We got to take a drive out to this location for our daughter's bowling tournament, only half an hour drive from the south Reno area. It was a quaint place but lots of friendly staff. Their lanes were nice and reasonable prices for bowling games. My daughter enjoyed playing the claw machine games there after the tournament and it was a nice surprise that all of them were only 50 cents to play. We ordered pizza, Caesar salad, and Cajun tots and all were pretty tasty. We definitely wouldn't mind returning. It had a small-town feel to it especially with the bowling community that attended the tournament. Fun times! read more

After taking my son to the play center here, I feel like we both need to take a shower! D: I'm not sure if this place has actually ever been cleaned.. No joke.. Not to mention, it's unsafe! There are multiple areas throughout the play center that are broken. On the inside of the slide, one of the hard plastic windows is broken. If a child accidentally put their hand in there, they could seriously be injured! Parts of the safety netting inside the play structure is torn, also.. All it takes is a kid to stick their arm in the netting & get stuck. (I'm a mom, so I think about these things.) A lot of the games here are broken as well. They have a car game that hasn't been fixed in all the times that we've been here in the past 2 years "If I'm lyin,' I'm fryin'!" We haven't been to this play place in a long time, as we typically don't mind making the extra drive to The Coconut Bowl in Sparks. On the fence now about ever coming back. Atleast until things change.. It's pathetic that parent's actually pay to have their kid's play here & have birthday parties in the party rooms.. I couldn't get out of this disgusting place quick enough. Has the health inspector payed a visit here in the past few years? Doubt it! Tempted to call them & make a report. The fundamentals are there but holly cow clean the structure! There was also a giant kid size gap in the netting on the second level a kid can fall through... Trash, socks, years of sock fuzz, duct tape over all the rips. The bathroom by the play structure had a clogged toilet from the night before... Since no one over 11 is allowed in the play structure is that why they can't clean it?!?! LOL the bowling and everything else looks nice though.. read more

Went a couple day ago for the first time. The place was decently clean and all seemed to be up to standards. The fried veggies were decent but the batter was too thick and not cooked thoroughly. The pizza was not very good either. Bowling was fun but the lanes seem to need maintenance. The 6 pound balls kept getting stuck back with the pins. Most employees were friendly except a couple that almost got yelled at for being rude. All in all, my family had fun and we will be going back. read more

Why would you have a league bowl on a Friday night in a town with nothing to do? An hour and a half to bowl is bull shit. An then the except us to have all these kids running around in the front end or pay $5 a kid to play in a cheap play land. My kids would have more fun playing in the street. read more

Best food in Fernley, staff is friendly and polite. Pizza and wings are the best I had in 3 years.

Overall not a bad place for the family, however, the arcade games are often faulty and my 4 year old daughter was deprived of her small prize because the machine malfunctioned. The snack bar also is lacking. I placed my order and they immediately began preparing the order placed after mine. I had to remind the staff of my order before they began cooking it. I will say that the staff is quite friendly and courteous and the prices are reasonable. I will continue to come here (not that there are many choices in this town) but I do hope that they tighten up their operation. read more

First time here, was a nice place to bring my child for amusement. I really got disgusted when a lady cook came on shift around 4 pm on labor day and I observed her open a bag of shredded cheese with her teeth. Big no,no! I'm not going to eat here again but might take my kid here again. read more

The place overall was great, however the management was absolutely disgusting. The general manager was in the bar area drinking and telling the customers that she was in fact drinking while on her day off. My brother heard her and told her that it was very unprofessional to not only be drinking while working, but to be telling customers that as this is a family place. Later in the evening she staggered over to us (a family of 9 including young children) while she was obviously intoxicated and started using profane insults towards my brother. My mother went over to try to stop what was going on, but she then proceeded to put her hand in my mother's face and threatening the job of my brother's girlfriend who works there as well. I could not believe how insulting and unprofessional the general manager was. I hope nobody else has an experience like this because I was absolutely shocked. read more

We went to the bowling alley today for my niece. This was the worst experience we have ever had at a bowling alley. I went up to order a pizza and the lady was so rude she told me thry were doing another party and it would be about an hour to get one. So I ordered chili cheese fries for my husband. Mind you my husband has no teeth but me and my sister do. The fries were so over cooked that those of us that have teeth could not eat them. My sister took them back up they got rude even the owner. They took them in the back said they were remaking them but didnt. They left them in the back room for almost 30 minutes. When my husband went up to get the fries he got an attitude and rudeness that should not be at work in public. The owner came over and refused to have them make a new one he took a fry and said they are fine. He even refused to refund the money for them. This place is horrible dont have a birthday party there it will disappointe you. read more

We took our grand kids during a recent visit to Fernley. We arrived shortly after opening, yet the facilities were FILTHY, especially the 2-story Fun House. We went for the first time yesterday. First of all, they have us the wrong size shoe for our daughter. When I commented on it, the lady argued and said there's 2 numbers on the shoes (11 & 13), and said that WERE 13... they did not fit, she needed a 13...so I walked back up to the counter to exchange them. There was nobody at the counter!! I stood there for 4 minutes before a man asked what I needed. Then he went to find someone else to help me! Then...we start bowling. My 7 year old daughter used a kids ball it wouldn't return after her first try...we went and told a kid behind the counter...his response, "those balls are too light so they don't trigger the return, just use a heavier ball and it will come back". Uh...so my daughter had to use a heavy ball for her 2nd try. Then 3 frames in...the pins get set up and half of them knock down on their own...and then they get stuck somehow! Again, we complain to a person behind the counter...2 people go in behind the lane and take 5 minutes to "fix" the issue! By this point my husband is irritated. Happened again a few frames later... we just kept bowling until the game was done and left. My kid wanted to try the arcade... most games just ate the tokens or spit them back out. We will drive the 35 minutes to Sparks next time we want to bowl. read more

I brought my youth group here because a lot of them have never been bowling. The staff worked very closely with us on everything. They respected our youth and our youth respected them. After we were done and getting ready to leave, the lady who made our pizza came up to us and asked if everything worked out good. We told her that everything was perfect. If we ever have an opportunity to do this again, we will. This bowling place and our teen are the reason why we will be doing more activities. read more

its nice to finally have the bowling alley back after a couple of years being shut down. A huge problem, in my opinion, is the charge of $5 per child in their unsupervised and poorly maintained play area. Come on!! We are a working class community, there should be no charge for the play area, just like many fast food places. I understand why the business is pushing league bowling in order to maintain their bottom line, but many like to bowl on Fridays, so there should be more open alleys for drop-in people. My rating will go up if the business takes off that $5 charge for the play area. read more

I was never so upset and disappointed in the Birthday party I paid for, for my daughter's 12 birthday!! I spent more time putting out fires than spending time with my daughter!! I assumed you bowled from the time you got there to the time it ended!! NO! One game! Which every ones was screwed up with names, etc. By the time they got the bowling started it was 30 min gone! Then that was not even right!! NOTHING was set up, we waited forever!! Got balloons and gift bags at the very end!! It was a horrible mess and I do NOT plan on paying for any extra stuff I ordered!! None of it was ready when I asked it to be!! I am filing a complaint with my credit card company against them!! I think if you have a party planner, that person needs to be there on site to make sure nothing goes wrong!! Not in all my years of planning Corporate parties did something like this happen!! If it had I would of been fired!! The food also was so damn greasy!! Cupcakes and ice cream was the only thing good!! My poor daughter!!
