Now, the wait time for the food was another story..I'm exhausted just having to write about it..smh! The restaurant wasn't crowded, so I'm not sure what the problem was. The food was edible, but not as good as we were expecting. The lunch portions were a good size. The quality of meat left much to be desired. The ground beef in my lunch burrito was too wet and gloppy. My husband found his burrito to be too spicy, which is saying a lot because he like his food to have a good kick. She said they were bland and had heavy pineapples. Her corn tortillas were French in oil and soggy. The black beans had no flavor. My husband and I had Frontera cater tacos for our wedding in Georgia. While the food was truly delicious, there were a few things that we added to our contract with them that they failed to complete on the day of our wedding. We had requested and paid for the team to buss tables, cut and serve sheet cake, maintain the water station, and stay throuhgout the end of the event. The team unfortunately arrived 45 minutes late, bussed tables in an unprofessional manner by carrying a trashbag from table to table, served the first several slices of cake without forks, left the cake station very messy, had to be reminded to refill water basins, and left the wedding over an hour earlier than had been agreeded. While we would highly recommend their food, we had a less-than-stellar experience with their catering. Our wedding coordinator also had difficulty receiving clear communication from their main contact, including when they were running late to our wedding. read more

I ordered a chicken quesadilla, simple order I feel, they gave me ground beef, I told them it was wrong, 2 mins later they came back with a quesadilla with cold unmelted cheese inside. So the drinks are trashed and when we told them they said that they would compensate us but did not do that which would of been okay if you wouldn't of said that you would take something off the bill because of your mistake. The pickup time was 7:20 PM and I got there exactly at 7:20 PM only to find myself sitting there for 25 mins, watching people after me pickup their food. I don't think I have ever waiting that long to pickup a scheduled order. So the food itself was alright. My fiancé bad the burrito and enchilada combo and the chicken was dry. We also didn't expect it to be smothered. I got the vampiro tacos. There were not bad. Too much tortilla for me though. Each taco had 2 tortillas. I guessed the food had to be good judging by the packed parking lot, the number of people waiting to eat, and the packed restaurant & bar area. I ordered the chicken enchiladas entree which included 3 enchiladas with rice and beans. And I had the mixed sauces. As always they were delicious. The salsa was fabulous. The right amount of spices. I've known Frontera for years and have recently been visiting more often due to coworkers. Located in a somewhat busy area of Stockbridge, Frontera brings some classic home styled Mexican food for a great price. Lunch specials are great to order from if you don't know what to get for first time visits. There's also other combination plates that you can get that gives a variety of items. I've tried even the 'Frontera' burger, which got some looks for ordering a burger instead of the alternatives. But hey, they make a pretty good burger. Most plates come with sides of either rice and/or beans. Overall, haven't had a bad experience when it comes to food quality. Customer service comes with very pleasant attitudes from all forms of staff here. Everyone is friendly and happy to take questions about the menu and what to order. This makes first time visits very easy for those still a bit skeptical about trying. Plenty of parking around the restaurant. There's also other parking close by, if needed. Conveniently located by Kroger if you need any groceries or gas afterwards. Very quaint area. I definitely recommend trying Frontera, especially during lunch time for casual visits or family lunches.
