Great drinks, great people, great time. NOW, We have "Biketoberfest" (October) AND "Bike week" In March EVERY YEAR!!! IT is an awesome gathering, Cool bikes riding down the street strutting their unique bikes. THOUSANDS of people gather around from Thurs through Sun. BUT, (A LOT of people, bikes get their days before) Stores are open to buy all types of merchandise. Also you can get patches sworn on AND you can get tattoos. FOOD? Oh lordy, There are food trucks up and down the streets. You can choose all types delicious food. BANDS AND DANCING ? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE This part Dancing and drinking with amazing growd of people. FROGGY'S hosts a lot of advents too. I'm going to show you what they put on at the "ZOMBIE CRAW! You get to choose if you want to be a zombie or Participate. I WAS the participant. BLAAH, it was so fun. For a small price of admission you get to be transferred into a zombie, go into participating bars, get their special shot for a lanyard and a pin. I only bought my husband the " basic Hollywood" makeup package. You can also get a deluxe package for an upcharge. This package is way better. Next Advent I'm getting the deluxe package for him (YES, I put his pictures up) a lot of "Zombies" came already dressed. This place is where locals go during the dead seasons. It was fun and staff was nice. They did serve our first drinks in plastic cups which is fine if the place is packed but a no no otherwise. I bartend and bar manage. The next drink I asked for a glass and got a little feed back that they don't usually do that because they only had two people working and they would then have to clean more cups. They did serve me in a glass though. Meet some interesting people. Although Dusty might be a serial killer Had fun though and recommend the place. Drink prices are low and drinks were good. The back entrance is very rickitty and scary...inside dark paneling and dim lighting. Great atmosphere but... First of all, stopped in during a big event. The advertised menu had only 3 or 4 food items that were available. Not a big deal... Here is where the things went wrong...the bartender (Amanda) was very rude, not friendly at all, and acted like "how dare were we to bother her"... The only one star is to the cook/Barback that was very friendly, attentive, and took great care of us..wish I remembered his name. Froggy's has been a long time popular bar of Main Street Daytona Beach. It undoubtedly has some history to it, even claiming to have been an Al Capone hideout of the 30's but I don't believe it. At least I can't find any documentation of that as being fact and would assume it to be more of a tourist embellishment hype than anything else. I mean really now! When it comes to South Florida and the Miami area, there is no way that syphilitic gangster could have possibly visited all of the bars and hangouts he is alleged to have been at. Its biggest crowds are of course during Bike Week in March and Biketober Fest in October. It boast itself on being the World's Largest Biker Bar. That, however, may be true in size but the credits for greater popularity with bikers seems to go to the nearby Boot Hill or to Sopotnik's located in Samsula. Nevertheless, it gets its share of bikers wearing no colors and having no attitude during the rest of the year as well as both a healthy tourist a local crowd. The appearance inside is somewhat rustic but clean, even the restrooms. Those tending the bar are generally women, some of them being more scantily dressed than their bodies should be, but really polite, friendly and customer engaging. Overall a decent place, good for a good drink, some fun as well as a decent social meeting place. read more

Up until 3 years ago before the old owner, Denny passed this was the best dive bar on Daytona Main Street. Then it went to $hit! The awesome and bad ass nighttime bartenders left because of the new owner bs and robbing them of payroll etc. He's actually the brother of Denny who passed, but he was hated so much by Denny that he was never allowed in let alone ANYTHING to do with the joint lol. Somehow he swindled Dennys ole lady to sign over the ownership. The locals have all but abandoned this place most of the new bartenders try to rip you off and sometimes one of them even likes to wear a penis hanging out of her crotch! How disgusting is that? They want to give you drinks in plastic cups now instead of glasses which were the staple here. Just plain ass lazy. read more

The bar was busy with locals and some were friendly. Kind of a gruff crowd. It is large and has an outside porch, but those areas were closed. We went in to Froggy's Saloon last night for a couple beers. Used the ATM and got robbed, why in hell does it cost $13 to just use the ATM? Then, we get our beers and are walking around... The music SUCKED. They were playing some foreign pop shit that wasn't even in English! Next song was even worse. That's not biker music! They got their bikeweeks mixed up or they need to fire the DJ cause HE SUCKS. Bikers wanna drink beer and listen to metal music or rock-'n'-roll. We didn't even stay to finish our beers, we stuck them in our coat pockets and left the bar, if you could call it a bar, more like a strip club with horrendous music. Girls all begging for tips, missing teeth, double bagger faces dancing in cages... I think Froggy's thought it was BCR, with all those big hairy white bikers.... I can safely say that we probably won't go back to Froggy's in the future. We are locals and I've watched this place go downhill over the past 15 years. We partied with KISS at Main Street Station last night and had a blast. read more

We stopped here for a few adult beverages. The music is good. There wasn't a band just a jute box. They don't have happy hour but they pour a strong drink!!! Well worth the stop. It's about 2 or 3 blocks off the main strip. About a 4 minute walk from the shops. They have one pool table. It's a biker bar kinda...don't let that scare you. Very friendly!!! I stopped by Froggy's Saloon with my husband on a recent trip to Daytona Beach, FL. It was our first time in that part of FL. From the outside of the bar, you can tell that it's a true dive bar. Froggy's is not my type of hang-out spot but it is my husband's. Our first time there was a Thursday night and it was the busiest place that we went to all evening. The second time we went, it was a Saturday night and it was almost completely full. We had a great time! The patrons were fun and friendly. :) Plus, the drinks were cheap but strong! The only complaint that I had was that the bartender working on Saturday night acted like a snob. Not a big deal. I was there to enjoy my vacation and it didn't phase me. read more

Terrible, you should avoid it. Too many good places to go that are vastly superior. The service is not up to standards either.

Another fine Daytona establishment that you must check out. This mostly outdoor bar has elevated posts for the "entertainment". It's like they are dancing in a funny little boxing ring (it's a square that's roped off). Bartenders are nice but a bit older and really shouldn't be showing that much skin. We have been coming to this bar for years. On Wednesday during bike week we were in the out door area .one of the Security pointed a laser pointer at my friends back .When we confronted the security officer about tt, he stated he can do what he wants .it's his bar. The problem I have is that it very dangerous to point laser at people more importantly at the off duty police officer in which he did. That could turn out very bad for him.There were three Police officer including me who saw this.On the next night I was esorted out by the Police because the Security called them .My advice to all off duty Officer to stay clear of froggy,s .there not the place to enjoy yourself read more

I recently revisited on a non Bike week, and found it to be less crowded, but still the same. People were hanging out and having a good time. Went here on a Sunday night, wasn't expecting much.. Since it was a Sunday. At around 12:30 the place was packed! I was just stopping by in Daytona for the night before heading to Jacksonville for a concert. The bartender cristal (think I'm spelling her name right) was awesome!! I'm not a biker, but I don't have to be to hang out here. The biker theme is just that, a theme. You don't have to ride horses to go to a country bar, and you don't have to wear tight red pants and an ugly beard to hang out at a hipster bar. Besides a couple Harleys out front and a bizarre skeletor biker thing in the window, it just looks like your run-of-the-mill neighborhood dive bar full of middle-aged mostly dudes just hanging out or playing pool in back. Don't know what's the deal with all the dollar bills on the ceiling. The way the Federal Reserve keeps printing dollar bills, you're just wasting money by tacking dollar bills on to walls and ceilings. It's lost half its value in the last 20 years. If you had bought gold with all those bills 20 years ago, you probably could have bought a dozen Harleys. Anyhow, just saying. If you're a younger dude without a Harley looking for hot young chicks, probably not your go to place, but I had to check it out. I imagine this place is cool during Biker Week, but I'm reviewing this place for the other 51 weeks of the year. read more
