Now THIS is how you do a brewery! The beer is bloody good, the pizza is fantastic, the nachos are loaded, and the smash burgers are absolutely outstanding. That smash burger? Crispy edges, juicy center, packed with flavor -- exactly how it should be done. The pizza comes out hot and delicious, and the nachos are the kind of thing you keep going back to even when you're already stuffed. Everything just works here. Good beer, great food, big portions, and zero nonsense. You can tell they actually care about what they're putting on the table. Simi Brewing, you nailed it. Bloody excellent. Ok let me start by saying that this place has not been open for long, but based on what I've seen twice now, it's Simi Valley's newest place to be. The first time my family and I came to try the place, we couldn't find anywhere to sit so we left. Hey, I get it, happy for them but was bummed couldn't try the food. Looked really good. It is self-seating, I'm not a big fan of that when I go out to eat. It is a pretty loud place, I don't mind that either, it's a brewery after all. I found this one lady occupying a 6 seat table by herself and reading a book (rolling my eyes). Let's go to the food, we were able to get a table 2nd time we came and here's what we had. Corn/Elote - amazing, must try. The nachos - you have to get, we ordered 2 because we devoured the 1st order. Wagyu sandwich is their take on chopped cheese, but I was pretty disappointed as the onions inside were burnt and burnt onions do not taste good. The potato chips were bomb. So. We had the burger a it was yummy. The Brie and peach pizza was underwhelming because the because had no flavor, but the though was good. I had the cider 2 cups, very very yummy. I was a bit taken aback because the 1st cup was a nice beer cup (glass), 2nd order came in a plastic cup that looked like a cognac cup. Plastic?!?!? read more

Excited to have a brewery here in Simi. We went a Thursday evening and it was busy, but we found a spot. It is a little loud inside and has TV with sporting events, if you want a quieter space outside is a better option. They only have one beer of their own right now, but good selection of other breweries for wide selection of beer and they have wine and soft drinks. We ordered a pizza and cheese and steak sandwich which were delicious- the sourdough crust is delicious! They are new and still figuring out the kinks so you may need to be patient, but overall this is a pretty solid brewery. I would recommend it and will be retuning!! read more

Checked it out today. Very impressed with the setup and location. Lots of staff, they seemed friendly and attentive. Them not serving their own beer (at this point) is an interesting move but the beer that was there was good. The pizza served there was SUPER FRESH. Dough was soft, pepperoni was crispy, tasted great. -1 star due to them serving beer in PLASTIC GLASSES. No establishment who cares about what they're serving should be using plastic to serve their product. But I guess it's not their product. Hopefully when they start serving their own beer, they knock off the plastic nonsense. We shall see. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Had a good experience at Simi Valley Brewing. I would have given it 5 stars, but unfortunately, a lot of their food was sold out when we visited, so our options were pretty limited. The food we were able to try, including the pizza and flatbread, was actually pretty good. That said, the space itself is great, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a lot of TVs to enjoy the games, making it a nice spot to hang out and enjoy some drinks. They also have a great selection of beer with plenty of options to choose from. The staff seemed pretty overwhelmed and definitely outnumbered, but they were doing their best to keep up and provide good service despite being busy. We arrived a few minutes before opening Saturday Aug 30. 5pm. (Soft opening was weds ) There was a long line , about 50 waiting to get inside. Haha, that's nuts. Lots of support locally, that's great. Across the street from Costco. The parking lot was large , however by the time we left - 6:30ish. Likely the lot was full. Friendly people as we arrived , and throughout our visit. Probably holds around 80 inside , and maybe 50 outside. We snagged a table inside. Currently guest taps only. Understandable, they just started. They offer only 16oz pours. Maybe that will change. $8 , was average pricing. Got a single hazy , collab with wagon wheel. Solid. They had water stations throughout. I brought a water bottle just in case. Also they brought water glasses to our table. They have a kitchen , and while we did not order food - looks good. I did not ask , but likely you cannot bring your own food. That's good and bad. Overall wonderful startup. The outside area will be perfect when it cools down. Will check out again in 2-3 months when they have their own beer. I enjoy Enegren , but that's about an extra 15 mins west past svbc. read more

Here we go! The long and somewhat forever anticipation for a brewery here in Simi Valley and particularly at this location. This evening was the soft opening to the public. What a pleasant experience! Simi Valley itself has been desperate for a local, fun and spacious brewery. After years of failed attempts, SVBC has finally broke through. Currently they are at soft opening stages so both food and drink menus are limited. But honestly, pretty extensive considering. What I mean is pretty much full menu, minus bbq items; and majority of beers are outside local craft items. I drank the Plenty of Pilsner and Real Brews of Simi Valley tonight. Solid pours. Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered our food and drinks through the QR code at our table and then waited...and waited. After about 40 minutes, we still hadn't received ANYTHING -- not even our drinks -- while people who arrived and ordered after us were already getting their food. I finally had to ask someone if we could at least get our drinks, and only then did we receive them. We continued waiting for our food, but after watching even more tables around us receive their orders, I went to the cashier to find out what was going on. That's when I was casually told they were OUT OF WINGS, which was part of our order. Seriously?? Why did no one come to our table and tell us? If I hadn't gone up and asked, how long were we supposed to sit there waiting for food that was never coming? Instead of simply apologizing and acknowledging that our order had clearly been overlooked or mishandled, I was told that this was their "usual wait time." That made absolutely no sense considering customers who ordered after us had already received their food. At that point, nearly an hour had passed and I asked for a refund because we couldn't wait any longer. They refunded the food we never received, but apparently not the portion of the tip that had been calculated based on the original total. What bothered me most wasn't even the wait. Mistakes happen. It was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and even a simple apology. A quick "I'm so sorry, we dropped the ball" would have gone a long way. Instead, what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend outing became an incredibly frustrating experience. We left after wasting nearly an hour without ever getting our food. Definitely will not be coming back. The worst place ever!!!! Don't go there!!!! read more

Ignore the haters, this is an **announced SOFT OPENING** all the issues brought up are seemingly being worked through :) SVBC was amazing, we've been here multiple times already! 1) Ambiance was spectacular. There is not another place in Simi like this and we've badly needed this. Wonderful outdoor space, beautiful interior, tvs, music, string lights, beautiful massive tree in the middle, great people and car watching outside, safe for kids and pets and just a wonderful place to hang out 2) Beer: they haven't rolled out their own brews yet but that's coming in about a month. The selection they have now is top of the line though, with local taps. Very excited and looking forward to their own when they're released! 3) Food was phenomenal. We got their pizza, which we were told uses dough imported straight from Italy. The pizza left us wanting to try every other one! Salad sizes look extremely generous. We also got the chopped beef sandwich which was mouthwatering. 4) Service was outstanding given the soft opening. Yes, some things took a little longer but that is *expected*. We had someone come by the table every 5-10 min to make sure we had what we needed and when we did ask for something, we got it immediately. All staff were extremely friendly and responsive! 5) Owners truly care and want to make this the best place FOR Simi Valley. They want your feedback. They've poured their lives into this and it's a wonderful small business to support. Ali is amazing and we can't wait to spend many, many great years here together. Nice place, it was packed on a rainy day. I think they should play music, the menu on the wall was very hard to read. I think it should be lit up better. My beer was served in a plastic cup made to look like a glass and that was crazy! My beer should be served in a real drinking glass, to stay cold. Came in on a Labor Day weekend during their first week and a half since opening. First and foremost, very impressed with speed of service. Place was very appropriately staffed and all our food / drinks arrived within minutes of ordering. Staff seemed very busy, but were friendly and very well trained given the short amount of time since opening. Solid environment as well. Interior has TVs everywhere giving a good mix between a relaxed patio and sports bar interior. We will be back! read more

Wow! Was at Simi Valley brewing last evening. Met some friends there just for the experience. I had the Irish nachos. Man were they delicious. Chips were fresh and crispy, the meat was tender and seasoned to perfection and the sauce on top was amazing. I met Jonny the master chef. So friendly and shared with me his sauce creation. Then Tim came by our table and spent some time with us. My understanding is this has been in the works for a while. So happy to meet those that I met and looking forward to returning very soon. My wife, kids, and I were first excited that SVB was finally open. However, we were VERY disappointed in the food, service, and business mgmt practices. We upgraded my sons smash burger with fries, we got the chips. We had to request our fries. My other sons wagu sandwich was good but had no sauces, we had to request sauces. my wife and I waited ONE HOUR, then a worker whom I believe comes from another local (well run restaurant), stated sorry but we ran out of meat. Then stated to walk over to another guy for a refund. A simple replacement with pizza or a Coupon, would have been great. They supposedly gave me a refund for my Two Burgers (Poblano)but I have yet to see my refund on my bank account. Yes, We need more eateries in Simi, Yes, we were super excited to hear about SVB. Blown away. Went with 3 kids under 10 and have been dying for a place like this to open in simi. The food was SPECTACULAR!! We often eat out with our kids and having a decent kids menu is huge. We did the kids chicken fingers which is Mary's chicken (organic, free range chicken) and was honestly the best chicken finger I've ever had with delicious fries!! The pizza is made with non gmo Italian flour and they've nailed it! The crust is supreme. The margarita was great- kids chose that over cheese and loved jt, the spicy hot honey was actually spicy and delicious. 2 of the 4 owners were walking around and seemed genuinely gracious for our presence and loved that we took up a table playing card games. One of the owners said he wants his place to be "the living room of Simi Valley". We expected the food to take awhile so the card games kept us occupied and happy. The beers they brought in were delicious but can't wait to try their own in about a month they said.
