When I was a teenager, my friends and I would go and see Q as we thought of him as : (AIR JORDAN ) of cutting hair, no one had the skills or style he had and his shop was always constantly busy. Q THE BARBER had inspired me to become a barber from seeing his success and passion behind his work, to where later in life I went to school to become a barber and eventually open a well known shop in Southern California called 'Justin's Fades & Hairstyles'. I flew into town from Southern California to come and visit family, so I didn't have the time to get my haircut before I flew in to town. I reached out to Q and had made an appointment with him. He sharpened me up with a clean fade and sharp beard lines. He deserves all the reviews and compliments as he demonstrates daily that they are well deserved.

First time in a LONG time I'd been to a barber shop, as I usually go to one of the big box quick cuts for convenience. I was a little turned off that I had to schedule an appointment and when I got there, the guy (forgot his name) was finishing up and I had to wait around 10-15 minutes. That by itself wasn't a huge deal but while I was waiting there was a different barber doing nothing. He was probably waiting for his next appointment but if it were walk-in I could have gotten started earlier. I explained to my barber that I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted so we discussed different styles and options. He was very helpful and ended up giving me the best hair cut I've gotten in terms of execution. I went several months ago and am not sure I'd go with the same style again but the cut itself was great. My biggest gripe is with barber shops in general and not particularly this place. I don't like how long I have to spend there and the feeling of having to make small talk...but if I did live in Salem or plan to be there again, I'd probably go back.
