Used to come here very often way back when, but decided to write a review now. I always order online to have it delivered, but let me tell you friendly's brings back good memories. Waffle fries are always a must and not to mention there burgers and wraps are always on point. I usually don't like pickles but something about there pickles makes me love them. read more

Used to go here with some friends at night after classes. Usually pretty busy. The burger came out a bit dry. The portions are large so do not over order. Staff was friendly and very hard working! The ice cream and desserts are better than most of the food. read more

Something should really be brought to corporates attention .. The place has very good food and the people are very nice, but they are extremely understaffed. There were tons of tables open and 3 other groups and I were waiting longer than 10 minutes when there shouldn't of been waiting at all because there was no one at the front desk, and the waitresses were going and sitting people. I believe I saw what was the manager acting as a bus boy, and than it took over 20 minutes to get our ice cream for dessert, which I don't mind but really how long does it take to slap two scoops of ice cream in a cup. It was my first time in a long time going to friendlys but I probably won't be going back anytime soon just because. I used to LOVE Friendly's!! I live in TX now and they do not have any. We used to go there all the time. The ice cream is delicious! I used to like their grilled chicken dishes too and their salads. I know it isn't top of the line food but it was always good. Oh the glory of it all. These little red-roofed wonders are all over the east coast. Inside its drab diner walls lives the best ice cream sundae I could ever ask for. Five scoops of vanilla (or three, if you're a pussy), hot chocolate sauce, warm peanut butter, Reese's Pieces, whipped "topping", and chocolate sprinkles. Although I love the food at friendlys, I was very disappointed today. I ordered a to go order and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Upon arriving it took 5-7 minutes for someone to even acknowledge the fact that I was there. After saying I was picking up an order I stood there for an additional 25 minutes waiting for my food to come out. When it finally came out they forgot one of my sandwiches. My food was cold and they didn't give me any of the dipping sauces that should have come with my munchie mania appetizer. I was very disappointed with the service I received. My wife ordered the new Grilled Cheese with Creamy Tomato Soup. They put something on the crust of the grilled cheese that she hated so much she barely even ate it. Kids liked the build your own macaroni and cheese. My cheeseburger was good. Service was slow. They were late with appetizer and never brought kids menus. Really slow for no reason. read more

Today I tried to order a delivery to Port Jefferson and was told they don't deliver to this area!!! I replied that you have several times before and all I got was "um well we don't" I hung up. Literally, you can munch down on a Colossal Burger while your significant other munches down on a shrimp basket, as the guy sitting in the booth behind you munches down on his chicken fajita quesadilla! -The dessert menu is huge and random, which makes it totally awesome. While Friendly's prides itself on its sundaes, you can also get a shake (which they call a "Fribble"). The Food: In general, I'm always impressed with the quality of the food. Ive been to a thousand different friendlys and the food is regular. Average. But the servers are always pretty bad. This friendlys was different. The food was great. Came out so quick and our server Toni, i believe her name was, was one of the best servers ive ever had. She really went above and beyond for my friends and i. She was alright there before we even needed her with refills or condiments. She was the sweetest person and really made our meal that much better. i cant think of a better place for families! my kids are between 3 and 11 and they all love it here. kids meals have fantastic variety and a pick and choose menu for kids is brilliant. very good price, i think its about $5 a kid. for the adults, its not really about the adults when you go to a place like this but they have a great assortment of entrees. the crispy chicken wrap is awesome with seasoned waffle fries. the ice cream is pretty good too. we have even used friendly's for birthday parties of 20 kids and the staff is extremely accommodating. read more

best friendlys i've been to! me and my daughter went in and even in a packed restaurant our waitress kayleigh was very kind and attentive. my daughter got the mac and frank and i got the good old honey barbecue chicken supermelt, delicious! and the ice cream "made the meal". would definitely return, great service and great food! read more
