As we waited, we sat comfortably in the reception area, which had a variety of refreshments and plenty of seating to pick and choose from. Shortly after, one of the surgical assistants (Pablo?) brought us into the consultation room and asked us questions on what brought us to their office. Then the assistant brought in Dr. Dustin Haupt to begin the consultation. Dr. Haupt was thorough with explaining the surgery as well as gave us ample time to go over any questions we may have for him. The patient coordinator made it easy to schedule our appointment as well as take payment too. Overall, we are confident in proceeding with my son's recommended treatment at AVOS.

His name wasn't on the door or on any of the paperwork I was sent home with - it was handwritten in at the bottom of the paperwork. I had an upper molar extraction. I was told bone grafting was essential even though I didn't want an implant. I was charged $1,835. I had the same upper molar on the side of my mouth removed nine months earlier elsewhere - for $365. An attempt was made to upsell stem cell injection into my extraction site for $400 more - I declined. I was in horrific pain on the Friday before a holiday weekend so I did what I had to do and paid $1,835 for a single molar extraction. 19 days later, I returned to have my stitches removed. I didn't see the surgeon. An assistant told me that since I wasn't going to pay for an implant, there was no reason to see the surgeon and that the assistant would remove my stitches himself - he did. Then, I was told to go to the front desk where I was told that I should have been charged $1,865 instead of $1,835 so I have an outstanding balance of $30 after today's stitches removal. I stated I was not going to pay an additional $30 today. The assistant who removed my stitches (3 weeks post extraction) told me to wait another week (4 weeks total) before eating anything hard, but the paperwork I was sent home with on the extraction day said to wait only two week so I had already been eating hard food for a week per surgeon orders... Very frustrating after following all the written instructions perfectly. I will not be going back.

Having held an administrative position for a major university based dental school, I am familiar with all dental disciplines which helped with my search. My appointment was originally scheduled for early April and rescheduled for May 19th at 2:30 due to the COVID19 pandemic. First impression was positive, the receptionist was somewhat friendly and the waiting area was clean albeit small. As far as I could see, the COVID19 practices were being observed. I waited about 30 minutes before I was greeted by a lovely staff member who indicated that she would return to escort me to another area for my X-rays. She was pleasantly engaging as was another staff member. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing better than a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a dental office. The technology is state of the art as are the patient areas. Dr. Noori arrived shortly after I was seated in an examination room. He spent at least 20 minutes reviewing my X-rays, examining my prosthesis, explaining what he recommends and referring me to a specialist. All in all, I was very pleased with the experience!!

This has happened multiple times and it honestly feels like they are just trying to keep my money. I have had to advocate for myself throughout this entire billing process. They attempted to charge me hidden fees that I later found out I did not even owe. They also refused to submit my bill to my health insurance, even after I explained that a portion of the cost could likely be covered under a specific code. Instead, I was left with a $500 out of pocket bill that could have potentially been reduced to around $50 if properly submitted. When I checked in, they collected both my dental and health insurance information but never actually billed my health insurance like they said they would. I was later told this is something they tell customers but do not follow through on. On top of that, they failed to charge me correctly upfront and then asked my significant other to pay a large portion of the bill while I was under anesthesia, which was completely inappropriate and due to their own mistake. There was also a lack of transparency from the beginning. I had to question a $400 charge just to understand what I was being asked to pay, while others were apparently informed right away, according to my significant other who was in the lobby. Communication has been extremely poor. I have been trying to get in touch with them since February with no success. No matter the day or time I call, no one is available to help, which is especially frustrating while working full time during their business hours. They recently told me they would follow up with me regarding the issue, and it has now been over a week with no response. Overall, the billing practices are unprofessional, disorganized, and not transparent. I would not recommend this place. On a positive note, the only good part of my experience was a dental assistant who mentioned she loves country music. She was very kind and genuinely helpful.

Dr Lesnick was not only super understanding about my fears, she also was able to give me some tips to ease the reflex. As for the procedure itself it was a great success healing and inoffice care very easy and comfortable. Trust me, I'm the last person to rave about any type of oral surgery but Colorado Regional Oral Surgery was incredible from the office staff to the technical staff. I actually scheduled this surgery with another local oral surgeon and had a terrible experience starting at the consultation. So, I felt very blessed to have an entirely different and WAY better experience with Dr Lesnick. From now on she will be my go to and I will strongly recommend her and the office above ALL or ANY local Lakewood, Wheatridge, Denver area provider.!.!

From the front desk staff to Dr. Weinstein to her assistant Susan, everyone went above and beyond to treat her emergency with respect and concern. The return visit to see how things had progressed was every bit as good as our first encounter. Highly recommended.

I couldn't decide what scared me more, receiving anesthesia for the first time, or actually getting the teeth pulled! Anyways, suffice to say, this experience was a really big deal for me. Dr. Schafer was very sympathetic to my anxiety about the procedure and made sure that her staff did everything they could to make me comfortable, which I really appreciated. The actual procedure only took 30 minutes for me, and it seemed like it was over in an instant with the IV sedation. I was then sent on my way, and returned a week later to make sure my gums were healing properly. Looking back, I can't believe I made such a big deal about this, it was so easy here! Thanks for a quick, pleasant, and easy procedure, Dr. Schafer! Would definitely recommend getting your wisdom teeth removed here.

The dental assistants were nice the day of the surgery. That day I left surgery, I peeked into my mouth after the bleeding had stopped and noticed that there was not any stitches on the lower sockets. ( I was a dental assistant/ oral surgery assistant for 4years) I called to see why there wasn't sutures placed and the assistant was not kind to me on the phone. They were treating me like I was some kind of crazy person, and that I was over reacting. Anyway, a couple days later I got a wicked infection on the lowers. I got scheduled to be seen, but upon the phone call to the office they again, were treating me as if I was over reacting. And informed me they would see me " To put my mind at ease". At that appointment it was discovered I did indeed have an infection. ( don't understand how, I followed all the rules, used my medicated mouth wash as directed. ) anyway, I was put on antibiotics for 10 days. I took the full course of antibiotics, 4 days later the pain came back, I had ended up at my primary care doctor and brought it up to her. She informed me that she did still think the infection was there based on how I was feeling, and the looks. I was instructed to go back and see my oral surgeon, they were scrutinizing me on the phone before I could even explain the issue or they scheduled me. The doctor again treated me as if I was dumb, and made me feel like I was a criminal trying to get drugs when all I needed was her to check for infection. The assistants are rude, treat you as if you are a burden: and are only nice to you when they are getting $ from you.
