Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.

I can't believe it took us this long to finally go because WOW! First of all, Todd and Melanie are the sweetest. So welcoming, so friendly, and just genuinely great hosts. They made the whole experience feel relaxed and special without trying too hard. The atmosphere completely transported me. It felt like we were in Paso Robles or Temecula on a random cozy wine night. Dim lighting, great energy, amazing pours. Ugh! such a vibe 10/10. For wine, I had two glasses. The NV Malbec and the 2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir. The Malbec was 100% hands down my favorite. Bold, smooth and packed with flavor..... just how I like my wine! The rosé was crisp and refreshing too. Anyway, if you love good wine and great service, this place is a total hidden gem. We'll definitely be back for more wine!

The place got packed pretty quickly so it was hard to move around. For the most part people just hang out at their table. The great part is that you can bring your own food and they have nice live music ( think Hotel California, and California Dreamin type of tunes). The crowd is mature and laid back. I like that people could bring their dogs and let them walk around, but in the back of my mind I was worried about stepping on someone's paw or in a puddle of #1. Luckily that didn't happen. The owners are really nice said they're expanding so that's great news. They have a nice selection of wine. On their paper menu. Tip- scan their QR code and you'll find more drinks- my group stuff two bottles of wine but I believe I saw someone drinking a glass of sangria? Nice to have a spot like this in town to relax and BYOF.

It was a little "West" for some people, but 4pm on Friday, and everyone got there without too much traffic. When we arrived, the windows were open, a nice breeze came through, there was a great wine selection, and Greg was an awesome host (educating the newbies about the wines, talking LPs). My team picked out LPs from Phil Collins to Drake to Sade to Amy Winehouse that Greg put on while we enjoyed the afternoon. Yes, it's a great place to do wine flights, or weekend evening live music, or just a bottle with friends, but the work happy hour hit a wonderfully refreshing note - and the entire crew loved it. I highly suggest opting for Nabu as a great happy hour place.

If you like to be adventurous with your wine this is the place to go as they have several to choose from. The staff and owners are so nice, we got to spend a little time with them and got some of the backstory on the wines, felt very personable. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

CRUSHED. IT. Debby is like the cool aunt who brings wine AND emotional support, and Mike is the kind of guy who probably knows how to fix a carburetor and pair it with a nice Barbera. These two are warm, welcoming, and an absolute dream to work with. They went above and beyond to make the event a success -- helping with setup, being wildly gracious hosts, and just creating a vibe that was classy, cozy, and a little bit magical. If Napa had a chill, funny cousin who was actually fun to hang out with, it would be Sunland Vintage. The wine? Chef's kiss. The space? Cozy. The service? A+ with extra credit. If you're looking to sip great wine, support amazing people, and/or fall in love with two wonderful humans named Debby & Mike, this is the spot. Can't wait to come back with my wife. - Sean L., Your Friendly Neighborhood Comedy Guy
