I had a horrible experience at Frontier Dermatology Edmonds. On 3/17/26 had 3 areas frozen off my arm. On 3/27/26 one area was showing signs of infection. I called the clinic and asked if I could come by to have some eyes on it. I was told I needed an appointment and the next available was 4/6/26. I then sent photos on MyChart to the dermatologist. Meanwhile I went to my PCP and it was definitely infected. He took a culture (tested positive) and started me on oral and topical antibiotics. He said it was a good thing I came in when I did. The next day I heard from Frontier because I had left a message and sent the photos. I was told on the phone that my wound was fine and to put Neosporin on it. I would not trust this clinic and would not go again. Anytime you mention an infection in a wound you should be seen right away by any doctor doing there job correctly.

I had a benign skin excision removed with Dr. Lawlor. Although I understand he wanted clear margins, and an elliptical shape is required to minimize irregular scarring. The margins he took were inexplicably wide. He took a 4cm ellipse for a 0.4 cm lesion. 2 years later, the scar still looks disfiguring. Although I was prepared for as scar, the shear size of it is outrageous. I regret seeing Dr. Lawlor every time I look at this horrible scar, and could not recommend anyone else go. This is in addition to the formation of a cyst, the need for an additional excision, AND leaving sutures embedded within the wound that required me to return to have them removed AND he attempted to pull them out without any local anaesthetic, it took me wincing for him to offer it. This ordeal lasted months, and I still have this horrific scar. I would NEVER go to this location again.

Heather Dahl has done a great job with my hair removal process. She works quickly and efficiently so you don't feel it much.

This is a review for the business Naturopathic Dermatology and its practitioner, Christa Lamothe,…read moreND. I recently went for an appointment with Dr. Lamothe to address ongoing skin issues (eczema among other problems) I've been having for several years. I have seen dozens of doctors over the last 6 years because of health problems; my skin issues are just one piece of the puzzle. At my appointment I received several free samples of skin products (2 creams and a cleanser) that (I think) were formulated by Dr. Lamothe. I just tried them today, so I don't know yet how they will work for my skin. These weren't given to me to be the magic cure - Dr. Lamothe spoke with me in depth about what the underlying issues might be concerning by skin problems (i.e., cortisol levels, thyroid , etc). She gave me a list of tests she wanted me to have done and gave this to me to have done at my GP's office, as my insurance doesn't cover ND's or their prescribed bloodwork. That was very helpful to me as , like most people, I have a limited income. My impression of Dr. Lamothe is that she is very intelligent and knowledgeable and she is very easy to talk to; I felt very comfortable talking with her about my medical issues. I think many people with skin problems would like to see Dr. Lamothe , and especially as opposed to, or in addition to, an MD dermatologist, who, in my experience, often treats the skin as a separate entity, not one that is connected to diet, hormones, etc. of the patient.

Absolute waste of time and money. Lamothe came unprepared to the appointment. She clearly hadn't…read moreeven reviewed the file or pictures beforehand and so asked redundant questions, including "what kind of acne do you have?" I was in hopes of a professional. DANGEROUS and FILTHY. I had an appt with Dr. Jane Yoo in the Frontier Group (Steven's Health…read moreCenter) in Edmonds. As I waited in the exam room, I noticed that a foot-wide area on the door to the room was either really stained around the doorknob or very dirty (like you'd expect at a mechanic's garage). Curious, I grabbed a wetwipe and swiped the surface. The door was filthy. There was no trash can in the room so I left the wetwipe on the counter. When the doctor and her assistant saw it, they were properly appalled ---"Is that yours or ours?!"--- but the doctor blamed the property manager for the filth. She offered no apology, took no responsibility for her own practice. Unacceptable. There's no way that I would ever have any kind of medical procedure done in that office! Basic safety and cleanliness protocols are not followed. Very dangerous, gross, and disgusting. AVOID this place!

I exclusively use their PCA, Skinmedica and Yonka products.(and whatever else Elsa recommends) After having spent so much time over the years with Elsa, I can tell you she is very knowledgeable/educated and stays up to date with all the latest aesthetics available or coming out. She is kind and charismatic. She will put you at ease and always wants the best results for her clients. When the company transitioned from NW dermatology to SSL, I considered leaving due to loss of customer service that they had when it was a smaller company. Their phone system/people answering phones is still not good. But I've stayed solely because of Elsa. Recently, I referred a friend to SSL and she experienced the same customer service issues, someone at a Mercer Island location I believe told her they didn't have an Edmonds location and she couldn't get an appt for 6 months. Coincidentally, I was at the Edmonds location for an appt. and let the skincare clinic know her experience. Hannah immediately called her and got my friend an appt. right away. The skincare clinic has the best customer service!

From the moment she walked in to my treatment room, I was struck by her warmth and genuine patience. It felt as though I had known her for years, a testament to her exceptional ability to connect with her patients on a personal level. Having received Botox injections for over a decade In San Francisco, Beverly Hills, NYC and Seattle, I thought I had already discovered the pinnacle of expertise. That was until I met Alison. Her skill and precision in administering injections are unparalleled. Not only did she achieve stunning results with fewer units than I was used to, but she also managed to do so at a more affordable price. This efficiency and effectiveness clearly showcase her deep knowledge and mastery in the field. I also have had friends go to her for micro-needling. They were super enthusiastic about it and said it caused their skin to start doing its own thing by making new cells to make them look younger. By the way, nothing Alison does ever hurts! Not even a little bit. I don't even flinch when she does it because she is so gentle. It's no surprise that Alison excels, given her affiliation with Dr. Baxter, a renowned plastic surgeon whose reputation as one of the best in the US is well-deserved. Alison's remarkable talent and keen eye for detail reflect the high standards set by Dr. Baxter's practice. If you're looking for an aesthetic injector who combines expertise with a personal touch, Alison is the one to see. Her approach has elevated my cosmetic treatments, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Dr. Baxter and his staff surpassed all expectations. Exceptional service. Highly recommend.read more

The Edmonds office is almost within walking distance from my home and it seems to be less busy than the Lynnwood office. That's a definite plus! I've been here many times to their Urgent Care clinic (which is in the same section as the 'regular' care), but I'd never been on a regular basis. I went in for a problem and they sent me upstairs to another doctor. The staff both upstairs and down were super nice and I was able to be seen quickly upstairs. The doctor who treated me was extremely nice and understood my situation. I'd been without a primary care physician since my doctor at Lynnwood retired a couple of years ago but two of the staff at the Edmonds clinic recommended another doctor, so I made two appointments with her. I was even able to change one of the appointments with no issues at all when I realized there was a conflict. I've been in twice to see a pharmacist about my medications and she was super nice as well. I love that this location has its' own pharmacy. It's so convenient and although the staff seem a little flustered at times, I like coming here. Overall, my care has been great and I like coming to this location. Hopefully I can transition completely to this location for most of my medical needs. It would definitely save a lot of time and gas. As for their Urgent Care, it's been great. Thankfully I haven't had to come too often but I love that it's there when I need it. The parking is a lot better here than at Lynnwood, but there are two sides to the building so it can get confusing as to which one is the correct one. The one on the other side of the building that faces away from the street is the entrance that goes to the main reception desk.
