Calvin is a genuine guy who is pays attention to the details and lets you know that he wants you to leave with the cut you want. It's currently only him in the shop, so you might want to call ahead to check if he can get you in. It honestly has never been crowded (maybe one or two guys waiting but nothing compared to the bigger shops) but I always call Saturday morning just in case. I have yet to not get in same day. He seems to pencil people in by half hour. Note that his place is on a one way street. There's parking either on the cross street immediately before the shop or directly in front of it. The place has a chill vibe with music or TV going and magazines lying around if you need to flip through something. Oh, and for reference, I'm a Chinese-American guy with straight hair.
