We didn't have long to look around, but it was a must since were just leaving the community centre across the street. I love the selection of feta, cheeses, olive oils, olives, jarred vine leaves for dolma/dolmades, oven ready Greek appetizers and imported products. There are not too many places in Markham that you can pick up a variety of feta cheeses and Greek products and if you do, they are not stocked regularly or fresh. We picked up 2 packs of super delish Kourabiedes that just melt in your mouth! Their baked goods are from Serano Bakery (one of my fav and one of the best in Greek town!). They have brought the best of Greece to this hidden gem in Markham and as foodie of everything Mediterranean and Middle Eastern, i am in heaven! They are located in a plaza (facing) Highway 7 at Albert Street. There is no street access from Highway 7. The entrance to the plaza is on Albert Street across from the Markham Village Community Centre. Looking forward to going back to try out more products when i have more time for shopping. I love this addition to Markham near Main Street and can't wait to go back!

You can always count on them to have a great variety of fresh salad greens, sweet vine-ripened baby tomatoes, delicious grape varieties (cotton candy grapes...yum), juicy berries and amazing stone fruit in the summer. They just seem to know where to source the most delicious produce year round. But it's also a specialty food shop. They have a nice selection of olive oils, pasta sauces, spices and tons of essentials, as well as dry goods. Funny, personable, but INCREDIBLE that he seems to run the place. Again, this joint is 24-hour, so this man is dedicated to his craft. This is the most odd convenience/corner/variety store in my area - it's pretty big in comparison to most others in the area, and it has some really odd specialties - for instance the weed paraphinalia display to the right of the cash - it's a big, glass-doored shelving unit full of weird bongs, small and extravagant hookahs, glass pipes, flavoured rolling papers, etc. I didn't look very closely but I believe they also have a selection of different-flavoured shisha. It's right beside a pizza pizza as well. This is a dangerous late-night hunger stop indeed. SAFETY NOTE: If you're driving, be VERY careful entering/exiting the parking lot! This is a dangerous intersection and it is a test of will, mental strength and extreme daredevil driving ability to make it in and out of here alive.

I saw on their flyer that their BBQ Chinese duck was on special for $19.99 uncut, regular price $34.99. Only two left on day I dropped by but I got this juicy beauty. BBQ duck can be very rich and fatty so this is a rare treat for myself. So delicious! Service from the butcher was slow because of this duck sale but I should have come earlier than noon which I usually do. I couldn't wait to get home so I decided to eat in the dining area of Nations Fresh Foods. So delicious with just steamed rice and some veggies!
