Worst bathroom in the world. They say the bathroom is suppose to be the cleanest thing in a restaurant so I cant imagine what the kitchen is like. I am totally grossed out by the food, people,Everytging you name so dirty. And the floors smell like complete piss. And your shoes stick to the floor. I will never come here agian. Eating from a trash can and pissing outside is better than doing anything here. This place should be closed down by the board of health. read more

Let's pretend I came here because I'm babysitting 3 kids...not because I love the Reece's Sundae ... Service - actually pretty friendly. The servers are mostly teens, but they are efficient and great with kids. Ice Cream - They should get 5 stars for that...All of their sundaes are good. Some of our family favorites include the strawberry shortcake, banana split and the kids Monster Mash. There's even a cool sandcastle one that, while overpriced, includes a great sandcastle bowl for the kids to take home. Food - They would get about 2 stars for food. For kids, you can't really go wrong with mac & cheese or chicken fingers - as long as it's not their everyday meal. But for adults, it's hard to find anything great on the menu. I ordered sliders and they were the most dry-looking slices of beef on dry bread and stiff cheese I've ever seen. Not even appetizing enough to take a bite out of! You could go for the fried fish, shrimp, etc, but it just doesn't appeal to me. The most decent thing they ever had was a crispy chicken salad, but I didn't see it on the menu this time around. Cleanliness - I understand it's a place where kids come and create disasters, but must the table be sticky? Overall the place was in good shape, but I look forward to a time when I don't have to go there armed with baby wipes. Bottom line, if you have kids, then you've gotta go to Friendly's! read more

The food was OK, this is to be expected. Our Waitress spent more time telling us about her health problems than actually serving the table.

Short story-- My review is only on dessert. Service is severely poor. Might not have everything on the menu. Specials aren't displayed everywhere so be sure to either look around or ask. Men's stall doesn't have a lock on it. I would come for take out and that's all. Long story-- Environment: Only Friendly's I've ever been in. Not the most appealing place to eat. The menu's were kind of sticky and the coils were coming off the bindings. The menu's were also kind of confusing. They have names of sundaes with the word small, medium, or large in front of them, which make confuse some people who would point and say "I want the large caramel over nut" Service: Waitress was very slow. We had to get up and pay at the cashier because she took so long to give us our check. Restaurant wasn't even that full. One of our eaters wanted orange sherbet which they didn't have anymore. She told him when everyone else got their ice cream. We weren't going to wait so we ate our ice cream and by the time we were all done she brought his. He asked for a plastic spoon to take it to go and it took her a good 5 minutes. Dessert: Ice cream was ice cream. Prices were decent because there was a special going on that we didn't know about. It was just coincidence that some people ordered it. I ordered the Friend-z and it tasted like a McFlurry/Blizzard from DQ which I was happy about. The sundaes looked good. Small was small, medium looked large, never even saw a large. read more

A whiff of staleness greeted me as I opened the door...I was momentarily distracted by the smile of the host as I was shown my booth. *breathes in* still there...I am sniffing around and then I decided "it's about midnight, let's eat and get the F out of here." they had a $9.99 special...one entree, free soda and refills on it, 2 scoops of ice cream (can be different flavors) with one topping! I got the Asian chicken salad with dressing on the side...wasn't bad. Better than expected. My friend got the Southwest Chipotle salad....the bowl was rather stale...probably been sitting there all day. Ice cream was good...I got the chocolate chip almond flavor...YUMMY. Different twist! Waiter was attentive and pleasant. All was well....except for the smell. Tip-bits: Check out the meal deals! Sticky menus read more

This used to be a regular place for us to go on Saturdays when my wife was working nearby. Very competent burgers, even though you had to ask for the red onion that supposedly came with the burger pretty much every time. They lost us one day when there was a plumbing failure in the women's rest room, and the staff were less than sympathetic. read more

Great place! And excellent staff. It smells a little funky. But the prices are great and the food is even better

Just had to put in a comment for a really nice experience I had at this particular Friendlys. Went in to treat myself to a three scoop sundae. A young man named Brian served me. He was exceptionally patient and polite. I had changed the flavors I wanted and right after that I decided different toppings too. I apologized for changing my order and each time he assured me it was no problem. It was his pleasant disposition and manner in which he spoke to me. I noticed that the rest of the staff that was working there that night were equally pleasant. The way they spoke to each other was friendly and cheerful.Nice atmosphere and Brian was exceptional. read more

Nothing standing out from any other friendlys, but what made this visit to this location great was the staff. Maureen was surper nice ( not super creepy nice like she wants to secretly kill you but nice) from the time we step through the door till we stepped out. Even someone who had nothing to do with us passed us and was polite enough to ask how we were. I got the Big two do exactly how i wanted (usually even if i like what i get i dont or can not finish it) it and it was just perfect finished up everything nice and gone. read more

This wasn't anything special...the service was nice but the server got some of my order wrong...I made a quick comment and it sounded as if he would take it back but I decided against it. The food was good, nothing brag worthy. But with covid restrictions, they were following guidelines and the restaurant seemed clean. There was sanitizer at the entrance and servers all had their masks up. read more

Our waitress Heather was the only positive in the whole visit. Heather was the only waitress working, and she was doing her best, but she is not a magician. Although she was working alone, and not all the tables were being very patient, she stayed positive. ok, now for why it is one star.... everything we ordered was wrong!!! Not only wrong, but inedible. It turns out there was only one person working in the kitchen as well, the manager. We didn't complain, left without eating, and tipped our waitress very well because she seriously deserved it. read more

We will not be coming back. Staff was very nice. Even though our waitress forgot our drinks. French fries were over cooked and chewy. My daughter got a hot dog and macaroni and cheese which was they powdered kind and very runny. I ordered the BBQ chicken strip sandwich with mashed potatoes. The sandwich was tiny. You couldn't even see the chicken. And the mashed potatoes I didn't even touch. They were microwaved to long. They looked bad. I can't believe they would send them out. I attached a picture. Maybe it's just best to stick to ice cream. But we were to disgusted with the meal to get ice cream. read more

Recently called to make an Adjustemnt to my order and the guy was incredibly rude. Answered very monotone, didn't even greet me or introduce himself, then tried to tell me I can't make a change even though their app was bugging out and then ended the conversation with hanging up. Not even bye thank you sorry or anything. If you're miserable, don't work in a place where you have to deal with people. Stick to a desk job. read more

Nice friendly staff, great food and ice cream. Good size portions. Very busy during dinner, only distractions is the seats are getting worn. Nearing remodeling time. If you want something slightly different then the exact way it is shown on the menus, just ask. The staff is very accommodating, and works hard. This was posted on Facebook today...you should be ashamed of yourselves. Totally disgusting behavior I was at Friendly's in East Meadow and a very elderly man (he was a veteran-wearing a WW II Navy hat) ordered French toast. The waitress said let me check if it's ok bc it was after 11, she came back and said yes and then the nasty chef/manager never made it for him, he sat there for 15 mins and when he asked about his meal the waitress said she's not doing it now bc it was too late. I had just ordered and received a breakfast meal myself with no problem. The waitress and chef had a screaming match in the kitchen about it and everyone heard it. She wouldn't make him French toast at 11:15? The place wasn't even crowded. She screamed "I don't care, tell him to order something else or he can leave!" The waitress felt bad and said no charge for the coffee and he said no thx I'll pay and he got up and walked out. Nice right? Happy Veterans Day. read more

Five stars solely because of Justin! This was probably the worst Friendly's in the system - unpleasant staff, turtle-like service uneven quality. Then Levittown closed and Justin was transferred here. This young man is "over the top friendly" (no pun intended) and incredibly efficient. The take-out area runs great since he came to East Meadow and Justin makes a great ice cream sundae. Kudos to Justin. I only hope management recognizes what an asset he is to the company and how he has turned this location around. read more

Can I start off by saying, holy crap. That was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. My expectations were low, but holy shit did they manage to make them worse. Never ever will come back here. It felt wrong of me to see people walking in and for me to not warn them of the horrible experience they could have. I got chicken tenders and fries. IT WAS 18 DOLLARS!!! I got the check and I asked myself, was this a joke? Was the waitress playing a prank on me? Maybe they messed up? No they did not. These are friendly's preposterous prices. It is high way robbery to charge that much for some mediocre chicken tenders and fries. My friend also received his ice cream with a piece of plastic in it. Not to mention that it took 30 minutes just to receive ice cream. We received our food before our drinks which showed up an hour after arriving at the restaurant. We were ignored service for the first half hour we were there. I wish we had gotten up and left. The restaurant was not even busy. I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. read more

I placed an Uber rays order from here last night and I'm totally disgusted. I ordered chicken quesadillas, chicken fingers and ice cream. The quesadillas came with no salsa or sour cream even though it asked for extra. I paid extra for it plus I paid extra for a six piece chicken tenders and I only received a four piece. My coleslaw was also missing. I called Friendly's and the manager Debbie was USELESS. She told me that next time I come in she will replace the missing items. Next time???? There won't be a next time. I could not eat dried chicken quesadillas with nothing in them so I gave them to the dog. My son was so posed off he didn't eat. Debbie needs to learn customer service. I would of personally driven to the customers home with the missing items. I will never go there again. She told me to take it up with Uber eats. What an asshole!!! read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Went today on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Place was not crowded. Took over an hour to get our food. The waitress blamed the cooks saying that they were just very slow, but then the manager said that the reason was because they had a lot of carry out orders. Now, the waitress had to come back to us a few times because she kept forgetting stuff so it wouldn't shock me if she just simply forgot about our table. She kept skipping us and going to serve the people seated behind us. At one point she was walking by and stopped in her tracks by us as if she realized she had completely forgotten about our table so this very well could've had something to do with the service today. However, the manager giving us her excuse makes me think that the entire restaurant just isn't run very well at all. Especially since we were seated near the pick up window for carry out orders and the entire time we were there we saw around 4 people pick up carry out orders. read more

Been there numerous times in the past and they just redid this location and I must say it looks great. I went with my family and we had a great time. The waitress , Michelle, was on point, courteous, professional, and very friendly. The food came out fast and was exactly what we ordered. And a free sundae with the kids meal, what's better?! Yuck. I've been disappointed by this Friendlys multiple times. The service is too slow (which would be okay if everything else was awesome, but it's not), the atmosphere is tense and uncomfortable, the tables are always sticky, and they messed up a salad. I have always been a fan of friendly a ice cream. Being a former employee while living in Boston, I loved their black raspberry ice cream. My husband and I entered this place and no one Acknowledged us for 5 mins. We sat down and the silverware was dirty. We ordered a coffee picture and looked at the dirty sticky menu and decided we couldn't eat here. We left before ordering. The food on other peoples tables did not look or smell at all appetizing. Not a good experience. On the upside, they didn't make us pay for the coffee. read more

Out of all the Friendly's locations in Long Island, this one is by far the absolute best. I come fairly often with my grandfather for our night out together and he always gets the chicken soup which he has never had any other way than piping hot and delicious he says. He usually gets the New England Fish and Chips or a burger and always enjoys what he orders. I usually order the Honey BBQ Chicken Melt and order the fries and the bacon cremated. I love burnt and crispy bacon and fries. MMMMM. This is the only location who ever burns my bacon for me or even serves hot fries for that matter. The servers, although young, are quite attentive and friendly. The server we had last time, I believe it was Nicolette was extremely friendly and took genuinely good care of grandpa and I. We also ordered small sundaes, grandpa with strawberry ice cream with strawberry sauce and myself with Nuts Over Caramel and Butter Crunch with fudge. I love the Nuts Over Caramel but the Butter Crunch was a bit to crunchy for me (I'm not trying to be funny here). I almost cracked a tooth on the crunch. Now that I am becoming an old lady, oy vey, I guess maybe I will have to switch to Butter Pecan or Chocolate Chip. I will be back, but I think it is time to switch up the sandwich and start getting something different. I am just not so sure what yet, read more
