After a few years of my first incident that occurred here, I decided that I would give them a second chance. A few years have passed, and I'm sure they have new barbers. I went in and they currently had clients, they said it would be about 15 minutes. I did go across the street to get money from the ATM machine, so please check and ask if they accepts cards. I totally forgot the name of the barber but he was very nice and understanding. I told him what I was going for and ask a few questions and he got to work. Traveling around the western U.S. for the past 4 months, I've had some experience with new barbers. I've gone to Anthony's twice now, both times with another of their barbers. This time, I dropped in & Anthony was my barber. I mentioned that I don't have a "real" part in my head, thinning hair & a whole lot of weird cowlicks so I was looking for him to do what he thought would work. He noted my hair grows straight up of my head on top and will tackle that last. He did a terrific job! Very chill, the shop is laid back. Even though it's a smaller place, the barbers are very skilled and great at what they do. Marco is amazing at what he does! They accommodate wheelchairs and are super friendly. I'd recommend them to anyone who likes a non fussy place for a good haircut. read more

Had a great experience bringing my 12 & 13 year old boys in for their beginning-of-school year haircuts. Both my boys really hate getting their hair cut, but they had a good experience at Anthony's. The shop is really laid back, and Anthony and his team are good with kids/teens. They were able to ask questions and easily understand what my boys wanted. They do good work here and the cuts turned out great. The price wasn't cheap, $40 per cut, but when the kids only let you drag them in once every 6 months you want them to get a good cut! I only went here because It was listed as a "nearby" barbershop . Typically I check reviews of a place before I go, but I didn't check the reviews of this place because I figured since its a barbershop & not a "salon", chances are they won't mess up. I say that because a lot of salons do hairstyles that are much different from what a man wants when he goes into a barbershop. Salons & barbershops are not the same & I know a lot of salon workers think because they've learned the basics of how to cut a man's hair in cosmetology school that it's simple- but no. I've seen an unfortunate amount of times where men got their hair cut by a female in a "salon" and it was a mess. Anyway, I came into this place with an infantry soldier. We originally wanted to leave because we thought the prices were pretty high for a basic buzz cut. But what we experienced there was beyond what money could buy. The whole vibe was amazingly welcoming & the workers were so wholesome & nice. They gave off this vibe of what it's like on the East Coast to go into a barbershop . I say that because on the East Coast, everybody knows everybody and 9/10 times a person has been going to the same place for many years and so it feels more like family when you walk in . That's what this place felt like . The infestation of jerks moving to Vegas from California has made Vegas feel like California and that sucks. But this place was totally removed. It was like walking into a family owned bakery in Boston to get donuts- & Who doesn't love donuts? so no one is in a bad mood. Lol. The difference is this is a barbershop. They said thank you for the military service & in the end some other customer ended up paying for the cut & extra for a tip. WOW What an amazing experience Called to see if we're busy or available for a walk in gentleman on the phone said "FREE COME ON IN". We live 4 minutes away. Walk in and first chair says have a seat its going to be a little bit. Husband said "wife just called said free right now for walk in.???" First chair says some spiel! Said okay went to walk out and the fun starts first chair starts YELLLING "F U AND YOUR MOM" and some other things as exiting. Open door back up and said "what?" Having been in the Marine Corps I am extremely picky about razor fades. Most places I've been to in Vegas either don't or can't get close enough to skin or leave a crooked line. Moved to green valley area from California about 3 weeks ago. Was in dire need of a hair cut and decided to try Anthony's barbershop. Walked in on Sunday and a third way into the haircut I knew I messed up. I asked for a low taper fade to razor and beard lined up. Not once did the lady cutting my hair pull out a razor. Instead just kept cutting and cutting while coffing next to me. Straight messed up my hair but I didn't make a fuss. Even tipped her. I'm not mad at her or about her skills as a barber but mad at the owner for letting someone of her skill level work there. Obvious I won't be returning. I was near the DMV and was running short on time so I looked around for a barbershop nearby and I found Anthony's. As you know, it's always scary venturing forth into the hands of a new barber so I was shaky at first (especially in Las Vegas...where it seems like it's easier to hit a Jackpot than to find a good barber), but my hair was a disgusting mess so I had to try. I went in and everyone was very polite and friendly. As Anthony began to cut my hair he was making sure he was only doing what I wanted, The place feels very homely, and relaxing, a place where a man can feel good and be himself. 2019 update: the place has changed focus, my longtime barber left in the fall and I tried two times but never got the right cut, sloppy. If ya want fades and that sort of thing that seems to be their new thing....to bad hate to see this but I will move on. By far the best shop in Henderson. The quality of the haircut is unmatched.
