After weeks of being referred to different…read moredoctors and testing, we were sent here for my 92 year old father's severe back pain caused by a compression fracture. Maria, the PA was the most professional, empathetic and compassionate person that we have dealt with on this journey. She spent loads of time with us, explaining every little detail, and answering all our annoying questions. She was very personable, with a great beside manner. The medical assistant, (not sure, but I believe she was also Maria) was also wonderful. Set up all our follow ups and referrals and we did not have to worry about a thing. She explained everything in detail, and gave us detailed instructions for before and after the procedures. We had some not great experiences with other medical offices, and we were exhausted after weeks of dealing with this. This office was just the perfect example of a great patient experience and helped to ease our fears and made us feel completely confident that my sweet daddy is in good hands.

Not mine! I gave you my insurance information TWICE! I then offer to pay whatever isn't covered and again- no! It's not like the place was busy, it was empty!! They tell me I can have a 'consultation' and pay the $25 copay, but they couldn't do anything that would be part of the physical-I'd still need to come back for that (which is free under my insurance plan, which I showed them on my phone...) The Doctors also stress the importance of diet and nutrition, and do not solely rely on prescriptions and medications to treat all health issues. Overall, the Doctors are friendly, very competent at their jobs, and trustworthy.

She was so patient and thorough during my first check-up. She had a laptop with her in the exam room and entered everything in right then. She made sure she had all the information about any and all physical complaints I had. She listened patiently and I didn't feel rushed at all. She offered suggestions for all my problems and printed out a list of everything for me so I didn't have to try to remember. She was very kind but down-to-earth and pragmatic. She asked my opinion about how I wanted to pursue treatment and I felt like I was in control of the decisions. She seems genuinely concerned about my progress and even calls me at home to check up on me. And the best part is that she doesn't make me wait or if she does she is sincerely apologetic. I'm not saying the people at the hospital were not fabulous, but Mary (my "installer") was amazing. She was so kind, informative, and friendly. She eased my mind about what I would be going through during the three days. My experience with a home EEG is SO much better than the hospital because I felt comfortable being in my own home and my own bed. I relaxed and rested during the three days (which was great), but I was also able to be around my family while taking the test. If possible, I would highly recommend Stratus and their home EEG. I think the results of your testing will be better recorded for the doctor to analyze than in a hospital (which in this time of COVID-19 which makes some even more uncomfortable) because you can be more active and do some of the things you would normally do at home.

Arrived at the address but the building had no outside signage for her office. Entered the building and there was no posting of which direction of where her office is. Finally found it! Nice, clean, bright office! Upon entering, Maggie was on a call and noticed no other patients waiting. When she got off the phone, I eventually approached the front office window. She quickly said "You were supposed to be here at 10:30am." I'm like what time is it now? She stated 10:47am. I asked why 10:30am and she said to complete paperwork. I then said questionably "in addition to me completing it within the patient portal?". Her response was of "I don't know why that's offered, it doesn't work." She gathered the documents and handed them to me but not before saying "quickly fill out....we might have to reschedule you." With a puzzled look on my face, I say you should ask Branden Blanton BEFORE I manually complete this paperwork. She does and returns to say HE CAN'T SEE YOU TODAY. My appointment was at 11am, WTH!!!! She says we're going to reschedule you. I agree and tell her only with Dr. McLeroy. She goes on about completing the paperwork, which begins to frustrate me. I told her to refund my payment made through the patient portal and left. I have never been turned away from any doctor appointments!!!! Would have ENJOYED being her newest patient because of a family referral and patient reviews! UPDATE: Before leaving her office, I told them to refund me. As of today, no refund. Called spoke with Daja asked for billing and before she hung upon me, she said they didn't have a billing department. I called back, Maggie answered and I asked where's my refund? She said they processed it same day and didn't have a conformation to send me. They're so rude, unprofessional and unconcerned! Nevertheless, I've called my bank to process a dispute!!
