I didn't realize that they closed at 6:00 P.M. when I had made my appointment for 5:30 P.M. or I would have made my appointment for earlier. This experience felt rushed. The aesthetician kept mentioning their closing time. As a result, I actually was burned by the wax and still have residual hair that wasn't removed. I followed the directions for "after Brazilian waxing, care" and was so uncomfortable last night that I could barely sleep. This morning I am broken out, bruised and scabbing and so so unhappy. I used to be a regular for many years at the Frilly Lily in McKenzie Towne. My husband and I moved from the south east to the north west and desperate for a brow wax, I realized that I had a Frilly Lily less than 10 minutes from our house. I called in earlier this morning and was immediately accommodated. The young lady that answered the phone was pleasant and also reassured me that the person I was booked with was excellent. And she didn't lie. All of their locations are adorable, stocked with beautiful accessories, and have always been extremely clean. Skyler was my aesthetician and she was gentle, kind, and attentive. These are the businesses that need our support now more than ever and given that this is a locally owned location I will be excited to continue to give them my business. FL has a lovely clean environment. I like that the ladies working here are upbeat and like to chat while doing great pedis. They may cost a little more than the run of the mill, in-and-out, strip mall nail factories, but I come out feeling positive and with a pedi that holds up. They also offer a nice selection of jewelry and accessories in the waiting area. I do suggest you call in advance for an appointment though. They fill up so fast so, you might be disappointed if you are hoping to just walk in. read more

Love it here! The first time I went I had one girl who stated "your eyebrows are really off, I did the best I could".... Couldn't believe it. Then, second time I had Kelsey do my eyebrow wax and tint and she was awesome!!! I even referred my sister-in-law and she loved her too. Prices are steep! However, they use good wax and products. When those days roll around, Frilly Lilly is THE spot to satisfy any of your princess needs. Having gone to a YELP event at the 4th Street FL location, I had an idea what to expect at this NW location and I was so excited to visit. FL Symons Valley didn't disappoint. It l had the same rustic antique white decor dressed in pretty pink accents and bejeweled with unique, hand selected jewelry. But what set it apart from the 4th Street FL was the massive space of this location! Once you walked past the cozy entry way and wax rooms, the spa opens up into a large open space with high ceilings. I was the only guest on a Monday morning and more than relished the quiet, comfortable open space but even during busy evenings, the space was so large many people could be in and still be comfortable. Can you imagine the possibilities for Bachelorette parties and girls nights in here?! Beyond the space, the service was absolutely fantastic. The name of my manicurist escapes me now, but she is the trainer and made my entire experience perfect from start to finish. I was served tea right as I sat down and she did a fantastic job with my nails. FL is definitely a go to for nails in my neighborhood. The prices are higher than some of those cheap asian places, but being pampered for an hour with skilled and trained techs who know their stuff is worth the additional $15- $20 in my mind. At least here, I won't have to spend more afterwards dealing with damaged nails! read more

After having a terrible Brazilian waxing experience with another salon, I desperately needed it fixed. I managed to get an appointment with Kelsey at Frilly Lilly Creekside. Right from check in, you could tell their experience to detail and attention was different than most other places. Kelsey had the room all ready to go before I got there. We had a great conversation as she worked, we laughed at so much, she was quick, professional and most of all, it was the most pain free wax job I've ever had. She used hard wax and it's such an amazing difference from the other stuff salons normally use. She did an incredibly thorough job. I would wholeheartedly recommend them and especially Kelsey. I've been coming here for brow tinting for a couple years. Sarah is great at what she does and just a genuinely great person. The prices are very reasonable. I love all the jewellery and bath & body products in the reception area....there has been many occasions where I have stopped to pick up a gift for someone here on my way out of the neighbourhood. After having a few positive experiences with Frilly Lilly, I continued to go there for the back waxes. My previous back wax had been done by the same employee, and had not quite been satisfactory due to the chest being uneven, but I enjoyed conversation and she was meticulous with the back part of the wax. So, I went a few days before my wedding, and was not happy with the results. The employee who waxed me went too far onto the chest, and did not make it even at all. When I went back to have her fix it, she was very short and visibly angry that she had to touch it up, saying "I'm so busy." When she tried fixing it, only made things worse and now I have a weirdly shaped, uneven chest wax that I didn't even ask for. I only wanted the back and shoulders done, but this result is from the waxing being brought too far down the chest and not evenly being taken off. Luckily, I'll be in a suit covering this up for my wedding in several days! Definitely will not be going back to this location despite it being close to my house. read more
