The waterfall displays, koi pond setups, and full outdoor kitchen/grill areas are so fun to look at it's like Pinterest came to life, but dangerous for your wallet if you get ideas The greenhouse itself is always worth wandering through. Rows and rows of healthy plants, tons of variety, and plenty to choose from no matter what you're planting. It's one of those places where you'll find something new every time you go. Pricing is pretty comparable to other local spots not cheap, but fair for the quality. They also send out coupons in local flyers, which is a nice little bonus. I've seen deals like half off a perennial or a free petunia with a purchase, which makes it even easier to justify grabbing "just one more." Overall, this is another must stop every season for me right up there with Fry's. Whether you're shopping with a plan or just browsing for inspiration, you'll find something worth bringing home.

What really sets Esbenshade's apart is peak season. When spring and summer roll around, this place is unmatched. I buy all of my garden plants and flowers here, and I could easily spend hours just wandering, planning flower beds, and dreaming up layouts. The space is vibrant, colorful, and overflowing with healthy plants, and it's genuinely inspiring if you love gardening even a little bit. Behind the greenhouse, we had a delightful time listening to our instructors who clearly have worked side by side at the farm. Educational facts about herbs with a sprinkling of humor began the event. It is so wonderful to attend a class where they share their knowledge about the herbs and their uses. They give you salient advice that helps you decide on which herbs fit the taste profile you enjoy so you build your herb pot on what fits you. Then to top it all off they gave us a handout that covered trimming, drying and pairing herbs as well as a few recipes! A wonderful experience! Thank you for making my Mother's day extra special!

The store itself had a wide selection, far bigger than the garden area of Home Depot or Lowes. Despite the orchid festival being present, the nursery still had many of their own orchids on sale. I wouldn't say any of them are that rare by any means, but the selection and display was pretty reasonable. The festival happened in the back area of the nursery under a few tents. There was a lot to choose from, so it's a nice event to attend if you're around the area when it happens. There were also a lot of non-orchid items, like pots, soil, and any other gardening items you may needs. Overall, it's a cool nursery to come to if you're in the area.

And the customer service is definitely great, every employee asked if we needed assistance. However, I was looking for native plants with lots of pollinator support, and struggled to find any plants I recognized. I am searching for a native tree to put in my front yard, and thought I'd at least find a selection of Redbuds, but all they had out front were dozens of Japanese Maples. Even if I did find a "native plant!" tag, it rarely had the actual plant's name on it. So - if you're looking for impressive landscaping, this place is probably great. But if you're trying to support your native ecosystem, search elsewhere.
