This was my first Conceal Carry training and what a great class!…read more Joe really knows his stuff! He was very informative, knowledgeable and a great instructor. He kept everyone interested helping us to actually understanding the Illinois gun law material, and there is a lot! but never a boring moment. The shooting range qualification training was awesome! Joe puts safety, education and training in a dynamic that we understand which produce better shooters. I left with an absolute ton of knowledge and confidence. We The People I give five stars! Thank you Joe.

I was impressed when I first spoke with Joshua. Upon meeting Joshua and Al I realized how very…read moreprofessional, practical, focused and committed to detail. This initial encounter was quite the opposite from what I experienced with other training providers. The training material was presented with great emphasis on gun safety, understanding legalities, hands on weapon training and though understanding of the social responsibility that the CCL entails. The facility was convenient but rather dark because of low lighting. The class room was cold at times as well. But, the quality of instruction well made up for this. Highly recommend others to consider HG Training for their training.

The guys at Critical Decision are great. I just took a class with Jason and loved it. The class was…read moreinformative, fun, and it was taught by someone that has real world experience. They really know how to keep you interested and learning for the whole time you are there. The techniques that they teach you will not only help you in bad situations but will help to make you an all around better shooter. They also give the impression that they care that you are learning and getting the information you need. They don't have the attitude of just taking your money and that is it. Jason offers you to call or email with questions even after the class is over. I will definitely take more of their classes and have already recommended them to my friends and family that are looking to take the class. You should check them out.

I also took the concealed carry class here. The class itself was perfectly fine. I liked the…read morerange that they took us to, and the educational material felt solid (although of course, the state requirements are silly). I appreciated that Gretchen kept it real, and seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. One area that I would suggest improvement on is staying away from politics outside of 2nd amendment issues. We're all there because we support that, but the class got veered off track when we started discussing other political areas that we disagreed on. As far as I'm concerned, if it's not 2A, it has no place in the classroom.

This weekend I took the CCL class with Joe and Terry, and I honestly can't recommend them enough…read more I've been shooting for a few years now, but I walked away from the class feeling much more confident in my knowledge and aware of how much more there is to learn and stay sharp on. My parents took this class last year and had been nudging me to sign up. I kept putting it off because sitting in a classroom for 8 hours over a weekend sounded like a nightmare. But wow, was I wrong. Joe and Terry made the time fly. The class was engaging, informative, filled with real-life examples that tied directly into their experience, all while tying in their great senses of humor. It was clear this wasn't just a dull PowerPoint read-along like I feared I'd get elsewhere. Their team is equally amazing: super personable and helpful, both in the classroom and out on the range. I didn't catch everyone's names, but every single staff member made the environment feel comfortable and judgment-free, which I really appreciated. I can only imagine how much that meant to the people shooting for the first time. If you're on the fence about taking this class don't be. It was an insightful, empowering weekend and I'm so glad I finally did it. Thank you again, Joe and Terry!

Can't say enough about our experience with John and John at TriggerFarm. We already had our…read moreconceal carry licenses so we took the next level basic pistol class. I would recommend this class to ALL individuals who plan on actually carrying a firearm on a day to day basis. Actually doing this class once a year to stay sharp would be smart. We were very impressed first and foremost by their attention to safety. The ground rules set at the beginning about keeping all guns holstered unless instructed otherwise and general muzzle control were simple and straight to the point. The program was simple but well thought out so that each drill built on the last. Even novice shooters can take this class given how the program is set up. I plan on taking the basic course once a year and look forward to experiencing the more complex course in the spring. Oh and the price is unbelievably low. Raise your price John, your product is top of the line. Thanks guys see you soon!

Matt also has a firearms simulator where you can run drills that you would not be able to do on the range.
