I finally called the front desk and asked them what was going on, that I had had been in the exam room for an hour. They said they would let someone know. About 10 minutes later a tech came and said that I was next, that it shouldn't be too long. Thirty minutes later the doctor came in. I waited a total of an hour and a half! On top of that the doctor didn't have the professional courtesy to apologize. She just began working on my eye, she also tweaked my eye while examining it, which was extremely painful. She then blew it off explaining to the tech that I was experiencing a little problem, that I was feeling uncomfortable. I have never experienced such treatment by an eye care professional. There are some positives though: before this visit I did see a Dr. Bagga, who was great, the optician named Rhonda was fabulous and the clinics lab did do a super job on my prescription, and finally the front desk staff were very polite and courteous.

A thorough test, a real test for everything under the sun. When done they figured out how to fix the hearing aid and reprogrammed it. Then a retest for the relevant parts. Very scientific. I can't imagine a better outcome, highly recommend it, i mean it, Ron Leavitt is extremely knowledgeable, and so is his staff. Professional, personable. What more can one ask? They probably had a chance to profit more by encouraging me to get a newer hearing aid, but they did what was best for me. I am 81 and can hear again. Like i said, almost in tears I am joyful.

The front office staff were pleasant and helpful, but the good service ended there. During the…read morehearing test I got dizzy so we stopped for a moment. The doctor and technician offered that after a few minutes we could resume the test OR that I could go home and return to finish the test. Apparently I made the bad choice: I was not allowed for set another appointment. I returned the next day to try to schedule the hearing test. With advice from the back office technician, the receptionist was prompted on how to deal with me. They said the hearing test results were mailed to my primary care dr. Crazy--I am the patient and the doctor or technician should talk to ME. When I persevered with the staff to schedule a time to finish the hearing test and time to TALK TO ME. The technician came front to grudgingly agree to schedule "only one more appointment." I was granted an appointment 4 months out. When I contacted my primary dr. to get the results found at my first appointment she said that she had not received my audiology report, and if she had the results she would not be able to take action on them. Our best solution was to get a different referral and start over. I found my way to a great audiologist, fully worth the drive out of town. Makes me wonder how they stay in business?
