A LOT of unexpected fees. We're talking $200 of unexpected fees. And they're rude. I will NEVER fly them again.

Just an awful experience getting out of Houston. The worst part, 3 supervisor just standing and watching as their people were struggling.

Amazing service from Auckland to Houston IAH…read more So nice to be able to fly directly home after an amazing journey to Australia and New Zealand to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary and fulfill my dad's lifelong dream of visiting Australia. After visiting New Zealand, I learned that Kiwis are among the warmest, kindest people that I have met on my global travels. Genuinely so willing to share their love of their country and their love of others. From initial phone calls to Air New Zealand to get a wheelchair accommodation for my octogenarian dad to inflight service, it was really a trip home that I will never forget. Thanks especially to Deborah B as well as the rest of the cabin crew who kept our family well taken care of with food, drinks, extra clean bathrooms and more. So sweet, so kind and so professional. Loved the extra leg rest in my seat. So comfy for the long haul. Great to be able to charge my phone and enjoy free WiFi. Definitely would fly Air New Zealand again if given the choice!! Hint: Lord of the Rings is a movie option. Perfect when you just visited Hobbiton a few days earlier.

After being BLOWN AWAY by Delta (5-star) on our trip from IAH to ROC, we had American Airlines on…read moreour return trip (2-star). My main "put off" was the old, dirty, worn, "ridden hard and put away wet" planes that we had... especially he ROC to CLT flight. I used the restroom and couldn't believe how gross it was. Parts of the trim were peeling off, just looked overly used and icky. American's planes were like night and day from the crisp, new and flashy Delta planes we had on our flights to Rochester. Then there's the technology or lack there of. Delta had fancy touch screens in each headrest allowing you to watch movies, play games, etc. American Airlines did have free entertainment that you had to access through your phone/tablet but there was an issue with trying to get it. On our last flight, the guy sitting next to me helped me get to the entertainment but after that, HE kept getting kicked off his. He kept trying the entire flight and got so frustrated, he quit trying. (I felt bad bc he helped me and I was able to watch a movie and there he was, struggling the whole time.) I got kicked off once but was able to get back on but it was still annoying. Never had issues with Delta. AA had fold out phone/tablet holders and usb charging ports on our second flight. Meh. No refreshments. Wow. I know airlines are getting stingier and stingier but holy moly! When waiting at the gate in Rochester, the gate attendant states over the loud speaker that they will not be serving any snacks/drinks on the flight and that if you wanted something, you needed to get it in the terminal to bring on the plane!! Whoa! The second flight did offer pretzels and a drink but honestly it was super off-putting to not offer anything on that first flight. I wasn't able to get e-tickets to have on my phone so we didn't have to worry about paper tickets. When I checked myself and my 4 year-old in the day prior, it offered digital tickets if you put in your email. So I put in my email for both me and my son... oh, they can't send them to the same email. So apparently, a 4 year-old needs their own email account to be able to get an e-ticket. SO STRANGE!!! Saw that there was an offer for airline credit in you give up your seat. Was tempting BUT I wasn't wanting to fly with them again anyways and we just wanted to get home. Flight attendants weren't overly friendly but they weren't terrible either. Checked bag cost us $30. All in all, American Airlines was completely different than our Delta experience. I won't seek out AA. We WILL be flying Delta again!!

My parents do not speak English well, and traveling internationally can be stressful for them. Mr. Jody went above and beyond to make sure they felt comfortable and supported. He patiently helped them with their luggage, clearly explained how the wheelchair service works, and even took the time to walk them through the transit process in Korea. What stood out most was his professionalism and kindness. He remained calm, friendly, and respectful throughout the entire interaction. He did not rush the process and made sure my parents understood everything before moving on. That level of care and attention made a big difference for our family. I truly appreciate his dedication and highly recommend Delta for anyone traveling through IAH.

The flight attendants were gorgeous and nice enough to take a picture with me! I have only traveled to Jamaica internationally as an adult and it was a very good experience to use Emirates. My only 2 complaints are the whole bag weight/fee and when I got on the plane there were two different attendants giving me conflicting information! The whole max 25kg thing (55 LBS) when you are on a military orientated flight was kind of frustrating. Just an FYI it's $50 if you go over. Also, they won't even let you bring the bag on if it is more than 32kg (70 LBS). Your carry on bag must weigh less than 7 KG (15 LBS). They won't let you on the plane if it is more! The flight was long but there are plenty of movies and I didn't buy it but there was wifi I believe. All in all, if you fly Emirates.... Especially first class it is definitely worth it. Make sure you check in early the line gets really long!
