Saw the place while in the area and decided to stop in since we'd just moved to the area and I hadn't looked for a barber yet. Clean shop, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, cordial and friendly staff. Best of all, I got a great haircut and a great price. I feel bad for not remembering the personable young man's name but I was thoroughly impressed by how attentive to detail and focused on doing a great job he was. Definitely use their online scheduling system to get an appointment! That's how I was able to get one with Chat and she was very nice and courteous at the shop. I'm new to the area and saw Friendly was just around the corner from where I was staying and is Asian owned so I wanted to go here. I haven't had a haircut at a shop since 2019 and tried cutting my own hair in 2020 a few times lol Anyways, got into the chair, showed Chat a couple pictures of my favorite Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby and just got a high fade. Turned out great and the last bit where she took the single blade to shave the lineup was flawless. My other Barber was Robert, however he moved out of town. He did a great fade. Good luck my man! Worked with my man that's in Robert's old spot (straight ahead to the back when you walk in, unfortunately his name slips my mind at the moment, will update) he did a very good good fade for me as well, though unfortunately he doesn't do them too often so took a little longer to dial it in. Still looked good in the end a great barber, great listener and very friendly. Next time in, I tried Randall and he killed it so now he's my #1 guy, he's awesome, fades me up perfectly in under 40 minutes typically. Also, in general their prices are much better than dang near every other barber around. I'm from Chicago and kinda used to having a friend or family member cut my hair at a discount, so definitely nice to get a cut for under $40. I'll cut my own hair to a Cesar as I can tend to be a cheapo sometimes (don't judge me ), especially at $40+ tip for a cut. So getting a fade for under $30+tip that lasts me 3 weeks is great to me. read more

I wanted to try some place new and the last spot was inconsistent even though I always get the same haircut. I have been going here the last few times and loving my new cut each time. The barber shop is always kept clean, masks are required, and everyone is friendly. Appointments are easily booked through their website and they text you with a reminder. Do Not Trust Your Beard to Friendly. I went in for a haircut, and since they offer beard trims, I asked her to just cut the stray hairs from my beard. Explicit instructions were "leave the length, leave the bulk" just a little less crazy. I came out 30 minutes later with less than half the beard I walked in with. If she couldn't trim a beard, she should've said something instead of chopping off 3 months of growth. read more

I was told they are not excepting walk-ins and you're booked for the rest of the day. How do you turn away business in this economy lol . Today, 08/29/19 @ 11:00am, my husband and I went there to have my husband get a haircut. Well a man approached us at the door and asked if we had a reservation and we said no and he stood up and then he took my husband in a chair and his name was EDDIE. He then told my husband that he's only been there a few days and that he started asking my husband some questions about his life and then he asked what he wanted to have done with his hair. My husband told him that he is a Retired Veteran from the AIr Force. My husband then told him to just shave the whole head like a "Cueball" and EDDIE then asked to have his beard shaved off and my husband didn't know what to say. EDDIE then started not to listen to his customer and he asked my husband if he can excuse himself to go and talk to someone outside and then I started to feel very uncomfortable with that situation. He came back in after a few minutes and then he started to shave my husbands head. EDDIE also decided upon himself to use a blade at the back of my husband head to u guess clean some areas and he struck a pimple and it started to bleed. Mind you, my husband has PTSD and when my husband jumped from the cut of the blade, EDDIE then said that he was startled by the movement and OMG you've cut my husband and you're the startled one? I then went to my husband and EDDIE preceded to ask me "Why and I looking at him like that?" I then explained to EDDIE that my husband has PTSD because he is a veteran from the military and EDDIE didn't know what PTSD was and he then looked at me. I was then explaining to EDDIE that since he has PTSD he needs to tell him what he's doing, before he does it to avoid my husband from jumping and being startled. EDDIE then decided to argue with me about my husband being "OK", and how my husbands body under the cape was shaking. I don't like it when a barber who has just started there a few days argues with their customers spouse regarding the husband. EDDIE came to us being so abrupt with everything and he seemed a little rushed. He also said that he was going to take him time and if we were in a hurry and my husband said "no" and EDDIE said that he wouldn't cut my husband and he did. He needs to pay attention to his customer instead of running his mouth on other things. My husband is shook up today and he keeps feeling the back of his head if there is blood. EDDIE has made my husband feel uncomfortable with the haircut today and won't go to him again. My husband goes to this barbershop often and SAL or SIV always cuts his hair without any issue. read more

Really good cut. Was passing through Vegas and wanted to get the fade trimmed up before I hit my plane. I think they are owned by a Thai woman (there were many Thai decorations on the wall). This was a good sign as I want somebody who is able to do Asian hair. Ironically got my hair cut by the only Caucasian woman in the place...but she turned out to be really good (even after I asked her if she was good with the fade). I wish I remember her name...she had skills to do a tapered high fade. $15 with yelp coupon was more than reasonable... and she gave me a sweet straight razor shave on the neck. So I love when you can book an appointment thru the YELP app and this business lets you do just that! They also had a promotion of a discount if you check in on the app.....So double bonus! I HIGHLY recommend booking an appointment because while I was getting my cut and shave so many people were walking in and having to wait a bit while to get seated and cut. So plan ahead and get yourself an appointment. The location is nice and clean and very welcoming. I am not a local so the barbers obviously didn't know who I was but it seems like they have a lot of regulars and they knew a lot of the people showing up. Judy was the best hair cutter I have ever been to. My boyfriend started going to her years at another shop and has followed her where ever she goes, for cuts and face shaves . She has never cut him, Ever! #amazing! My lady at another shop couldn't get me in and he recommended her.
