I can't say enough about my FAVORITE spot on this side of town. I've been coming here since they've been open and it NEVER EVER disappoints. Food is ALWAYS fresh, delicious with great portions. One if my favorite Taco spots! Really fast and friendly! I come here often on my lunch break and have had to wait no longer than 10 min. I normally call ahead, or if i have the time, order when i get there. The prices, especially around lunch time are so reasonable. I wanna say no more than $10 minimum and that includes a drink. My favorite is the three Mexican style tacos with onions and cilantro. I always ask for the corn tortilla and the green and red sauces. As for the ambience, its very social and friendly. This used to be my favorite restaurant whenever I wanted a taste of Mexican food. Please, note that this reviews applies to both locations. We recently picked up food to go from both locations on different days. I have never been so disappointed with the quality of food here. The food was bland, lacking in flavor. Horrible taste, so much that I had to return for a refund. The quality has gone downhill at both locations. Finally, I requested chips and salsa to go and it was denied. After spending more than $40.00, I was told that I needed to pay $5.00 for chips and salsa to go. This was repeated to me at both locations. Of course, I refused to pay that ridiculous price. So sad, but we will not patronize this restaurant any longer. It was good while it lasted. read more

I passed by this place for months and decided to give it a try today. I was in the mood for Birria tacos and thought I would score here but I didn't. But, what I did order was pretty good. I order the Tuesday special which was 3 tacos, beans and rice. You can choose between chicken or steak, I got steak. The flavor was good. It also come with mild or hot sauce, I had the mild. Visited March 2020, COVID Review Probably one of our favorite dining spots in the Stockbridge area, Guacamole restaurant, was a place we sorta stumbled on for our dinner to go, because we had no clue what we wanted, but this tiny place was jam packed with a small amount of reviews, but great reviews! It took a little time to order, but once we were able to we ordered the following: Fajita Bistec (steak) ($9.99) Gordita Pastor ($4.75) Cabesa Taco ($2) Chorizo Taco ($1.75) We took our food to go and we found out a couple of things...first there was a LOT of food....and the take out food was great! We shared the steak fajita, which was easy to do because it comes with a ton of chopped onions and peppers. These along with the meat were all seasoned quite well and were flavorful. Along with the fajita came yellow rice, refried beans and tortillas, so it's a good meal i'd recommend! We also split the gordita pastor, which is basically a flatbread stuffed with whatever goodies you like. In our case el pastor was stuffed inside and again, a great snack that made our tastebuds happy. I did not try the Cabesa taco but the chorizo taco was excellent! It's sometimes hard to find good chorizo, but this one was not dripping in grease and didn't overpower everything. Recommended! Located near the Walmart near Davis road, Guacamole restaurant sits in a small strip. Parking right in front of the restaurant can be a challenge as we noted this was a very busy thru traffic area, but there's plenty of parking here. There were a few tables inside and while a little slow, customer service seemed nice to us while we waited. I can't speak on table side service. Nice little find at this lightly reviewed restaurant, that definitely appears to be a hidden in plain site gem. Give these guys a shot if you find yourself in Stockbridge! read more

We ordered Margarita's and there was absolutely no alcohol in them. The waitress brought us more margarita's and there was the most smallest hint of alcohol. It was not worth it. This place was awful. When we walked in no one acknowledged us, no signs of seat yourself or wait to be seated. Nothing. We went in and sat down and waited for another 15 minutes for the cashier to come serve us. The two servers were only going to the two tables that were already there but not once did they said something like give us a sec or anything. The cashier guy was great. He came over as soon as he could and took care of us. However, the food was awful. Tasteless. It tasted old like it had been pre-cooked and just microwave before bringing it to the table. I personally did not like this place at all and will not be returning. Also, they have no AC so be prepared to eat in 80 plus degrees. read more

What you expect of a good restaurant..... clean, great customer service, good food, decent prices.

This place is so addicting. It is the real deal and my absolute favorite spot for Mexican. It is light, fresh and very delicious. I almost always order the tacos, all of which are so good, or I will get a quesadilla every now and then. The camarones de ajo plate (shrimp in garlic butter - in case I spelled it wrong) is AMAZING every time. The cheese dip is a MUST and the rice & beans are perfect. Aqua frescas are top-tier too. Not too sweet for the horchata and the Jamaica is the perfect balance, plus they have a really nice piña and limonade. I could go on and on about this place but you should just try it yourself. PS. This is my first time her. A neighborhood friend recommended this place so I decided to go for it. The lunch special is only $6.50 which is 3 tacos (chicken, steak, or pork) I opted for the ground beef American style. The place is very clean and to my surprise there were a lot of people eating in and taking to go. I ordered to go. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I would give this place a 5 star but the customer service really needs work. From my experience along with close family members the customer service to black people is horrible. I will not describe the cashier on here (younger female) but please look into your cashiers customer service. We were ignored while another race was greeted or taken care of. I am from San Diego and have been struggling to find authentic Mexican food in the south, so I decided to give this place a try, as I am a Henry County local. When we first arrived we were promptly greeted and seated. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and my son ordered a bean and cheese burrito. The food was nothing special. It wasn't terrible but it was pretty bland and something that I could have made myself at home. It definitely did not have an authentic south of the border feel. Mediocre at best. Although the food was not great, because it wasn't offensive, I was okay with it if my service continued to be good. However, after receiving our food, I overheard our waitress ask one of the other gals who worked there if they wanted anything from Walmart. Now, this chick was nice enough, but how are you just going to abandon your table and leave to go to Walmart? From the moment she left, we were forgotten about. We were not checked on, our drinks were not refilled and I physically had to get up and ask for the check; and what's worse is that ALL other patrons were being serviced except for us! I had to ask for the check 3 times and I ended up having to go over to the register and check out at the register (another gentleman who ate and left before we did was brought his check and did not have to get up from his table). I guess the gal helping me (a different one from our original waitress who left out to Walmart), could see I was a bit irritated and began to excessively apologize for "the wait", but what about being abandoned and not receiving adequate service after my original waitress left? The excessive apologies were annoying and quite honestly, it was too little too late. I won't be going back to this establishment. read more
