After doing due diligence, I contacted this practice to get advice or recommendation on the…read moreremoval, cleaning and evaluation of my implant supported mandibular bridge. Having held an administrative position for a major university based dental school, I am familiar with all dental disciplines which helped with my search. My appointment was originally scheduled for early April and rescheduled for May 19th at 2:30 due to the COVID19 pandemic. First impression was positive, the receptionist was somewhat friendly and the waiting area was clean albeit small. As far as I could see, the COVID19 practices were being observed. I waited about 30 minutes before I was greeted by a lovely staff member who indicated that she would return to escort me to another area for my X-rays. She was pleasantly engaging as was another staff member. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing better than a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a dental office. The technology is state of the art as are the patient areas. Dr. Noori arrived shortly after I was seated in an examination room. He spent at least 20 minutes reviewing my X-rays, examining my prosthesis, explaining what he recommends and referring me to a specialist. All in all, I was very pleased with the experience!!

I have received nothing but horrible customer service from this place. Every time I call for…read morebilling help, no one is in the office and there is never a manager available. This has happened multiple times and it honestly feels like they are just trying to keep my money. I have had to advocate for myself throughout this entire billing process. They attempted to charge me hidden fees that I later found out I did not even owe. They also refused to submit my bill to my health insurance, even after I explained that a portion of the cost could likely be covered under a specific code. Instead, I was left with a $500 out of pocket bill that could have potentially been reduced to around $50 if properly submitted. When I checked in, they collected both my dental and health insurance information but never actually billed my health insurance like they said they would. I was later told this is something they tell customers but do not follow through on. On top of that, they failed to charge me correctly upfront and then asked my significant other to pay a large portion of the bill while I was under anesthesia, which was completely inappropriate and due to their own mistake. There was also a lack of transparency from the beginning. I had to question a $400 charge just to understand what I was being asked to pay, while others were apparently informed right away, according to my significant other who was in the lobby. Communication has been extremely poor. I have been trying to get in touch with them since February with no success. No matter the day or time I call, no one is available to help, which is especially frustrating while working full time during their business hours. They recently told me they would follow up with me regarding the issue, and it has now been over a week with no response. Overall, the billing practices are unprofessional, disorganized, and not transparent. I would not recommend this place. On a positive note, the only good part of my experience was a dental assistant who mentioned she loves country music. She was very kind and genuinely helpful.

I've been a patient here for several years and never had any issues, but after my recent…read moreexperience(s) here, will not be back. My main needs have really just been twice annual cleanings. I have been a fan of the office because they (at least used to) offer some evening appointments, which was great for my work schedule. After one cleaning, I'd typically schedule the next one as I was leaving ~6 months out. Unfortunately, for this most recent attempt at an appointment, this became an issue. After calling me in March to confirm a 6PM appointment on a Monday, the office called me back a few days ahead of time to let me know that, unfortunately, they had to cancel. I asked for alternative evening appointment times but was unable to secure one (when I asked for the latest available options in the day, the best I was offered was 2PM). I rescheduled for early April. I confirmed my new (now second) appointment a few days ahead of time, but again, two days before the appointment was contacted and told that they had to cancel. There was no acknowledgement that this was the second time this had happened, but hey -- it happens, right? My appointment was moved two weeks out to a Friday afternoon later in April. Today was the day of that (now third) appointment for an annual cleaning. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30PM, which I confirmed via their text and online services earlier this week. I blocked off work early (I work across town) to get to the office. I arrived 5 minutes early and waited for the patient ahead of me to finish up before getting checked in. When I finally was helped, I was told that my appointment was scheduled for 2PM. I politely disagreed and pulled up the confirmation email to show the time of 2:30PM listed, but was told that "Dr. Westphal doesn't normally scheduled cleanings after 2PM on Fridays". The individual at the front desk told me that my appointment had been moved. I was, I think rightfully, pretty annoyed. The person at the front desk went and talked to Dr. Westphal, who I guess confirmed he was unable to see me. There was little acknowledgement of blame for the issue or the fact that this was, in fact, the third such scheduling problem for what I assume is the most routine of appointments. The lack of an apology, ownership of the issue, or any flexibility when I was there in office spoke volumes. While I never ran into issues like this before, this was so blatantly disrespectful, unprofessional, and unorganized over the last two months that I will not be back.

I've been to this office several times. What finally ended it for me was the front desk…read more I declined all upselling add-ons, yet I was pressured, talked over, and pushed toward services I didn't request. Then I was asked to sign an electronic pad without being shown the actual document. No professional healthcare office should ever ask a patient to sign something they haven't reviewed. The front-desk routine reflects larger systemic issues. Today, the interaction at the front desk came across as controlling, phony, and more focused on authority/power than on helping patients. No cleaning was performed, making the visit a complete waste of both my time and the hygienists'. The interaction ended with a perfunctory 'have a nice day' instead of being reasonable, professional, or smart about helping patients. Between the ongoing upselling, being asked to sign documents without review, and several excessively long waits in the past that ignore patients' schedules, it's clear that respect and time are consistently undervalued. This is exactly how offices lose patients. Today proved to me that systemic administrative failures, combined with controlling and disrespectful behavior, can create unnecessary costs, waste patients' time, and drive people away. Potential patients should be aware: upselling and poor administrative practices here can turn even a routine cleaning into a stressful and expensive experience.

While I would normally give them 5 stars because they have done some good work for my family and I . Today I am giving them 1 star. My daughters had an appointment scheduled for next week and i received a text today saying that they have sent a dismissal letter out to me in Sept 2025. Which I did not receive. I called the office to inquire about the letter and the female that answered the phone pulled up the letter and read it to me and this is what the letter said this: We take pride in our dentistry and in the relationships with our patients who believe in quality care. Confidence in our practice and understanding are key elements to successful treatment. it is lack of these important elements that leads us to this letter. It seems that your confidence has eluded us. I then asked what that means and she gave me no answer the only thing she said is that the letter states the reason and she is going to continue to keep saying that without reason. I asked if I could speak with someone else to get some answers and clarity as to why this is happening and she told me no that the letter states everything. I have no idea what you're confidence has eluded us. The employee that answered my call then hung up on me. I googled what does your confidence has eluded us means and this is what I got from google. This is what I got from google: "Based on dental industry language, the phrase "your confidence has eluded us" from a dentist's office most likely means that your fear, anxiety, or lack of trust has prevented them from being able to provide the necessary care" Now there was NEVER an issue that my family or I have had with not trusting them or feeling uncomfortable with the care they provided. they made my small children also feel comfortable as well. I feel this is a very unprofessional way to handle the situation and to do so just days before my childrens appointment. I would have appreciated the respect to get an answer and not be hung up on.
