Friendly Donuts is our favorite donut destination in Orange County. From traditional donuts to mochi donuts to vegan and gluten free, they have a wide selection for everyone, they are always fresh, they look amazing and taste so yummy! The staff always makes you feel welcome which adds that extra touch. I drove by this spot for years and never thought to check it out. After all, there are so damn many donut shops in this area (but I don't know any others that have vegan options.) The first time I actually went in, I couldn't believe how cute the interior decor was. They have fancy artisanal vegan donuts (even with creamy stuff like crème brûlée dubai chocolate) as well as vegan staples (maple bars, blueberry, classic sprinkles.) But there's also a ton of options for non vegans, gluten free folks (mochi donuts anyone?) and people who just prefer croissants. read more

Friendly Donuts on Chapman is basically Disneyland for donuts except cheaper, no lines, and nobody's judging you for eating six churros before 9 AM. Walked in for 'just one donut' and somehow left with a box big enough to qualify as carry-on luggage. Pretty sure the glazed donut winked at me. The staff? Suspiciously nice. Like, FBI-level nice. They hand you a maple bar with so much warmth you start wondering if they secretly adopted you. Open late too, which is perfect because nothing says 'life together' like housing a dozen donuts in your car at 1:37 AM. Final review: My diet is gone, my pants are angry, but my soul is happy. 1/11/25 - This shop sells specialty donuts of a wide variety. I paid about $18-19 for 5 of their specialty donuts. We ordered the French crème donut, Plain dosant (donut made out of croissant layers stacked on top of each other), Cookies and crème donut, Crème brûlée donut, and Devils food donut. My family and I liked them! The interior is cute and brightly colored. There were only 2 workers which made sense as there were not more than 2 customers in the shop at a time while I was there. read more

They have an amazing $2 einspanner, which first got me to go. After the first time, I've gone back just for the einspanner if I'm in the area because it's delicious and such an unbelievable price! Their pastry selection has so much more than just donuts and they have amazing unique flavors. Their jalapeño croissant is huge and my son loved their donut holes. Now this place knows how to make a doughnut! The group has been visiting doughnut shops all over the area and we have found a pretty consistent type of doughnut. Nothing special in most places. We came here because we went to dinner in the area. This place had some above-average doughnuts! These were much more like fried cake then fried pancakes. Everyone raved how much better these doughnuts were over recent places. I think this has set my standard for doughnut shops. read more

this is the fastest i've written a review bc this place is amazing. the worker is SO sweet and friendly, just the definition of genuine customer service. my partner and i got non-vegan and vegan donuts respectively and she added an extra vegan donut so that we could both have it (,: the decor is so cute and all of the extra donuts are stored in the back of the store, which is dimly lit and cool to keep them fresh! the donuts are all so stunning and the prices for the vegan donuts are so reasonable. finally!! and the selection for vegan donuts is quite large and clearly marked as well. i'm glad that i live near this place because i'll have to return. parking is pretty easy too because this shop has its own lot! read more

I think what stands out about Keto Bakery is that their desserts are sugar and gluten free and keto friendly, although I don't have any restrictions myself. Overall, they were tasty and were just as good as any other dessert places. It's a small place as any bakery normally is. You're in and out. Staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. For 4 cheesecakes and 2 cream pies, I was $50 out the door. Safe to say, this is a bit of a splurge. For a "healthier" alternative, I may end up here again. But to just be craving sweets, you'll find me somewhere else.

The interior was really clean, spacious, and quiet. If I wanted to find a place to study, this is the place to be! I'm not sure, but he is really nice and helpful and helped me pick my first thing to try when I came in. I ordered the Phoenix oolong with boba; a deliciously roasty iced drink with perfect boba! Admittedly, on my 2nd visit, I got it adjusted to 75% sweetness and did not love it as much but that is all on me. This one is best as it comes, full sweetness! I need to try other drinks but I really like the Phoenix Oolong. It's like a classic milk tea but better. Give it a try!

I dont mind the price if its called for but this isn't quality tea or fresh fruit puree drinks. The boba was hard and chewy (additional $1.30). Most expensive add on fee ive experienced. Even at more known places known for their boba charges max 0.90 Only positive is the texture of the drink is good. They've lost me.

We have made pit stops at this OG branch of Cream Pan in Tustin over the years. The location of…read morethis well-known Japanese/French bakery was unusual in that it's isolated in a corner of the El Camino Plaza. I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.
