So, I chose this spot trying to introduce my little brother to a new spot. I placed my order for the Queso Faja Quesadilla. As i set up everything and began eating, I noticed a baby roach crawling alongside my plate. The waiter came and took my plate. The manager comped my food. In addition, he came by to say the exterminator would arrive the next morning. This was unacceptable meaning there we we were other bugs if this was the baby. The ceiling has a plug hanging from it. The tiles in the ceiling are dirty and worn as if they've had a water leaks. The FDA should stop by this spot. read more

I've come here for about two or three years with my coworkers or family and this time I was profiled because he, the waiter, thought I wasn't going to pay. I have a had food that was average, and today's adult beverages did what needed to be done. They are attentive to what you need. They may take a minute to come back, but today's visit floored me. If you are needing a neighborhood Mexican spot in Stockbridge - THIS IS IT! The staff was great, the food was great and the drinks were strong! I sat with a large party of nearly 10 or more people and no one felt underserved. We were granted our asks quickly. The grill chicken chimichanga meal I had stood apart from other restaurants because I don't recall being able to have preference of how my chicken was prepared. I like that a lot! Hidden gem that you don't want to miss! We were driving through town and decided to stop at this little hole in the wall at the end of a small shopping strip but were pleasantly surprised by how bustling and fun it is inside!!! While there appeared to be only 2 employees working the front of the house, they were busting butt to make sure everyone was well taken care of, from the bar to the cash register and service! Santos was one of them but we didn't get the name of the woman serving. Both were friendly and upbeat. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. I've been here several times and I've always had good food and good service. The shrimp fajitas are the best that I've had! The shrimp are huge! Their stuffed burritos are also really good. The margaritas are strong, tasty, and very reasonable. The half pitcher is the way to go! My only complaint is that they don't make their margaritas freshly-made. if you ask for a Texas margarita they say they use 1800 and Grand Marnier, but it's already pre-made and poured in all of these small jugs. Overall, a good place for reasonable and tasty Mexican food with decent drinks. We came here on a Friday evening. We come here pretty often but this time around we were kinda disappointed. On a busy night our server was not attentive to us. Parking is limited in the plaza. We sat down and it took about 10 minutes just for the server to approach our table with an incomplete drink order. Menu offered a large selection. Different variety of typical Tex mex food. I got the Molcajete poblano and my husband got the chicken fajitas. The food was good my molcajete was so hot the food burned towards the bottom. We had to ask for the rest of the condiments for our table and our server was else where but our table. Drinks here are good and not so bad with prices. We came at 7:30pm and didn't leave until 10 due to delay of services and trying to pay for our tab. Definitely a disappointment in customer service read more

Food is great! I've loved everything I've eaten there. The Texas margaritas used to be what kept us coming back but my last 2 visits I've noticed they've weakened the recipe. The margarita used to be STRONG & flavorful, not anymore. They raised the price of the margarita but they took out some of the flavor & definitely a lot of the alcohol. I used to feel a buzz off of one drink, now nada! We may still go back for the food & atmosphere but save our money on the drinks. Service is always great! read more

One day during mid week, my daughter and I came for lunch after school. When I didn't order a drink, the waitress immediately seemed like he was ticked off. I was craving Mexican food after work today Ranchero Mexican restaurant definitely satisfy my craving. I had a wet burrito with beef and green sauce on top the burrito was incredible. Their guac is fresh and is the perfect mix between slightly chunky and smooth. Amazing fresh salsas as well and how could I forget that perfectly made screwdriver. I ate here recently for the first time takeout. I came here because of the great reviews and plus I was mad craving some chips and queso. They did not disappoint! I had shrimp and chicken fajitas with rice and beans and also ordered some queso. I called it in and only waited about 5 minutes when I got there. The guys at the front greeted me with a friendly Hola. They had on face coverings as well. There were patrons at the bar and also seated at booths . I took my full bag home and was very pleased . They had a container of sour cream, guac, and sala as well as 3 containers of red sauce I guess for the chips. The fajitas and everything were delicious. They also gave me a huge bag of tortilla chips which I enjoyed with my queso which was also very good. I have to eat in next time I go so I can have one of their amazing looking drinks! read more

Small business that would be easy to miss but that would be a mistake. Best Mexican food we have had maybe ever. Large selection. Friendly. Clean. I never eat beef at any Mexican restaurant because it's usually greasy. Not at this one. Flavor filled meats, delicious white cheese dip(not the cheap kind), only guacamole I've ever liked and even the beans have a depth of flavor unlike any other Mexican restaurant. Salsa started out unimpressive but got quite good as I dug in to it, and an ice cold Dos Equis. Went with a special, chicken strips in a darn good mushroom & onion gravy. I eat here all the time and love the food and the margaritas. It's become a neighborhood spot for many of the residents in the area that just want a good meal and good drink while they unwind.
