I used Friendly Sedan Service for the first time and was very satisfied. I had been searching in vain for an airport shuttle service that provided child safety seats. I stumbled upon Friendly Sedan Service on line and called them to see if they provided child safety seats. They said that they did not but that we could use our own child safety seat when they picked us up, they would then hold on to the seat for us, and then they would bring the seat back with them when they came to pick us up at the airport. I was delighted to hear that because I did not want my 1-year-old granddaughter transported in a car in Northern Virginia traffic without a child safety seat. As a Gainesville resident, I was also pleased to find that they were "in my backyard", so to speak. The vehicle arrived on time to pick us up to take us to the airport. The vehicle was in good condition and clean. The driver was patient with us as we installed the child safety seat. Our travelling party consisted of 6 adults and the 1-year-old and we had a lot of baggage. The driver loaded it all when he picked us up and unloaded it all at the airport. Our plane was late arriving upon our return. When we landed, I received a text from the driver asking us to call him when we got our baggage and telling us where he would met us. The driver's timing was perfect and we and he both arrived outside at the same time. As promised, he had our child safety seat. He again loaded all of our baggage at the airport and unloaded it at my house. I was very satisfied with Friendly Sedan Service and would absolutely use them again and would be very comfortable recommending them to friends and family. read more

I can not write enough good impressions about our pick-up at home and our trip to National Airport as well as our pick-up and return home. Exactly on time and a very clean and a large Suburban car for our trips; we had plenty of room. Upon our return to National, I was in continuous contact with the Service so that once we picked up our luggage we knew exactly what door to exit the airport from and our car was loading us up within one minute of leaving the airport-since we were in contact with the Service we both knew exactly where we both were, it was great. The rates are more than reasonable and posted by location-and not by time-(with DC Metro-area traffic one never knows how long an airport trip will take)-I too like knowing my cost up front-after I looked at driving to and from National Airport and the cost of daily parking-it was very clear to me that using "FRIENDLY Sedan Service" was and will always be the way for me to get to the Airports-we could not have been more pleased -- just a great service and now I don't have to drive to the airports again-just another great way to start a vacation and leave the driving to our new friends at "FRIENDLY Sedan Service." read more

I rarely need a taxi or car service, but today I needed one urgently. Friendly Sedan Service promised to have a vehicle to my home quickly, and they delivered on that promise. The vehicle was very clean. The driver was courteous, extremely helpful and even took the time to make conversation with my four small sons. We reached our destination safely and quickly, and when it was time for us to return home we received the same kind of five star service. The company even guaranteed me that the same vehicle would pick us up, allowing me to leave my children's car seats installed. This saved me a lot of time, not to mention the worry of keeping up with car seats. As if the two superb and friendly drivers, the clean vehicle and the reasonable price were not enough, the driver who returned us to our home even stayed to help me get my own vehicle started. He unloaded all of our bags and car seats, and then he helped me get my dead car battery (that had resulted in us needing the ride in the first place) working once again. I found this service when my flight was delayed and I arrived in DC at 1 am. As a female traveling by myself in the middle of the night I was a little freaked out, but I saw good Yelp reviews for Friendly and contacted Gopa to set everything up. Since then Friendly Sedan has been my go to for my frequent business trips to DC. There's nothing better than landing after a long flight and knowing that someone trustworthy is there waiting for you. The drivers always arrive 20-30 minutes early, and they have all been wonderful people across the board. Wouldn't go anywhere else for airport transfer/ taxi service! After Uber failed to take us to the airport at 4 am, we found Friendly Sedan Service on line and decided to give them a call. The driver showed up at our house 15 minutes later and saved the day!!! Not only that..it was an absolutely first class service. I messaged this company on yelp to ask for a quote fron my mothers home in Gainesville to Dulles. The price was about the same as a taxi but i needed someone reliable to make sure she gets to the airport on time. The pickup time was early morning like 5am and the driver was 10 min early. Driver gladly helped with the bags as i cannot lift them due to surgery. He was very nice the whole ride and got me to the airport on time. If you live in the Haymarket area you know how challenging it can be to get a ride to the airport. Uber is slow, virtually non existent and not reliable, Washington Flyer is hit or miss too. This is my third trip with this company. The drivers are kind, courteous and conversational ( if you want to chat). The car is clean and they have water ready for you if you want it. My first trip with this company was back in May and from then on I haven't used anyone else! They are prompt, and take care of your bags for you.
